to taylor swift and you have a strong opinion on her and you are a middle-aged man you should not be allowed near a school yard. >> tom: that is true. guy, 39% of democrats approved of celebrities sounding off on political opinions does that number surprise you? >> it seems low. >> tom: you think there is more? >> i think people like to have others agree with them. that is human nature. if there were more celebrity conservatives i think the republicans would be more approving. like we hate celebrities getting into politics. but did you see how coke and at the convention when he took his shirt off? that is awesome. we are so starved on the right for anybody even approaching celebrity do not hate us we will high five like did you see the assistant coach from high school musical liked are treated by milani? and we are like wow. we get excited for it. i think part of this is republicans are saying we don't care about your opinion because

we know it is the opposite opinion. >> tom: jamie, do you think you're ex-wife would have stayed with you if you were a celebrity? >> no. sorry, i jumped in early of that. i cannot think of any words that would make me say yes. i think people don't want to hear political opinions from celebrities i love coming on the show that is like in my career i have always avoided. so i can speak freely. you know what i have a problem? and by the way i don't appreciate joe think i should not be allowed near a school yard. the court was very clear on that. and then my ankle buzzed and it is like a warning. my problem is also with the whole acting. i think part of a beautiful thing about watching the movie is getting immersed and somebody being in this role. i think when somebody introduces their politics it takes you out of the art of acting in my opinion. like i'm supposed to hear george looney say i support kamala harris -- kamala terrace
7:48 pm
and then i'm supposed to watch a movie and believe a gorgeous woman still wants to [bleep] him? >> tom: is it changing? you mentioned how kogan, james would, people tweeting, james woods had a picture of a party. james collins was there all of the other people. lee majors was texting he was watching the show. celebrities they used to stay in the closet if they were on the right are they now come and go to more? are they showing that side of them, kennedy? >> or you asking me if there are more gay republicans a? >> tom: one? no. >> i love gay republicans is so much i married one. >> tom: i think it is game over. this cultural thing of the left only gulley probably what i think it is over or you with me? [applause] up next does more time behind the wheel reflect how he feels
