>> kayleigh: i'm kayleigh mcenany and this is a special edition of "the ingraham angle." we have a lot to get to but first we have a fox news alert. bombshell "the washington post" report provides new details office. his belief trump should have been prosecuted more quickly and his delusional musings to others that he could have actually defeated trump. think about that. according to the post reporting two dozen people close to biden. biden has taken to acknowledging some strategic mistakes, both big and small in recent days. but that's not what biden has been saying publicly. any other regrets that you have? anything you wish you would have done differently? >> well, i guess if i thought a lot about it, there would be something that i regret. specifically. but not generically. i set out to do two things. restore america's leadership in the world. i think we have done that and,

two, to generate opportunity for ordinary people to have a shot in the economy. i think we have done that as well. >> kayleigh: no regrets. well, how about afghanistan which left 13 dead -- 13 heroes at the abbey gate? what about a lawless southern border that killed american daughters and mother of five? inflation which devastated millions of americans? well, according to those close to biden, the lame duck president does have regrets but they are not the aforementioned american nightmares. biden's regrets reportedly include not putting hits name on pandemic era checks that went out. his fledgling june debate performance against president trump. and listen to this not prosecuting trump quickly enough that's according to "the washington post." get, in private biden has also said he should have picked someone other than merrick garland as attorney general. complaining about the justice

department's slowness under garland in prosecuting trump and aggressiveness in prosecuting biden's son hunter according to multiple people familiar with his comments. >> have you been briefed sir on the top secret documents that were found at mar-a-lago? >> no. >> were you notified of the fbi's execution of a search warrant at mar-a-lago not ahead of time. >> do you notice i have never once, not one single time suggested to the justice department what she should do or not do whether to bring any charge or not bringing a charge. i'm honest. >> kayleigh: the post goes so far as democrats who tie the desire for prosecution to a political desire of defeating trump, quote: had the justice department moved faster to prosecute trump for allegedly seeking to overturn the 2020 election, and mishandling

classified documents, they say that the former president might have faced a politically damaging trial before the election. so the department of justice should have insured the defeat of donald trump. because that's exactly how the justice system should work. "the washington post" also revealed a special level of delusion in biden world, quote: biden and some of his aides still believe that he should have stayed in the race. biden and these aides have told people in recent days that he could have defeated donald trump. hmmm let's look at the facts here. the real clear politics polling national average shows trump have defeated biden about 3.1% that would have been the margin. that's more than double the margin that trump defeated harris by. and for the record, in his race against harris, trump won the popular vote, the first republican to do so in 20 years. trump also had the largest popular vote count in raw numbers of any republican ever.

but, sure, a clearly diminished joe biden could have defeated donald trump joining us now is victor davis hanson senior fellow at the hoover institution. victor, i pulled this passage out specifically for you from "the washington post. because i thought you would have a reaction. biden's aides they say in the "the washington post" in praising his tenure often contend that history will remember him kindly. some biden allies point to a recent survey and historian that biden ranked the 14th best president in history while putting trump last it is trump not biden preparing for second inauguration on january 20th. he wanted to be fdr. will history remember biden kindly, victor? >> no, it's going to be just the opposite. is he very delusional. he feels that in all the areas he failed on the border, on the economy, on crime on afghanistan and the middle east if he had doubled down on those failures

they might have succeeded. that is delusional. his problem is really does believe because hillary clinton and kamala harris lost to donald trump and he won once, largely because of radical changes in the voting from 70% on election day to 70% mail-in on most states, he feels that therefore he could have won again. and there is no data to support that so he is just delusional. it's kind of sad. he doesn't realize, kayleigh, the original bargain how he got nominated. he was a surrogate, wax effigy for the obama people and the others and left wing of that party to serve as a veneer. when he could go no longer do that they deposed him. but they deposed him in the same manner they appointed him by fiat. he lived by the nomination sword and he died by the depose sal sword. he doesn't understand what his

role was. they finally said you nor longer useful to us you can't disguise our radical marxist agenda so we don't need you anymore, bye. >> kayleigh: to this reporting of merrick garland biden wanted prosecuted more quickly. it recalled to my mind the "new york times" report from the spring of 2023 and it was this passage that was buried in a "new york times" report, of course not the headline, it's this. in the past biden privately told his closer advisers that mr. trump posed a threat to democracy and should be prosecuted for his role of events january 6th. he wanted attorney general merrick garland to stop acting like a ponderous judge and take decisive action. that was two years ago. now we learn that that reporting

was in fact true. where was the press following up on this? was there ever an independent doj? >> no. i mean, that is even more surreal. because he is angry at merrick garland because the courts and the juries and the process could not convicted donald trump. not that they didn't try. merrick garland was the most weaponized attorney general in modern memory. remember, fani willis' paramour, nathan wade met with the white house council to coordinate georgia indictment. merrick garland's number three attorney went to work for alvin bragg. and he did so on the same day that jack smith was appointed special counsel and he, mr. colangelo also worked for letitia james there was a coordination with all of these local, stated, and federal prosecutions that originated with the doj. reed huffman the big biden donor. he bank rolled the dedickless e. jean carroll civil suit against donald trump and that ridiculous

being examined. last week, on christmas day, airplane heading from russia expexploded in afghanistan 38 people died. russia first claimed it was a bird strike that brought that plane down. u.s. officials and others say it was likely russian air defenses mistaking the plane for ukrainian drone. this past summer saw another 08 people die in crashes around the world including asia's mountainous nepal and sao paulo brazil, other incidents bouts of skier air turbulence and plane collisions on the ground. kayleigh, as you noted the dead deadliest recent year for air travel was 2018. that's when 500 people died. last year, the air fatalities were zero. in fact, overall, experts say the trend is towards greater, better aviation safety. 2024 will be seen as a an outlier. let's hope, kayleigh.

