charlie kirk spoke with the president that's what he wants to call it, that's exactly what we're doing. he says president trump knows the people of arizona have always been with him, and they just delivered the largest wing of all of the swing states, giving him a 5.5% margin of victory. and the reason he won with such a large victory in that state is because of of the crisis at our to southern border. griff: arizona's been ground zero. tucson is the sector with the most known gotaways over the past four years, and he's going to talk about the mass deportations, he's going to talk about what he's going to do on day one, and he's going to be introduced by his incoming border czar, tomman. and, you know, on -- tom homan, and on monday when i talked to the president-elect, i asked him about venezuela. how are you going to get venezuelans to take them back, and he said, they're going to take them back. yesterday i talked to tom homan as well on the air, and he

actually made some news saying if venezuela won't take them back, perhaps some other countries might. here's some of what he said. >> i.c.e. offices across the country are prepared to go out and target public safety threats, tda is on top of that. they're going to be detain thed and removed. i've been talking to several different countries, and if venezuela won't take them back, other countries will. peter: trump's intro is going to be from tom homan. when in our lifetime is there, like, a lifetime the -- lifelong i.c.e. agent immigration expert who's going to be greeted by thousands of cheering fans? [laughter] he's probably going to talk about deporting these people, these violent gangs to a standing ovation. i can't remember that the ever happening, anything like that. griff: well, you know, it's fascinating because of this moment in history that young people understand that the change in the demographics, the

change of what our country will look like 10 years from now if, 20 years from now if we don't stop allowing the border to be open and having these violent criminals come in from venezuela and the number of illegal crossings from all over the world, from china the to the middle east, africa. and so i think they're dialed into this issue, and it's it's going to be a highlight. carley: yeah. but the news that tom homan a made with you, as you said, is that the he said he believes that venezuela -- i mean, we don't have diplomatic relations with that country. so once criminal illegal immigrants cross into our country, brazenly, they do not take that person back. he says under trump and his strong leadership, he believes venezuela will take them back, but if they don't, he has spoken to other countries already, and rest assured, another country will. peter: very interested to hear which countries, because that's a tough sell. we've got this guy with 50 arrests, all violence, you take him.

griff: it is, but it's a reference to under the first trump administration they had a policy called the safe third country which is the country they got to where they would be safe before they illegally crossed into the u.s. under the first administration, it was guatemala that took a lot, so maybe there's something we don't know in negotiations ahead, heavy had talks. we'll find out. -- they've had talks. one of the other things you may hear from president-elect trump is while the numbers are down right now, make no mistake, a caravan right now, i talked to the leader of the caravan on a weekly basis, there's more on the way because there's a rush to get in in the next 30 days before trump is inaugurated. and yesterday we can break some news and show you exclusive video from texas dps, you see here this is in maverick county near eagle pass, texas, where they are coming. they're a paying -- the smugglers are charging top dollar to get people in because they know the clock is ticking to to get in before the

crackdown comes. carley: and that guy in the sweatshirt, that was a smuggler? griff: i'm not sure. we'll find out if from lt, we're going the talk to him later in the show whether they got the smuggler and the migrants. one thing for sure, it is a very big rush because of the impending crackdown coming. carley: and there's an article about how closely both smugglers and migrants were watching the presidential election. there's a woman who mansion a shelter for women and children in mexico, and and she says that her shelter has been empty since even before the presidential election because they, meaning the migrants who could potentially be illegal immigrants when they cross our border, they were told to hurry up in case of a possible change. they want to to get in now, and that possible change took place in november. peter: well, we'll seement you look at this video, it is extraordinary, and it's as dramatic an event as you can see anywhere at the border or anywhere else in the united

states, and we're only seeing it because this is right where there was a dash cam and a body cam. this is happening over thousands of miles, happening everywhere. griff: and there's a humanitarian tragedy to all this, and that is we're seeing an upic, a surge none accompanied minors being sent. and if this is by lieu lieutenant very razz tweeting out this is 11-year-old boy from mexico was sent by himself, had a note attached to him with an address to have him sent kansas. and remember that while the biden administration put a executive order in place to more easily deport people and they just were touting their deportations in the most recent i.c.e. report, unaccompanied minors, children don't apply. and so the smugglers know that they won't be sent back. and so there is a surge in the number of children coming across. look at that child, an 11-year-old boy by himself, alone, subject to the

traffickers. and we're going to talk to him a little bit about that later today. peter: you know what else we have? something that that did not come up once during the presidential election, actually, during the last probably ten presidential elections, the panama canal. [laughter] donald trump posted last night, he is accuse the panama canal if operators of charging too much. he said when president jimmy carter foolishly gave it away for $1 during his term in office, it was solely for panama to manage, not china or anyone else. it was also not for panama to charge us exorbitant rates and rites of passage. if the principals -- principles of this magnanimous if gesture of giving are not fold, we will demand that the panama canal be returned to the u.s. in full and without question. and this is like what we saw

