7:23 am
it's a headwind for the economy the feds may be missing the mark again if the rates go above 5% on the tenure they're going to have to start raising rates again that would be indicating inflation is picking up again. and that majored in debt and deficits going on right now from our government. >> that is important to everyone is what mortgage rates are based off of. you are talking possibly upward pressure on mortgage rates and money is more expensive if you're trying to buy a house for. >> leave no doubt the last two to three months are the home builders. they are the most interest rate sensitive. as interest rates go up they are coming doubt there is a one plus one equals two going on this is vital because i've been watching the 10 year yield up and down for years it's a dominating force for the markets as well as the economy. we do not want that getting out

7:25 am
what happens to the stock market that seems very focused on the fed and 2025? >> don't you feel so much better there is no clarity out of the man that has probably 1000 analysts out there. look, going forward and i cannot say this any louder any clearer there are couple factors out there that i think a big time. for the first two months of the fiscal year 624 billion-dollar deficit. that's a red rate of 3.7 trillion that the bond market wakes up and reacts to that who knows we could be six or 7% and then look out below. the other card is inflation. i do not think it has been beaten. the rate of inflation has come down prices or staying up there very sticky. prices are still going up a lot less so. if that starts to accelerate
7:26 am

faa issuing a ban on drones over key areas of new york and new jersey is the mystery of the settings continues. local officials what more answers from the federal government and want more information. mayor ryan hurd is among those pushing for answers. he said the drones oppose an invasion of privacy to local residents the mayor and joints meet now. mr. mayor, appreciate you being here for this. you see the drones, to buy the answers you're hearing on the federal level these are planes or personal drones? [laughter] >> good morning and thank you for having me on. do i buy it? absently not. see you, here's the problem we are now almost two weeks into this since i pinned the letter two weeks ago sunday we had 21 mayors that actually signed that letter. up until now there's been a lot

of talk a lot of posturing there is been no action. we still have no idea what is going on. edward: senator richard blumenthal said that shoot a few out of the sky and figure out what's going on do you think they need to be shot down or some of them? >> it's a good question. first i'm going to say not by a citizen we are not going to try and shoot these things down in her backyard. were not going to try to catch these. we are not going to try to send up a hobby drone and take pictures. as i've said before the unintended consequences of this could be horrible and we don't want that. with that said, i do expect the federal government to step up and get one of these. there's plenty of space to get this. unfortunately, last year or the year before there is a big balloon apparently from china, that went across all of america aired and we did not do that

then. so i don't know if i've any faith in our current administration and current government to really step up and do anything. edward: generate 20th, that ends. why do you think no one can figure out where they are at landing or taking off from? they have been spotted in the sky. >> i do think we do know. i think our administration currently is absently useless. that's the difference between the current administration and the administration that is coming in. two weeks ago trump said the federal government knows exactly who this is and what they are doing. that is fine. why don't they tell us? if it is some kind of operation to remap something or whatever, that is fine. but now we are weeks into this. the biggest issue is this when we are not answering the american public's questions then hyou have all these conspiracy theories. when people are seeing every

single night on main stream media on youtube and x and the social platforms, they are seeing what's going on in syria and ukraine. they are saying is that something that could happen right here in new jersey? right here in america? we are not getting those answers. edward: you're still concerned obviously but what needs to materialize with this? >> i need them to step up. remember, we have elected these people for the whole idea about elected officials is at the end of the day they've got our back. so we can get on with life. christmas is what, less than a week away? right now it should be about family. it should be about thinking of others and yourself. what were going to do for the holidays, the gatherings, the reason for the season. and yet we are not getting any answers. i believe one of those reasons were not getting answers is because they went to bury it under christmas. so this way the american public

is not thinking about it anymore. it just goes away and boom it is gone. >> if you get an answer from your letter and when did you last hear about federal officials? do you expect more briefings before the end of the year? don't expect anything else. the administration has brought in technology or whatnot they brought in technology that is only capable of tracking last one in class to not class three in class four. these drones we are talking about that we are seeing are larger drones. they are not your typical drone. i say don't you think of something the size of your hands up and these are in no way, shape, form, that. it seems to me it's very convenient for their bring and technology that's not going to find an answer to this problem for the going to be able to say american public, do not believe your eyes. you're only seeing planes, stars, 1000 regular legally operated drones.

it is plausible deniability and we are sick of this. edward: didn't the governor at some level in new jersey needs to answer questions? has he engaged with you? >> he has engaged, boy he has engaged. yes, i believe he should. with that said i also believe the federal government. i believe both our estate and our federal government is letting us down. but unfortunately, we are kind of used to that. look at what is been happening over the last four years. absently useless these administrations are. edward: will see what happens come mid january but we appreciate mr. mayor thank you very much and hopefully we get answers for you and others wondering what dhec is going on up there. >> thank you a merry christmas to everyone. edward: at my christmas to you. new details emerging on the christmas market attack. we will tell you what officials are saying about the motive it now. plus republicans finally nailing down a deal to keep the government open.
