to some change. in this case the brooklyn d.a. pushing back. who has the case? where will this ultimately go? >> my guess is it stays in state court. i think what's really important about what eric adams is saying is basically saying i do not have confidence in the state officials to keep new yorkers safe anymore. you see it time and time again it's not just this case. but state officials pushing these sanctuary policies will they prefer making a political statement on public safety or the citizens. i know this isn't calvin bragg's case it's a brooklyn d.a. case we look at the case where it's purely a particle statement. you look at the donald trump case, we look at the century city laws were this person if they are enforcing the laws and ice was also enforcing their laws under secretary mayorkas he should have been arrested for illegal reentry and deported. but neither one of them had any interest in enforcing the laws.

and therefore this horrible incident happened. ultimately what is it go? i do not know. another interesting irony is the federal law here is potentially death dependent eligible offense considering joe biden earlier this week commuted the sentence of 37 death row inmates. so, a lot of things are at play inintersection with this case. rich: what sort of messages mayor adam's ending is it the message of the criminals on the streets' openness to working with the feds particular in this case and potentially others? or a message to the brooklyn district attorney for instance? >> i think it's more of a message at a brooklyn district attorney alvin bragg and all these other people that are purely pushing politics and a public safety. i think the message is to the state is it's time to star of our citizens these political interest doesn't want to signal he wants to work
