tomorrow but beyond the speaker will discuss some things. a lot of things we have great. i'm positive positively planning for mike johnson. i agree with ronny jackson i will vote for mike johnson and i think it will be wrapped up quickly. >> remember mike johnson has the biggest endorsement at all from president-elect trump, who is calling on this to be taken care of quickly. we also got the endorsement marjorie greene taylor who last year tried to oust him. he is writing into this with momentum that we have a bunch of undecided that will not say how they will vote until the vote actually begins. >> lawrence: so, i'm getting the sense most undecided around the freedom caucus, right? >> they are. these are hard liner conservatives. people who have bigs and you don't have to call it big ask that people who want a good budget. they want appropriation bills to

come back, regular order. this is an ask, lawrence, we hear every single time. it was an ask of michael mccarthy and the problem is these promises are never filled. we don't see regular order but we see crs over and over again which we will have to face again in a couple of months. >> brian: quick question, did the republicans realize how embarrassing it was when they went through those five rounds and how humiliating it was for the country and embarrassing globally we could not speak pick a speaker for those five weeks? these are the same people holding out last time. >> remember the first time kevin mccarthy at the was frozen five days and then again for three weeks and around that time, that is when israel was attacked by hamas. there were things happening

bill through committee and regular order? something would be rewarded with the senate when you have the majority. could you see after march going through a regular order? >> i hope so for this next budget year. but the problem has been the senate because we passed a number of appropriation bills and today, the last congress passed zero, zero! so the problem is there. it is why we use this process called reconciliation so you don't have to deal with chuck schumer and the democrats in the senate but you can do it with republicans. that is the mandate people sat november 5th. but it's what we have to focus on and whether to reconciliation boats or one, i am indifferent to the tactics. all i know lead us get it done asap because that is what the american people told us to do on november 5th. >> brian: democrats go to bed do republicans understand the freedom caucus and charter member and do they understand

team has a lot of things working. this off season prepping for a new season. we're ready to get back on the racetrack. our season is long but the off season can seem short but it seems like after two or three weeks you are ready to get back to the track. >> lawrence: how do you improve as a driver? i look at people on the road, either you are a good driver or you're not. they don't get better. as a professional, what do you do to strengthen your skills. >> i've been racing since i was five years old and been in a race car every week since then. in the off season we do a lot of simulator testing over at gm's technical center and going through different setups and working on my feedback and talking to my guys about that. we can change up our driving style. something you didn't have a lot of for a long time. now we have a ton of information

to look at and continue to hone your craft. >> we're talking about i'm team ford and team chevy. you have done so much on and off the track. talk about what it means to you. welcomed a new baby boy this year. congratulations to you and your wife, madison. what does the bigger picture mean to you as the head to the 2025 season? >> for me i've been doing the sport of nascar racing for a long time now and it's cool to have our son stetson taking him to the racetrack. he missed our big talladega win. looking forward to get him in victory lane this year. he watches fox news every morning. >> lawrence: start them young. >> we're starting them young. we're here in new york for the pbr event with our energy drink family. we come here, get to see the christmas lights after christmas a little bit less busy of the city. that's always fun.