with mexico and canada already this transition, i bet within, like, four days the president of panama if is trying to make a reservation for dinner at mar-a-lago. [laughter] don't take it! carley: you know what? i'm sure president trump would take the reservation and say, come on down, lets talk -- let's talk. panama just arrested a new president whose last name is molino, and he's pledged to bring panama closer to the united states. but this is something that you can expect with donald trump back in office. he did it with nato. he looks at the norm, the status quo, what we've always done, and he says if they're ripping us off a, if they're not reit thing us fairly, then we're going to rip up the deal and put america first. it's something that the establishment did not like about him, but it's also one of the reasons why he's back in office. griff: i love this story. i cannot overstate how much i love this story. he reached back 50 years to a treaty to address the western

leverage to get panama to shut down the darien gap passage, then guess what? no one shows up on our border. it's the same as in his first administration when he forced mexico to harden their southern border. he's looking even further. i don't know that for a fact, but i would be willing to guess -- carley: very interesting. griff: -- immigration component as well. peter: and i would be willing the guess that donald trump has already seen that chip from three years ago. carley: he's been stewing about it. give us back our canal, gosh darn it. peter: it's interesting, last week we saw trump up come out in support of longshoremen and the union, this week he's trying to lower the price per ship in the panama canal. for all the talk about things many space and drones, somebody is bending his ear about these big ships -- carley: yeah. peter: and he knows, donald trump knows he can't just snap his fingers and fix inflation,

he can't lore prices for everything. but if he could lower prices a little bit for these huge, slow moving ships, that would be a win. carley: yeah. he's taking a lot of meetings and putting other countries on notice. griff: the panamanian palace yesterday when an 5eud walked in and said, oh, hey hey, have you seen this truth social post? carley: we have some entertainment news, actor/director jason baldoni is being sued by actress blake lively. griff: chanley painter joins us with the details. what is going on with this? >> reporter: yeah, it comes months after rumors first surfaced of an on-set feud between the two after filming it ends with us. according to court documents, lively is suing baldoni for sexual harassment, retaliation

and infliction of to emotional distress system of the allegations include showing nude if images of women, mentioning pornography addictions and discussing sexual experiences. lively also alleges because of her complaints on set, baldoni began a coordinated effort to croix her reputation through a social manipulation campaign. according to the lawsuit, baldoni and his lawsuit hired a crisis public relations expert as the release of the movie approached which is the same team that represented joan joni -- johnny depp, by the way. she includes text messages between baldoni and his team with the pr agency. one aide this, quote: he wants to feel like she can be buried, of this the pr expert if replied, you know we can bury anyone. and here is a look at some of those negative headlines that circulated during that press tour of the movie including one calling lively rude, hard to. watch and canceled.

but attorneys for ball coney are firing back saying, quote, these claims are false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media. and now in light of this lawsuit, baldoni has been dropped from his talent agency, guys. carley: what an interesting story. i saw all of this unfold in really thyme on -- realtime on social media where there were all these negative headlines about her and posts under social media, the comments were so awful. i'm thinking, why is everybody ganging up on her? now, if this was an orchestrated effort, you can see why she's suing, by goodness. >> reporter: the lawsuit contains thought -- thousands of experts between baldoni and his team, the director of the movie that really, in her words, shows a coordinated smear campaign against her through these headlines, and now she's fighting back. carley: chanley painter, thank you so much. peter: turning now to your

headline, police say a man was shot and killed after a police chase yesterday. the driver tried fleeing police after he was pulled over for a suspected dwi. he eventually got shot and killed by authorities inside the mall to stop him from doing any more damage. the suspect was not an active shooter as they continue to investigate the incident. over a thousand workers at amazon's largest west coast air hub joining the picket line in san bernardino, california, adding to the hundreds of amazon facilities already being affected by the ongoing strike. the union continues to say it will picket 24/7 until their demands are met. meanwhile, starbucks' baristas expanding their strike in several states as well. workers shutting down dozens of stores across the country yesterday as the union says the parent company has yet the present them with a, quote, serious economic proposal.

