out cars, multimillion dollar homes at the foot of the pacific ocean, once a beautiful place to live now turned into a health gate, this fire brigade around 24000 acres currently around 11% containment. firefighters have been making progress on the area, the fire that made a run yesterday that fire of brentwood high end neighborhood luckily it appears that firefighters have been able to make a good effort and those containment lines, the big variable here is the santa ana winds, those expected to pick up tonight and into tomorrow. wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour potentially even 75 miles per hour in some areas. it could fan the flames even further. another threat to firefighters and they have been flying drones and images of the destruction but is been hampering firefighting efforts.

when cases super scooper had to land and damage by a drone that it ran into the fbi is investigating around 48 incidents of authorized drone use has inside the fire zones. folks in california, even though there's been progress in the fires, they're not breathing a sigh of relief because the santa ana winds will be kicking up, firefighters on edge trying to make as much progress before we see the winds kicked up and potentially more fires. anita: it is anita vogel, we are watching hoping that the fire doesn't jump the 405 freeway and spread into places like baller. were hoping that doesn't happen but i want to ask you where you're standing in malibu. were not talking too much about malibu, it is been decimated. i have friends who have lost their homes up the coastline drive, can you tell us what they're seen a malibu about the homes along pch and tell us what

you're seeing. >> those who know the area and the area around malibu. , that area is relatively inta intact. when you go more toward santa monica or pacific palisades down the pch where we stand right now that's where you see significant damage. let's give you a little bit of a picture of what that looks like right now will look interesting to monica down the coastline and you can see house after house essentially one house after another caught fire and it was a chain reaction like dominoes. fortunately some homes are still standing and is horrible to report not many are left. >> it is terrible, thank you for giving a birdseye view we so appreciated, stacy.
