>> lawrence: so the teamster's union represents 10,000 workers at 10 amazon facilities. they say they are fighting for better benefits and safer working conditions at work. >> steve: that's right. those are live pictures right now portions of los angeles, new york, atlanta and chicago. and the union says if y your package is delayed. something you wanted for christmas and it doesn't show up, the union says blame amazon's greed because what they're trying to do is trying to get a settlement before christmas. >> ainsley: they want more money. they want to get paid more. teamster's organization only 10,000 people effected. and when you compare that how many people work at amazon, it's

a small, small portion. because 1.5 million people work at amazon. hopefully it's not going to effect your packages. but just beware if you are shopping, there could be a delay. >> lawrence: they are definitely using this as a negotiation tool. they are fully aware it's the holiday season and people want their packages. and they are using it to put some pressure on amazon. i'm not sure it's really going to work though considering the amount of people that are protesting. >> brian: do you know how the president likes to be hands on. jeff bezos having dinner with him last night. the teamster's president down at mar-a-lago. did he not endorse trump but he didn't endorse a democrat and they do get along. i think he could probably do -- still do party lines or facetime. you could facetime with your people or zoom call and president trump could end this. >> steve: president trump needs to work on what we are about to talk about. >> brian: that's a transition. to another fox news alert. the government shut down deadline is quickly approaching as president-elect trump and

with the bill like this. he is going to bank roll a primary against them. it makes elon musk the center of the universe on capitol hill in a way that nope -- i get that we always have every christmastime we have these government shut down fights complain about it and there has never been an unelected official like elon musk at the center of it like this. >> steve: that's exactly right, peter. yesterday when we had speaker johnson on. we quoted to speaker johnson the fact that elon musk said this bill must i do. elon musk is saying that clearly donald trump is probably on the same page. it didn't take long before he came out on truth social and said, you got to get rid of that because there is too much stuff in it. and what it all came down to apparently was, you know, we -- when he was on, the speaker yesterday and he was talking about okay, there is going to be

disaster aid and there is going to be $100 million farm bill. well, the democrats said we will go for the farm bill. but we want all this other stuff. and that's the price of doing business if you wanted to pass. speaker johnson said okay to all that other stuff. all that other stuff is what hacked off all the republicans and those two men in that picture and that picture together didn't like it. after our interview with the speaker. i started working the sources talking to people about what is going on. where does the president stand on this. eventually i started getting the run around so i called the president. the president-elect is probably one of the first times put this on record. he goes we broked story on "fox & friends." i'm totally against the cr. he was not only upset with the pork. but that they hadn't gotten far along in the process. and that they weren't including some of the things essentially that he campaigned on. he did not like that it wasn't a clean bill and he said why are they we started' probably cause

a shutdown at that point in time. he has full control. he goes be i think the president made very clear is he sympathetic. he understands that he doesn't have full control right now. but he feels like they are kind of getting steam rolled right now. >> when you read the bill. when the speaker was on with us yesterday. it seemed like we need this disaster relief. 1500 page pork fest is what the doge leaders are calling it. 72 pages of it for pandemic preparedness and response. do we need that right now? dewould have to have that renewal of the much criticized renewal engagement center is that criticized? is that important do we need to fund that right now? we need a football stadium in d.c. >> being subsidized a new bridge in baltimore. a pay increase for congress. and here's the thing, the speaker's vote is on

after detained for chaotic outburst caught on video. >> chaotic scene caught on video showing 35-year-old michael virgil trying to kick down a door on a cruise ship shortly after it left los angeles. he appeared drunk and allegedly attacked two royal caribbean crew members. the video goes on to show security attempting to restrain the passenger. fox 11 reporting security uses towels, zip ties and handcuffs and either bear or pepper spray in the. they believe virgil died within an hour of security injecting him with some sort of sedative. they say what happened was not characteristic of him. well, the fbi is investigating. but saying only, this quote: the fbi responded to a royal caribbean crews on monday when it docked in los angeles and is investigating an incident on board that resulted in death. royal caribbean releasing this statement, quote: we are saddened by the passing of one of our guest. we offered support to the family

>> ainsley: we are back with a fox news alert. a man in california is accused of plotting a coordinated attack with a madison, wisconsin school shooter. according to a gun violence restraining order, obtained by cbs. 8 in san diego -- sorry, that's the tv station cbs 8 in san diego, the man sent text messages to the 15-year-old school shooter about targeting a local government building while she opened fire on her school which she admitted during an fbi interview. a san diego court approved the order earlier this week giving the suspect 48 hours to hand over all the guns and ammunition. in wisconsin police are still investigating a motive for that shooting that left a 14-year-old student and substitute teacher dead. six others injured and teenage shooter also died from self-inflicted gunshot wound. now to another alert, accused

ceo killer luigi mangione is expected to waive extradition to new york today after he appears in a pennsylvania court. he could arrive back in new york as soon as today he also faces 11 charges in new york. including first degree murder but he could reportedly also get hit with federal charges, which could make him eligible for the death penalty. the faa issuing temporary flight restrictions overnight prohibiting drone flights over multiple sights in new jersey for at least the next month. meanwhile, one military base in the garden state says they have experienced drones attempting to smuggle i illicit items into a federal prison within its perimeter it. comes at "new york post" is reporting that at least 17 military bases near chinese owned farm land in the united states have experienced multiple drone sightings over the past few weeks. today, eric adams former chief adviser is expected to surrender to face her own criminal charges after resigning earlier this week. those charges do not involve

yourself. he was deployed how many times? >> for seven christmases. >> ainsley: missed graduation, one of your children's graduation day. it's very hard. but how did this impact, tell us the story you were telling me during the commercial about your daughter and what she did when she saw her daddy. >> so, i think that we get wrapped up in the big moments and you miss the little moments. so my husband recorded the stories and sent them home. my daughter was 2 when i first put on the tv i wasn't sure her reaction. she would get up and walk behind the tv and look and go and sit back down and go and see him. i will tell you when he came home from deployment she immediately went to him, brought him home, wanted to see her room. and i think that ability to see him reading to her on a regular basis while gone really changed the dynamic not only for the deployment but for coming home as well. >> ainsley: right. you loved the organization so much you wanted to be a part of it.
