america's top christmas movies -- did my favorite make the list. >> thought about santa claus? >> not really. >> guy in a big red suit flying aren't reindeer spotlight he is a fame junky. >> brian: i keep my fingers crossed that fred claus made the cut. "fox & friends" starts now. ♪ >> carley: car why glenn with a fox news alert. man setting fire to passenger in new york city and killing the innocent women. sources tell us the country is in the country illegally. >> guy: madeleine rivera tells us with the details on this horrible story. >> madeleine: the details are disturbing. we do want to warn viewers the video you are about to watch is graphic. this happened sunday morning. nypd says a person of interest whom they now have in custody and victim were both riding the subway train found in brooklyn. as the train pulled into the station the suspect walked up to the victim and lit her on fire.
3:03 am
flames quickly overcame the women and chilling perhaps of this incident, police say the suspect did not leave. said he sat on the bench on the platform just outside the train car. video appears to show the victim watching the victim burn. because he did not leave, the police officers through their body cameras were able to get images of the suspect. they distributed those and the nypd says three high schoolers recognized the suspect. sources tell fox news digital the suspect is 33-year-old is he bags sapota because level of interest. the nypd source told fox news digital the individual entered the u.s. illegally from guatemala in 2018 when president-elect trump was president during his first term. the person of interest has no prior arrests in new york city and one prior arrest in arizona the source says, though details about the arrest were not available. >> at this hour, i'm pleased to announce that a short time ago alert nypd transit officers took

a person of interest into custody. i want you to know that this apprehension was another in what has become a series of joint efforts involving different crimes between the police and the public we serve. >> so now this is the post that new york governor kathy hochul is being criticized forever. she said on x in march i took action to make our subways safer for the millions of people who take the trains each day. since deploying the national guard of new york to support the nypd and mta safety efforts and adding cameras to all subway cars, crime is going down and ridership is going up. new york democratic congressman ritchie torres called her post tone deaf. >> guy: , carley and brian. >> tone deaf to say the least. touting the safety of the subways and this is hours after someone was lit up live because she nodded off on a subway
3:05 am
train? can you imagine? is there a more horrific way to die? >> carley: almost too horrible to fathom or discuss. unfortunately we are put in this position because of allegedly what that man that you see on your screen did. to make matters worse, the surveillance video appears to show that the suspect sat on a bench and watched this woman burn to death as police were already starting to respond to the scene. he stayed at the scene of the crime. and going back to covid-19 hochul's tweet and her touting that the subway system has become safer under her leadership, it wasn't only this that happened, yesterday on a queens subway two people were stabbed and 37-year-old died. >> guy: so two killings in the subways and can you say this is bad timing for governor hochul to have put out this self-congratulatory tweet on subway safety. yes, it's bad timing. it's also bad policy. that's why we are getting this problem. and it's been an issue now for
3:06 am
years. i think hochul very bee latedly is catching up to the political reality. but the mess has already been made. it's going to take a long time and quite possibly completely new leadership to change anything. because, the current constellation of new york leadership has been a disgrace on this issue. we are just learning a few things about this suspect, including that he's in the country illegally allegedly from guatemala with a criminal record in another state. it would make sense for someone like that to come to new york, a sanctuary jurisdiction hang out until he decides to burn someone to death. >> brian: guy, my sense is that we're going to find out this guy has much more of a criminal history. i don't think you indiscriminately burn somebody alive and think done something like this before. that's my sense. the other thing to keep in mind, too. the comp of "the new york post." i'm watching local coverage just to see local coverage. they never bring up his legal status. they say a new york main part of the story. we know people commit crimes. but when illegal immigrants come
3:07 am
here, many as criminals, to commit more crimes you say to yourself if the government does its job, we would not be in this type of danger. i also think that this all plays into the bigger picture of why you need massive deportation and begins with criminals. >> carley: that's right. and eric adams -- he recognizes that. that's why he sat down and spoke to tom homan who says you have got to get the criminal migrants out of the city. his hands are tied not only is new york city a sanctuary city, it's also a sanctuary state, which goes to the point of kathy hochul and policy change that she needs to take leadership under. i mentioned tom homan because yesterday he was in arizona and he introduced donald trump who was speaking at a america fest. and donald trump laid out his day one priorities. and you better believe border -- the border patrol and getting criminal illegal immigrants out of this country is among them. >> on my first day back in the oval office, i will sign an historic slate of executive

