5:02 pm
>> the democratic president once 100,000 cops. wants to build 100 win he 5000 new prison cells. that's the secret. >> we do everything but hang people for jaywalking. >> good to know it didn't just happen in his later years. still makes no sense. the squad thinks he didn't go far enough. wanted pardons for every inmate on death row including the boston marathon bomber. have they been listening to anyone at any time o canada it's like they still have their heads in the sand. that's what democrat voters are saying in three separate focus groups. they've got their heads in the sand and are absolutely committed to their own ideas. even though we are saying that they are failing, they compare them to ostriches. another boater compared them to cowallows. they are complacent, they are lazy about getting policy wins that we really need to. another one says they are not a friend of the working class
5:03 pm
anymore. a grieving military family say they are flat-out insulting. you got this new report. it's as president biden left the femmes -- families of the fallen waiting for three hours while he napped on air force one. about according to multiple family members. the white house is denying it. you make the call at home. we told you this was the best version of joe biden ever. that's what they told us just last year. they said he's sharp as a tack. >> i meet frequently with the president and every single time i meet with him he is just fine. i hope people interpret that is up to them. i engage with him frequently. alert, sound. does his homework, reads the papers, reads all the material. is very engaging in issues of berries serious matters.
5:04 pm
>> the media never questioned it be -- you could say they were part of the cover-up. that will be a story that is written for years. now that joe biden has 1 foot out the door we think he is gone already, all of a sudden politicians mental state is a big story. but not for joe biden, this weekend -- a story broke -- broke about a congresswoman who's been living in a memory care facility. they get hungry to put this into the new cycle. >> were you and others in the texas delegation aware? >> i wasn't aware and some of these members weight until it's too long -- things have gone too far. >> leadership allowed for it? >> are not too sure what leadership new. i'd say on the other side of the islets the same thing. congress should do it's job and if you can't do your job may be shouldn't be there. >> she wasn't there. apparently it went either unnoticed are just not
5:05 pm
acknowledged to the public which raises eyebrows. >> does it amaze you that they are so curious and so direct, where is where is congresswoman granger? where was that curiosity during the entire bite in the administration? democrats and major members of the legacy media were more focused on calling donald trump a fascist, focused on running costly january sixth investigation after investigation rather than getting to the bottom of anything of substance. they kept their head in the sand the whole time. here's what senator john federman had to say. >> you were shot in your head and had the presence of mind to respond. fight fight fight. that's a political talents, it's undeniable. and also i never believed that it was about fascism. for me that made it difficult.
5:06 pm
>> kamala harris said he was a fascist. >> that's her prerogative. it's not aware that i would use because you put a lot of democrats, especially in my state, that i know and i happen to love people that are going to vote for trump, and they are not fascists. also fascism, that's not aware that regular people use. i people are going to decide who is the candidate that's going to protect and project my version of the american way of life and that's what happened. >> he was more tapped into the pulse of the nation and the people of pennsylvania than anyone in his party was. it's why they lost, not because of him, because they ignored him. they didn't just lose the election, they are losing their own people. joe mansion left his own party before he actually left washington and now he calls democrats toxic. >> i am not a democrat in the form of what the
5:07 pm
democratic party has turned itself into, the national brand. absolutely not. they know that. i said you ought to figure out how you lost somebody like me. i was born as a democrat because my grandfather's love of fdr. i was a very strong democrat because of my families love of john fitzgerald kennedy. i came through the whole integration and i was a democrat in west virginia and it's always been a 75, 80% democrat. but there was a split. i was never in the liberal side of it. i was never in the establishment side. i was had to fight my way through. >> stephen a. smith is getting a little curious as well. >> i don't think anybody can dismiss donald trump at this particular moment in time not just because of him but because of what we've seen the democrats due. we're not falling forward any longer. the american people aren't falling forward any longer. i voted democrat and i don't
5:08 pm
like the fact that i did. i don't like what i'm seeing. i don't want to hear about we are about... but then you go out and you pardon your son and you try to blame everybody else for it. i don't want to hear about deep on the police. i don't want to hear this stuff. i don't think most of the american people want to hear that. we are thinking about the state of affairs, we're not about america only about being about america and prioritizing what's going on in this nation with the disenfranchised and everybody else in between and looking out for the best interest of what it is for america. that is not a crime. >> i love republicans, he talked about the country. what are they say when donald trump walks out. they don't say g.o.p., they say usa. that's important. democrats inside of the party are adrift. this according to "the wall street journal". they've been having emotional
5:09 pm
breakdowns in private meetings over the election result. clashing over next steps and fatigued and frustrated base. that is so true. there's no leadership now at the highest level says one democrat. they are going through a rebrand and here's the challenge. they have to rebrand without mentioning the name trump or... and they admit it's not resistance to .0. it turns out putting country over party is always the best. >> what you most optimistic about with a trump presidency and what do you fear? >> i've been warning people. you have to chill out. the constant freak out. it's not helpful. pack a lunch. pace yourself because he hasn't even taken office yet.