for democrats in florida may take 25 years, will actual solution is slow, long term and sucks she says. i mean she is not wrong. you have donald trump who won in miami-dade, first republican to do so since 1988, he won hillsborough county, first republican to do so since 2008, osceola county. is this a 25 year project for your former party and can they do it? >> >> i think if the party continues their narrative of a lack of self-reflection and a constant blaming the american people for their losses, look, i'm a trial lawyer. i have been trying cases for over 20 years. when you give a case to a jury and you lose. the answer isn't the jury's fault, you have got take a look at what your case was and what your presentation was and the democratic party doesn't wish to do that. there is an absolute lack of self-reflection and willingness to look deep into the party's problems to figure out why the american people are not

resonating with their message. so, until they -- the leadership steps up and looks internally, and makes some really difficult decisions about the platform that they are presenting to the american people, i think 25 -- 25 years is a wish list. >> kayleigh: representative, welcome to the republican party that is extraordinarily well-said, thank you. democrats want you to believe that new york city subways are safe but reality paints a far different picture. just last night, two passengers were slashed while riding the subway in separate incidents and days before christmas, you will remember, this a woman passenger was killed in a gruesome attack after she was set on fire. it was horrifying. the crime has gotten so bad that guardian angels a group founded 45 years ago to protect train passengers has announced their return to the subway. >> we have always been there for the people. we don't get paid. it's a volunteer organization.

but i first started the patrols in 1979. you would see one transit police officer in the rear. his or her job was to patrol the whole train from beginning to end. that was their beat. they never, never ride the trains anymore. they are on the platforms, in the turn styles, they are doing their job. there are just not enough police. >> kayleigh: joining me now is paul mauro former nypd inspector general and fox news contributor. paul, is crime as bad today as it was in the 1970s and 80's in new york, so bad that we now need private citizens patrolling subway cars? >> you would like to think not and you can always gaslight the public with numbers. but the bottom line is we are in a situation these days where the vast majority crimes, especially property crimes they don't even get reported. well over 60% of property crimes don't get reported and there is numbers that show that is even the case for violent crime. look, we are at over 20-year high in murders in the subways.

and i can tell you as somebody who is on the subway all the time. i have never had such an air of menace and unpredictability surround me. i'm not just talking about incidents we saw in daniel penny's situation. but every time you take the subway now, you come out of it saying it's a rolling psych ward. and that's not an accident. the reason for that is that our d.a.s have chosen not to prosecute the crime of theft of service. lost $750 million last year to fair beaters. not only should somebody like the person you are talking about who lit the woman on fire, not only should he have not been in the country. he shouldn't have been in a new york city subway. career substance abuser. is he living in a migrant center that we're supporting and paying for his habits. all of which were bad. but the real rub here is that he just walks onto the subway along with so many other people who are either marginal or hearing voices and as a result the

public suffers paul, that incident i can't get out of my mind. people in my community can't stop talking about horrifying incident. i want to know more about this woman. i want to know more about these details. a lot of people are asking why don't we know the identity of this victim just yet? you have been with nypd. you know what is going on. tell us what police work is going on behind the scenes. >> well, they can't id her. and that's just the truth. they are trying very, very hard. they know the public wants to know. this apparently she was homeless herself and, again, it just so many homeless on the subways these days. some cars are essentially given over to the homeless. you will get on the car and realize can't get on this car because there is five, six, seven homeless on it. apparently she was homeless as well. of course had she had family you would have been hearing that from them. we would be hearing who she is by now. my understanding they are trying everything they can dental records, facial reconstruction, so far coming up empty. it's the kind of thing that made national news. it's not the kind of thing new

really realize how serious it was until i woke up from the procedure. >> kayleigh: wow, clementine my heart goes out to you and your story you are so bold and courageous for bringing this story to light. what happened. the testosterone you took at 12 years old did it help you or were you in a better place or worse off? >> so, for me personally, when i started taking testosterone, i sort of started feeling more anxiety than i had ever felt in my entire life. but it wasn't until after my surgery when my dose of testosterone was upped that i started experiencing psychosis and full audio and visual hallucinations which were somewhat linked to the high dosage, which once i went off the dosage all these symptoms stopped. but, all of that was considered totally irrelevant and i was encouraged to keep going on testosterone. >> kayleigh: as i understand, you communicated some challenges

you had as a child to a therapist. and then your therapist spoke with your parents and referred you to this clinic. and you go to this clinic. and i'm wondering at any point in this decision-making to make life changing permanent decisions, did anyone say let's talk to a therapist first? let's really explore your feelings and your thoughts? was that ever suggested? >> that was. and i did see a therapist and the only thing that therapist did was affirm my beliefs that i was inherently supposed to be a boy because i didn't like being a girl. and the therapist only ever affirmed my ideas and talked about very surface level stereo typical ideas of gender with me. >> kayleigh: clementine, you are bold, you are courageous. i read your story in the "wall street journal." i read your story in the economist. and you are really making a difference. clementine, thank you for speaking out and being here tonight and sharing this personal decision. you are a real hero for doing so. >> thank you for having me. thank you so much.
