just before the election the think tank data for progress surveyed a month's worth of poll respondents. that's more than 13,000 voters. to see how closely they paid attention to political news. this sample group of voters basically matched the overall result of the election favouring donald trump over kamala harris, which is how it turned out. but data for progress also singled out respondents who said they consume a great deal of political news. that group of voters broke for kamala harris by a 6-point margin. and among voters who said they consume zero political news, none at all, donald trump took a 19-point advantage. >> conclusion can, you can draw from that data, is that the less attention americans paid to the news the likelier they were to be big trump supporters. >> just can't get enough. it's like cat nip of calling america stupid. and there, by the way, still is a fair bit of resistance brewing in d.c. obama's old landlord is now asking congress to "do the right

capability of what these things can do. i know it's a foreign concept to think our government doesn't understand what's going on because we're such a powerful country can. bull sorry to tell you, will, they don't know. because we no longer dominate the world in drone technology. we used to own this space. the reality is these new jersey drone sightings are showing just how vulnerable we really are. the technology does exist to track this, but the reason the u.s. government doesn't have answers for you is because they don't really have this widespread system to detect, deter and mitigate drones properly across our stills. and they act like they've got it handled but they don't. we've been telling senior leaders in the faa, the fbi, the dhs that this is going to be a problem for years, but it's gotta change before we have a catastrophic attack on our own soil. >> okay. two different topics. i think. i think. two didn't topics. ufo's and drones. i know you're an expert on this, brett. we've had great conversations on this. i have been reluctant to buy what you just told us, in that i've been reluctant to buy they

don't know what's going on with these drones. i can't fathom that to be the case. they don't know where they're coming from. they can't identify them. tell me if i'm wrong, but i'm saying we're doing something, we're searching for something. we're doing something with our own drones over new jersey. there's just no way the united states government is at a loss. >> well, look, we talk about this in the fox nation special close encounters of the drone kind. i invite everyone to watch that. we talk a little bit more about that. i've tested drones for years with the u.s. government. all right, i was involved in a lot of different secret testing. and every single time we notified somebody at the law enforcement level down to the local law enforcement. and the fact is, no one seems to know what is going on. and that's very telling. and so that's why i don't think it is military testing taking place. because at this point, what's the incentive of them continuing to hide that? all they need to do is say, look, we are testing in this area. and that's it. they don't need to explain
5:50 pm
exactly what they're testing for. there's a reason we test missiles and planes and drones out there in area 51. because it out in the middle of know where. it's not going to disturb the populous. >> or they're looking for something. >> it's military testing possibly. >> what this looking for something on the ground and they don't want to tell local authorities because they don't want to scare everyone in new jersey. >> look, i mean, drones can do of a lot of thingsem it not just about high powered cameras. you have all different kinds of sensors. you cantest stuff, collect people's cellphones or i.p. addresses and all these fancy things with drone technology. but this recent theory about how they're working to detect some lost nuke or some bomb that's been missing, it just a little absurd based on some of the stuff that i know. and i know this industry extremely well. there's zero incentive for them to continue hiding it t problem is they weren't transparent in the first place, so no one's going to believe the government no matter what they say. that's the larger issue. they've destroyed the credibility of the american people. and so there's -- no one's gonna believe them, even if it's the

truth. and we have to get that back and fix that and build trust back within our government. and they have to start talking about what's up in the air. because we have some serious threats that we're going to be facing, especially what's occurring overseas. there are thousands of lethal military-style drones that are flying around, and we're gonna start seeing more of that unfortunately across our domestic air space if we're not careful. >> all right. i gotta go, brett, but i can't leave the other part of this just hanging real quick. so then there's the ufo's or whatever we call them now. something else now. but it almost a separate conversation, i think, than the drones. and you see all these reports coming out. we just covered a new one. what do you make of the ufo? >> look, i'm so pragmatic and realistic about it. i mean, to sail that there's some secret government agency that for decades has been covering up evidence of aliens and hiding ufo's, it just seems a little farfetched to me. i don't think our current administration is smart enough to do that and the sources for all this stuff, there's always some whistle blower too afraid

to talk about it. nobody sends me real photos of these things. i never see a proper photo, so it just a little absurd. but i'm just as curious as the rest of us. i want to know what's up there and i like to believe there's some form of life out there. >> all right. thanks so much for being with us tonight. >> thanks, will. >> all right. bernie sanders and rfk junior. that movement, next. that movement, next. narrator: for generations, this ally to the north has been by your side. ontario, canada, a partner connected by shared history, shared values, and a shared vision for what we can achieve together. stable and secure, when the world around us isn't. you can rely on ontario for energy to power your growing economy and for the critical minerals crucial to new technologies. ontario is your third-largest trading partner and the number one export destination for 17 states. our long-standing economic partnership