5:10 pm
>> do you think he has the potential to be a successful and good president? >> i hope. i'm not rooting against him. if you are rooting against the president you are rooting against the nation. i'm not ever going to be where i want a president to fail. so country first. it's become a cliche but it happens to be truth. >> mr. president-elect if you are watching i would call him. find out what you can work to with him and without him. find out where the rubber hits the road because everybody else ignored him. maybe someone should start listening to him. they have a president who's been missing in action the most part for four years. there's not a leader or direction to be found at this juncture. here now, senator ron johnson. did i overstate anything in the
5:11 pm
open, when you talk to colleagues, do you know what direction they want to go in? >> first of all merry christmas to you. my guess is no. they just want power. i've gone to a lot of trump rallies and what i always try and tell everybody, the one quality, the one attribute that all those people have in common with president trump as they love this country. and you compare that with president obama right before he got elected. he said in five days we are going to transform america. do you even... and that is what the democratic party has done during obama's eight years and then during biden's four years. they tried to fundamentally transform america. open borders, the whole issue with trans. saying you decide your gender when you grow up.
5:12 pm
boys can compete with girls and sports. and they can invade their locker room and use their bathrooms. that is what the party has been pushing on americans who love this country, who have faith, that want to have strong communities, want to have strong families. that's not what the democratic party is anymore. he's completely realigned politics. the republican party represent the working man in america. who built this country, who love this country and the democrats are representing the elite and these woke ideas. >> so john fetterman is a democrat, he's not flipping parties but he says i want trump to be successful. do you think he's just saying that are do you think president trump should say call him up before he takes office and say how can we work together. we -- would be great to see democrats that would would be

open to ideas that would benefit them in the long run. >> he comes from a very swing state like wisconsin. he talks to the people of his state. he realizes most people in pennsylvania also love this country. they don't agree with all of this crazy woke that the democratic party suit -- party is pushing on them. as a result, the people want to see america succeed. they understand that america is a great country because americans are good people. we don't always get everything right but we have a great country here. we have got a lot of problems. democrats have put this country on a path of destruction. the weakness of america is demonstrate a globally. that's why the world is in flames. when america is weekend the world is in flames. you have to give him credit, he's talking to the people and he's listening to them and that's what americans wants. they want a unified nation. they love this country and want

they said she was a constituent, she was not. bipartisan senators were betting him for attorney general, worried about potential findings in this report and that's what torpedoed the bid to become the nation's top law enforcement officials. >> my fellow floridians... maybe special counsel to go after the insider trading for my former colleagues in congress. it seems i may not have had enough support in the united states senate. >> he admits his conduct was embarrassing but he denies breaking the law. the fbi concluded it's investigation earlier this year without charging him. many republicans including mike johnson wanted the report suppressed since he left office. that bother democrats. >> i'm glad that the committee ultimately voted to release it. >> what the report makes clear is that it is a violation of florida statutory rape law to have with a minor. he has violated those laws.