on his business cards. you would have had an easier time finding waldo in a candy cane factory than finding grandpa joe's fingerprints anywhere on this historic toic deal. so, first question, if trump -- as you write -- ran a master class with this, was it democrats or republicans who were the students? >> i think that they both were. i'll be honest, i don't know what you are hearing, peter, but on monday i was on the hill, and my sense is there was not an appetite for a showdown fight -- or shutdown, in large part because it would rain on the inauguration parade, and there was so much optimism. but on wednesday the heads of the department of government efficiency, elon musk and vivek ramaswamy, took to social media and x and started exposing what was in this bill, softening the target. and then trump, i mean, he lowered the hammer on this thing. got an awful lot of pork out of the bill. we wound up with a much better

bill and, you know, we dodged or maybe i should say we doge-d a bullet of massive spending. peter: i'm going to steal that, probably for a white house briefing before they leave. and yesterday when we were doing the show, there were some reports bubbling up that the president-elect wasn't ultimately happy with the deal that was struck. is can you explain why you think it was still a master class even hoe he didn't get what was reportedly his number one thing which was raising or getting rid of debt ceiling. >> yeah. look, i think raising the debt ceiling prior to taking office was always going to be a really, really difficult lift. i'm not sure that that was ever achievabling. but one of the things that trump does and that good negotiators often do is they will go in with an unrealistic goal at first with the idea that, okay, we'll compromise, we'll compromise and arrive at something that is good. you know, we've seen, we've seen

trump do this a lot. donald trump does not negotiate with himself in the way that we've seen from politicians like barack obama and joe biden. so, look, i don't think he really thought he was going to get that, and i think that where this bill landed is so much better than with where it started that it's very clearly a victory. peter: and if you're joe biden, why just give trump an opportunity to negotiate a spending bill before he's president? if what's next? do you think he's going to ask him for help, like, ending the war in ukraine or in gaza? >> i mean, i think those things are already happening, right? we're already seeing nato reacting to to trump's imminent if return to 1600 pennsylvania avenue. we've already seen zelenskyy and putin say they're more open to some kind of a deal. we've certainly seen massive things happening in the middle east. i don't know where joe biden is, that's your beat, peter. but not for much longer. peter: yeah.

griff: let it snow, they said, and it could very well be a white christmas in part of the northeast. if boston seeing its heaviest snowfall in nearly three years as a winter storm blankets the i-95 corridor. a record 119 million people plan to travel for christmas year, but the weather could threaten that. more than 200 flights already canceled this morning. let's turn to rick reichmuth for our fox weather forecast. rick: that story about boston being the biggest snow in three years says more about the last

three years, to be honest with you. we haven't had any significant snow in the last three years across the northeast, so getting some of this was very nice yesterday for so many people. temperatures behind this, though, are brutally cold. in fact, dangerously cold, in some cases the coldest we've been in about two years as well. so be prepared for temperatures that are in the teens, single digit miss some cases and feels-like cases in the single digits. feels like 6 degrees in new york city. sounds like a perfect time to be planning all kinds of outdoor events for our show, if you ask me, carley. be careful. because yesterday a lot of the roads began to melt, it will be solidly frozen over -- carley: we're going to be solidly frozen over later in the show, believe you me. rick, thank you so much. for the first time in almost 20 years, hanukkah and christmas will be celebrated on the very same day, bringing interfaith families together while highlighting america's religious heritage. >> so what's it going to be,

little bit of fun with that movie clip, but the fact that hanukkah starts on december 25th really is a wonderful way to highlight the unity between christians and jews. so with that in mind, what should we be thinking about this holiday season? >> well, i think the weather report that we just heard beforehand tells us this is the darkest and coldest time of the year. and when you look at the excitement about christmas and hanukkah, the number one adjective that plays in my mind is warmth. and in the darkest and perhaps coldest time, let's make it lighter, let's make it warmer, and i think that is what unites all of us in america who believe so deeply in the judeo-christian values upon which this country was founded. carley: father, what is your message? >> the message is faith and god is strong in our country and our jewish brethren also celebrating on christmas day is a sign of god's providence. this is a country in which you have freedom to worship god.

we do so with respect for each other's religions, and that judeo chase china -- christian heritage is a foundation do. if we don't have faith in god, our nation has no future. carley: rabbi, it has been a difficult year for the jewish people for obvious reasons. what is the meaning of hanukkah in light of that? >> i think there are two fundamental messages that i want people to know about hanukkah. the first is, is that you are not a bystander to history. finish the mca bees, who are the here to rows of the hanukkah story -- heroes, they rose up to fight against the tyranny, they rose up to fight against those who were anti-religion and anti-god, and they were able to restore freedom and integrity for their reliberties freedom in the land -- religious freedom in the land of israel. and the second is when you reach out as some that are looking to night for that which is right, god will meet you halfway. it was the miracle of the oil that was of only supposed to