orders to close our border to illegal aliens and stop the invasion of our country. [cheers] and on that same day we will begin the largest deportation in american history. larger than that of president dwight d. eisenhower. the dea, the fbi, the intelligence community and financial sanctions to remove the migrant gangs and criminals that are killing and raping and maiming our citizens. we're going to get them out. we're going to get them out. we're going to get them out fast. we have no choice. >> brian: so he is going to get them out. that isn't a big surprise. the way we do it knowing it's weeks away. people should be ready for it. one thing the president did yesterday, he did a lot. i thought the speech was fantastic. he has got a real sense of history. is he always bringing up eisenhower and mckinley yesterday. he also knows that eisenhower is
3:09 am
considered relatively a top president. respected, and is he like what i'm trying to do is nothing that other past presidents haven't done and by the way charlie kirk a fantastic job for what he did on the ground with turning point because he was the ground game in many situations and then yesterday with that many, 20,000 show up to see him. so, just on the illegal immigration he knows is he going criminal first and people who overstayed their visas and next wave. it will take about a year and a half just to get the criminals out. >> guy: there are so many people in this country illegally who have subsequently not been just been accused but convicted of additional crimes. easiest, low hanging fruit start with also over a million people in this country illegally with active deportation orders. so you put that group together. we are talking about millions of people. and if you want to look at the polling, brian and carley, through the years, these deportation ideas have been unpopular until very recently. and i think the reason is the

type of story that we led with. in the subways of new york people say get that type of person who has no right to be here, harming our folks out of the country and now it's majority supported. people are sick of this. >> you better believe majority of part-time are for obvious reasons. the "wall street journal" has an interesting piece just released. the editorial board asks are democrats in the united states trying to attract illegal immigrants to compensate all the people that are leaving the legal people leaving their country voting with their feet. look at these numbers california 361,057 migrants moved in. 200 and about 40,000 residents moved out. new york, 200,000 migrants moved in. 120,000 residents moved out. illinois, 112 migrants moved in, 56,000 residents moved out. new jersey, similar trend 130 migrants moved in, 35,000
3:11 am
residents moved out. so, one of the things they bring up is the census. illegal immigrants are counted in the census. so if you have migrants moving into the country, then the representation stays or increases if more migrants move in than people are moving out. that's a fair question to ask. >> guy: they want those residents to count for their numbers. the stats we put up on the screen there that is what we know. a lot of these people are living in the shadows. they are very specific looking numbers. but i guarantee you those stats undercount the action influx of illegal immigrants especially in places like california. >> brian: they follow our news, illegally immigrants. potential illegal immigrants, coyotes better than we do. how many moves to the border are not happening now because they know who is president, who is coming in. how many people are going to go it's not worth it to sacrifice my house and my family to get those $25,000 to give to somebody who is going to bring me to the border and then get me

if the state of pennsylvania is moving to the right, moving redder, which is what a lot of analysts believe it is, this man is going to have to face the voters again. is he looking at other members of his party, 9 ways that they have lost and alienated people. i'm not going to make that same mistake because i want to win next time i'm out there. >> carley: so true. >> brian: couple of things, is he a politician, but i don't know did he put on good shorts for interview? this guy is very different. i mean, is he more middle than even joe manchin. i think the number one he has been pretty consistent. he has been pro-israel. he has been as pro-israel as the incoming ambassador to israel, mike huckabee. he has been unwavering for that. he has been unwavering in the fact that pennsylvania is a state that he knew was in trouble back in 2016. he said because trump wasn't going to the areas republicans normally went to. he went to small towns and steel cities and he started talking to them about unions and talking about working class jobs.
3:15 am
he thought there's going to be -- we're going to have a problem. he said i saw the crowds. and he saw the assassination attempt. >> carley: i like both things that john fetterman said there. he didn't bring kamala harris down. he said -- he brought donald trump up and said he is a singular political talent. for somebody to get shot in the ear and have the political mindset -- and i just think the natural reaction to get up and say fight, fight, fight, and to continuously have the same message when it comes to the border and the economy, despite all the people criticizing him and calling him a fascist and saying no. this is right. i'm speaking for people who don't have a voice to do that for 8 years and finally for it to pay off is exactly why john fetterman said that he said he is rooting for the guy. >> brian: politico had a story just to show you he is also apolitical on the democratic side. this guy matt steyer president and ceo nonpartisan nonprofit partnership for public service and politico says whatever you do, democrats, don't leave your civil service job.