5:22 pm
>> he tried to block the report with a court injunction. he argued it would do irreversible harm to his reputation. >> we are less than a month away from donald trump to return to the white house and he's already busy laying out his america first agenda. did you watch the speech yesterday, it was great. the former president and future president had his sights set on bringing the panama canal under american ownership if the prices don't come down. insisting the u.s. has been getting ripped off for years. >> has anyone ever heard of the panama canal? because we are being ripped off at the panama canal like we are being ripped off everywhere else. united states is the number 1 user of the panama canal with over 72% of all transits heading to are from u.s. ports. we built it, we are the ones that use it. jimmy carter gave it away for
5:23 pm
one dollar. >> china's getting a special deal, we have to get to the bottom of that. the president is not too thrilled saying every square metre of the canal is panama's and will continue to be so. also saying the sovereignty and independence of the country is not negotiable. trumps plans don't end there. he also shared his renewed interest in the u.s. getting control of greenland. he says for purposes of national security and freedom throughout the world, the united states of america feels that the ownership and control of greenland is an absolute necessity. greenland's prime minister fired back saying the island is not for sale. trump isn't just laying out his foreign policy agenda, is also putting america on the right track at home. he plans to get women's out of men's sports and that the u.s. will only recognize male and female genders on day one of his administration. i can't believe i said that out loud. fall trump is enjoying strong
5:24 pm
approval ratings, the media is trying to drive a wedge between the two, calling him the shadow president but trump is already stopping that in its tracks. >> we will create the new department of government efficiency, headed by elon musk. no he's not taking the presidency. i like having smart people. they are on a new kick. russia russia russia, ukraine ukraine, all the different hoaxes. the new one is president trump has ceded the presidency to elon musk. no. that's not happening. he can speak, he wasn't born in this country. >> they said a few words in front of a crowd, getting congratulations on the remarkable victory and it was too big to rig even if there was something going on. you made sure that it was on the
5:25 pm
up and up so the country needed that. we have a lot to go over. first off on the panama canal, what bothers the president about the panama canal that he feels as though we are being ripped off. >> he feels that america is not being treated fairly and when you think about the conversations we've had with canada, mexico and everybody else, there is a very common theme. america is want to be treated fairly or we are going to have conversations with countries all around the world, with mexico and canada they've already started making changes. we want fair trade. we want strong borders and we want america to be recognized as the leader that we are around the free world and wear would you be treated fairly. >> panama says the water is low so we have to -- we have less ships going through so we have to charge you more. the prices are up by the billions at around 15% overall and that's what the president is talking about. there's rumours that china is
5:26 pm
getting a special deal. wise he interested in greenland? >> from a national security perspective as he said, certainly a place that is very rich in minerals and is geopolitically important for him. it's a conversation that we want to have with them about being able to use the resources up there. >> it's going to cost about 1.5 trillion but it probably will pay off. next, do you think that last week was as smooth as it could have been with musk tweeting out ... and then trump coming in 12 hours later and saying i can't sign off on this. it will cost us billions. >> elon musk has been a tremendous ally to president trump. i have spent a lot of time with both of those men. they both love america. they are both very smart and they both understand how to move
5:27 pm
the levers and how to move people in order to get what they need to get down. the conversation that we are having right now with congress, with the american people is tremendously important. elon musk knows better than anyone how to use social media as a platform and nobody does it better than donald trump. the relationship that those two men have is extremely important. i get the special relationship and we are very fortunate to have him as an advisor right now. >> does the president still believe that speaker johnson should be speaker johnson? >> last conversation i had we feel very good about where speaker johnson is. we want speaker johnson to succeed. we want the republicans to succeed. we need the republicans in the senate to succeed. this is an american agenda. it's not a republican agenda, it's not just a trump agenda, it's an american agenda. we want strong southern borders, we want to -- a restored economy. we are going to need to work
5:28 pm
with both the house and the senate to be able to get that done. >> we will see if they can stay with speaker johnson. thank you so much, appreciated. >> merry christmas brian. >> on migrant burns a sleeping woman to death on the subway. that shocking story and much more straight ahead.