last one day that the lasted eight where god sends his divine hand and says you did the right thing, let me partner with you. and that's a story for all people. we are here to partner with god. carley: father, we just were talking about when we it should our holiday gift shopping, and system people aren't even done yet. there's so much gift giving and material pressure put on people at this time of year. it's difficult -- it can be pretty easy to forget about the main message of christmas, so how do you keep the main thing, jesus christ, at the center of this season? >> yeah. well, we remind ourselves that the greatest gift is not something under the tree, but it's jesus christ. and the gift that god gives to us in his son who is the light of the world is meant to teach us a lesson. materialism's a dead end. it's good to share gift9s, it's good to share love in that way, but what really counts is what's in our heart and do we manifest that in the way we treat each

griff: far-left mayor brandon johnson face ifing calls to resign after the city's public schools ceo was fired friday after he refused to take out a $300 million loan for a new teachers' union contract. that is the same union that once employed mayor johnson. one op-ed arguing it is time for johnson to resign saying, quote, you have demonstrated you not a mayor for all of chicago, but only your friends at the teachers union. you are willing to the use to your power to benefit those closest to you while using the children you say you care about as political cover for your disastrous decision making. our next guest says this loan was all about johnson's push to help illegal migrants already costing his own taxpayers more than half a billion, that's with a b, billion dollars. chicago resident -- joins us now with more.

good morning. what a non-christmas gift for the ceo with, paid roy martinez. -- pedro martinez. what happened here? >> good morning. basically, what happened is our mayor has the decided that he wanted ceo pedro martinez to leave. they asked him to to resign. when he refused to secure or the $300 million loan that the city wanted him to incur that would have put the city basically in a junk bond status and lowered the city's credit rating, pedro refused to adhere to that. also, you know, we would be remiss if we didn't talk about prior to our new elected school board being appointed, all of the board members resigned because when the mayor asked them to fire pedro martinez initially, hay refused citing that there was no real reason to fire him. and the fact that they agreed

with him not taking out the loan. and so, you know, we have our mayor who went to our state senator to maneuver the laws that took place that got our elected school board so that the chicago teachers union could have control of how those people were elected. and also giving the mayor more time or ctu because they're one and the same. when the appointments for the chicago new elected board were appointed. and so as you see initially, all of the members were supposed to be elected, and mayor johnson went to our state senator and asked him to do things a little differently and to change how the members were going to be appointed as well as how they were elected. i think that we would be remiss if we didn't talk about the fact that they are asking, they asked

these parents and regular community members to come up with a thousand signatures in order to get on the ballot. now, keep in mind that we have congressmen and state senators who don't have to have more than 300 signatures to to get with on the ballot. so to ask a parent to come up with that kind of signatures was already setting parents up to fail, putting him in a position to appoint the people that we wanted to a-- he wanted to appoint which is why we have now our ceo of the chicago public schools now being fired. griff: and cata, let's remind our viewers about mayor job -- johnson's record, a, $982 billion deficit, spent $527 million on new migrant arrivals, ended chicago's shot spotter detection tool despite a vote in favor of saving it. cata, what is the future now?

if what comes next with pedro martinez, the ceo? because it appears he was fired, quote, without cause and now has some legal standing perhaps to challenge it. >> well, of course. i'm sure thats he is going to challenge it. i'm sure that he is going to probably sue the city of chicago which means that the city is going to be finding itself in deeper financial debt. and it's just a travesty. leapt me just say that the -- let me just say that as mayor, any mayor has a right to appoint the person that they want. that's not what happened here with pedro martinez. pedro martinez basically lost his job because he refused to do something that would have been bad for the city. keep many mind that also within this teachers' contract is a $2,000 set-aside per month for migrant students only. now, keep in mind this is only for migrant students. it's not for underprivileged students, it's not for students whose families are in financial

large family. but as a senior technical executive in industry and former ceo, we have a pretty if dressful life. so everyone looks for a way to relieve that stress, and for me it was to really lose myself in creating large, overly elaborate christmas experiences, and that's how i kind of separated the work high from the home life and created some balance really around the stress that we all kneel business these days. griff: tony, when did you first decide to do this, and over the years have you sort of pushed yourself inch by inch, foot by foot to go bigger every year? >> yeah. it's always a challenge to keep going bigger and coming up with new things. it's a whole year journey for me. it starts at the beginning of the year trying to ideate on

what's new and different, and by tend of the year it's putting it all together which is really a herculean effort by myself and my wife. and we do all of this just with the two of us. we create most of the displays ourselves. i love victorian village, so i decided to make a life-sized one with animatronics in the windows. and it just is a real challenge to figure out how to build those things and be able to move them and install them. peter: toni nicker i've got to tell you, i spent my last friday night at the white house's christmas party. i think tony christmas maas if' -- kris' house -- christmas house has more elaborate decorations. carley: yeah. really quick, what's the reaction from the community and what's your favorite decoration out after owl the of all of them? >> the community loves it. we open the house for charities and fundraisers, we had the historical society's tour comes
