podcast and joins us now. thank you so much for being here. start at the beginning not at the beginning of creation just the twinning of the creation of your podcast. how did this all come about? >> great question. thanks for having me. you know, maybe many of you or your viewers have heard of rosary in a year done by extension rosary in a year by father mike schmitz. at the end of the year i put together videoed rosary in a year reflecting on my own experience with rosary and prayer. and maybe, you know, what i wish i would have been offered when i was first learning the rosary in prayer. so it's kind of taken from that experience and offering it to all of our listeners just a little kind of introductory course and of course the growing relationship with our lord. >> carley: this is just wonderful. big congratulations on the success of this podcast. this is an example of the increase in popularity of christian content. so, why do you think that is, why more people are drawn to christian content and why your podcast debuted at number one?

>> yeah. i think the faith is alive. people believe. people want to grow in their relationship with god. that is just very, very evident. i also think that people are aware. you know, there is a lot of discouraging news. there is a lot of reasons out there to kind of get a little bit concerned about what's going on and i think that there is this -- an awareness of con conscious or not god. we can't control everything but we can come to the lord and experience grace in his life his enencouragement. this is going to be a source of grace for the whole world. >> todd: i want to focus on the rosary itself. i don't know what it was like when you were grew up. the rosary was only something that my little old eye toolian grandmother did. it wasn't we ever did in church. wasn't something we did in ccd, our cataclysm classes, why are people now of all ages praying

the rotzry? >> yeah. and i think the rosary certainly is experiencing like a new springtime. it's coming back. and i think it's kind of a perfect human prayer. it's just so clear. it's so accessible. you can do it like six or eight years old they are teaching kids that if you can do it 80 or 90-year-old grandmother. it's just clear and so well formed and so human. i think it just resonates with everybody. and we're looking for guidance and the rosary is just a very clear guide on prayer. >> carley: when i was growing up touched by an angel and the 700 club which are great but now there is this podcast you have chosen, a passion of the christ sequel coming out later this year. and just in terms of the hollywood. that's where most people get their entertainment. denzel washington just became a minister. he said it took a while but i'm

finally here. if god can do this for me, there is nothing he can't do for you. the sky is the limit. isn't that a wonderful message to hear with somebody with a big voice like that? >> yeah. yeah. absolutely. we are seeing it, you know, more and more. and i think it's being more and more kind of acce acceptable tok about this. yeah, god is still very much alive. still very much effecting people's lives. we see hollywood movie stars who god is touching and also a lot of people not on camera who god is very much alive and at work in their lives. >> todd: we have been talking about bible sales increasing the last couple months. i wonder if 2025 is the year that religion, after years of kind of being pushed to the side makes a comeback. not only in our country but worldwide. i think it's something that would be great for our country and for our world and you, father mark-mary are doing your part.