5:31 pm
5:32 pm
5:33 pm
>> a sleeping woman was burned alive in a new york city subway yesterday morning. video shows the suspect exiting the train, sitting down on a bench and watching the victim burned to death. the suspect is 33-year-old... on guatemalan dodge my guatemalan illegal who snuck back into the country after he was deported in 2018. he's 1 of 60000 plus illegal immigrants who have been living in new york city on our dime on your tax dollar.
5:34 pm
this doesn't concern democrats like... who hours after tweeted about how safe the subways are. in march he said i took action to make our subways safer for the millions of people who take the trains each day. and stippling the national guard to support the nypd and safety efforts, crime is going down, ridership is going up. do you believe this? we're not sure he's been up-to-date with what's going on on the subways but it's not good. you've got stabbings, robberies. people being lit on fire. innocent people. that's the reality of new york city. this governor is an embarrassment. policies have made new york a beacon for migrants. tom homan told me earlier enough is enough. >> shame on her. she supports actuary said it -- status in that state. she welcomed early -- illegal aliens to her state. she has a green light law.
5:35 pm
they can even work with local law enforcement. law enforcement can even share data with these people. shame on you. >> they are too busy passing the buck. >> ice was also unable to account for more than 32,000 unaccompanied kids who failed to appear in court from 2019 to 2023 according to the report we read. the incoming border czar tom homan says these children are being exploited and traffic. is that true? >> we certainly have received reports of children being traffic. even those as to who we know where they are, that is outside the responsibility of the department of home end security. >> former county prosecutor from new jersey joins us now. the illegal immigrant came out and said i don't remember doing it so his status right now, we
5:36 pm
have to pay for him to be in prison to get three meals a day and he will be brought through the normal eagle process. >> that's pretty much it. the victims and the victim herself deserves for him to spend the longest period of time humanly possible in the new york state penal system wear things aren't as happy and fuzzy and warm as they are out there on the streets of new york city. as a former head county prosecutor when i used to address these issues and some people wanted the murderer deported immediately, i'm like no. they go in and serve a maximum sentence. i will use the government invested money in that and then afterwards deport them. one less thing that you said that i because really important is the victimization. these people are coming here, they have little or no education. they don't have food, shelter. they don't have a job. they're coming across a porous border. there's no check to see what the

level of danger is. and it's not a shock that those people under no circumstances whether they are illegal or citizens are going to be inclined to commit horrific crimes like this. i tried these cases and it's not pretty. it's about as brutal as it gets. >> luigi mangione, some people don't ask -- understand the execution of a health care executive in broad daylight. they are laughing about it, cheering for him on "snl" and they are cheering for him now because they think he's a good-looking guy. yet he's a blatant murderer. he was smiling today in new york city courtroom. he was having a good time, dressing like his lawyer periods new york going to go first or the federal government going to go first in trying him? >> great question. i knew those charges were good to be coming and i knew the feds were going to charge. the only issue in my mind was law enforcement going to play well in the sandbox and use their resources smartly in terms
5:38 pm
of not being -- i want to have the case and replicates a part. the state is going to go first. that's what should happen. that the smart thing. the federal jurisdiction comes into cleanup. predicted that the federal government would be in here, there's the death penalty and that's when to be big for the defence to be confronting here. the more arrows you have in your quiver the more likely he's unable to dodge them and with respect to his attitude, first of all all that's doing is showing that he has no remorse, he did exactly what he intended to do and that's going to go to eliminating what may be mental health defences which will go nowhere. >> i'm not going to coach him. thank you so much, always great to have you on. >> good to be on. >> coming up straight ahead, we will talk about so much more. also on the special defence delay. we will take a look at that.

>> former president bill clinton was just admitted to a d.c. hospital. he said to have come down with a fever this afternoon. one source told "the new york post" the former president may have been just suffering from dehydration. the situation is not urgent and the former president is awake and alert. he's hoping to be back home by christmas. we will keep you updated on anything obviously. it's been nearly three years since vladimir putin invaded ukraine and assigns have not
5:45 pm
slowed their attacks one bit. last night ukraine launched a drone strike that targeted a major fuel facility in western russia. at more than 3000 north korean soldiers fighting for vladimir putin have been killed or wounded that according to the authorities now tonight. even though neither country seems to be winding down their attacks or strikes, there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel now that donald trump is about to take power. trump says if vladimir putin wants a meeting. >> he said that he wants to meet with me as soon as possible. so we have to wait for this. we have to end that war. it's a horrible. >> president zelenskyy says he's open to peace talks as well. trump has an opportunity to end this conflict while also securing america's best interest in the region. putin wants as much as ukraine is possible. for ukraine they want to keep their natural resources and truly have border security that was promised to them back in
5:46 pm
1991. fox news senior strategic analyst and retired four-star general... when president trump takes over january 20th, how close are both sides to actually meeting with the former president and future president? >> i think everybody wants peace here. zelenskyy, he didn't want a russian invasion in 22 and in 23 he would rather that war to end. he would like to end now. putin has been the hard -- hard case here until just recently. he hasn't been willing to negotiate. the reality is yes, i think president trump is a catalyst here and i think he is bringing putin into this. i think what will actually happen here is he will work his disinformation campaign with the president. they will likely have a conversation after inauguration.
5:47 pm
but president trump is very much aware of what is happening here. he knows that putin robbed ukrainians of their freedom and independence. he knows he's a thug and a killer. he knows he's going to try to manipulate him. the reality is a couple of things. one is the facts. the facts are that putin has violated every cease-fire are peace agreement he's ever been involved in. in syria and also in ukraine since the agreement in 2014. he will look at a cease-fire and a peace agreement as a temporary pause so that china, iran, north korea can continue to arm him. he can recover his industrial base which is in the tank now. he's losing 100 to 150 tanks a month. he's taken 30,000 casualties a month.
5:48 pm
he's only gone 40 kilometres in this offensive operation. so this progress that he's making is usually an exaggerated and it's a false narrative. ukraine has major problems. they cannot retake any consequential major territory. they did capture the kursk area and likely they are going to use that as leverage to get back to some of their territory. but we have to understand where putin really is. this is a temporary thing for him and what does he want to do? at the right time, when he's armed and he's ready to go and likely president trump is no longer president, he will go for ukraine and try to topple that regime and put some wanted to take zelenskyy's place. that is where he has. we have to go into those negotiations understanding just those facts. >> we have to do something -- we have to put a missile defence
5:49 pm
systems are armed guards or u.n. force somewhere on the border so there will be a tripwire if he'd is as nondependable as you described. >> we can do a lot more than that. the fact is the major issue that zelenskyy will have after territory is his future security. that's why he would like nato to at least offer him membership. maybe not even a timeline. the reality is putin's going to rearm with china, russia and north korea and we should up gun ukraine. let's build an air force around the f-16. let's give them the air defence systems to protect all their cities with other countries assisting in all of that. let's not charge a taxpayer dollar for any of it. russian frozen assets, collateral loans against the
5:50 pm
$26 trillion of minerals that ukraine has. let's bring in nato brigades to work with ukraine and send ukraine to nato brigades. ukraine is now the second most powerful military in europe. there is much we can do to outgun them and deter putin from future aggression. we just have to commit to it and recognize how vulnerable ukraine will be as he continues to arm and we don't do the same for ukraine. >> it's trust and then arm ukraine. general, make it too painful to again. always great. have a fantastic christmas, thank you for your time tonight. >> merry christmas to you and the team, thank you. >> now this, denzel washington loses hollywood and finds god. that story next.
