11:00 pm
bruce from holladay, utah. jesse, could you have kept your cool with all those democrats screaming at you? stoicism. of course i could have. mike from las vegas hegseth is more general than warren is indian. jim from morgantown, indiana. i don't think michelle is proud of her country anymore. evelyn from warrenton, north carolina. maybe michelle doesn't know how to dance to the ymca. i've seen michelle dance, and i know she can dance. i'm just worried about why barack can't get her to come to dc. none of my business. i'm going to stay out of it. remember to dvr the show. that's all for tonight. and always remember, i'm watters and this is my world. welcome to hannity. a huge day
11:01 pm
on capitol hill. >> the very first confirmation hearing of the new trump era is now in the books. >> and the president elect's pick for defense secretary, our friend and former colleague, pete hegseth, did a phenomenal job. >> he dominated the room, made some senate democrats look foolish, petty, unprofessional, desperate. >> and he did it with dignity and grace. >> now, the same cannot be said for the minority party in the senate. >> as i predicted, i told you they would revert to form, revert to their default position, which is to smear, slander, besmirch, attack, and frankly, waste everybody's time. >> while they should have been asking questions about, let's see, hypersonic missile technology, the gap of vulnerability in our military, the next generation of warfare, future wars will be fought in air conditioned offices, not on battlefields. while they should have been concerned about donald trump's idea for an iron dome and military dominance,
11:02 pm
they were not. instead, these senators, they just attempted the predictable let's bork him, let's do to clarence, to pete what they did to clarence thomas. let's kavanaugh pete hegseth, identity politics. a woke military did their top concern. there were almost no questions about pete hegseth s qualifications. his real vision, his real achievements, nothing about his military deployments for the most part to iraq or afghanistan. you had several democratic senators screaming and shouting and putting on a show, all while pushing these personal attacks, but got to give the worst performance that belonged to virginia senator tim kaine, of all people. i found it actually comical, his line of questioning today. well, in one way it was creepy. it was beyond unprofessional, degrading, hypocritical. but not just to pete, his entire family. that was sad. that was the sad part of it. now, kaine
11:03 pm
evoked his young daughter and wife, even brought up his wedding vows. kaine's behavior today was disgraceful. beneath the office that he supposedly serves, but it was also so hypocritical. let's take a look at your screen, shall we? this was tim kaine. he was hillary clinton's running mate when they lost in 2016. and here is tim kaine. take a look right there, gazing lovingly into bill clinton's eyes. and here he is next to clinton with a creepy grin from ear to ear, you know, and a big thumbs up. did he ever ask bill clinton about the rape allegation of juanita broderick or bill clinton exposing himself to paula jones or his relationship with monica lewinsky, or the sexual assault allegations by kathleen willey? no, i don't think he ever did. he was perfectly fine, never bringing up real allegations of bill clinton rape, sexual assault, exposing himself, having sex
11:04 pm
with an intern. and frankly, the democrats pick the perfect guy to drown themselves in hypocrisy. in fact, just see if you can spot the difference between kaine's rhetoric surrounding clinton versus his questioning today. it's not easy to it's not hard to pick up. you'll like this. take a look. >> so you think you are completely cleared because you committed no crime? that's your definition of cleared. you had just fathered a child two months before by a woman that was not your wife. i am shocked that you would stand here and say you're completely cleared. >> something you said back in, i think, 2002, about former president bill clinton, that he should resign if the scandal, the lewinsky scandal, turned out to be true. you still hold true to those words you said back then. >> i had i had some feelings of disappointment back then. but, you know, that's now 20 years old. past controversies aren't that important to me now. >> yeah. i mean, do you think your feelings have changed? >> it was a feeling i had at the time. but now i'm thinking about what do we do to help
11:05 pm
this country be strong. and so the past controversies don't have anything to do with that question. >> tim kaine, loser. always has been, always will be. classless, self-important career politician with few actual real achievements. pete hegseth. he was serving in iraq and afghanistan and gitmo. tim kaine, he was running for office over and over and over again. he's the embodiment of everything that is wrong with the washington swamp. but he's not alone. today. many democratic senators, they disgrace themselves. at one point, elizabeth warren almost got laughed out of the room. take a look, will you? >> put your money where your mouth is and agree that when you leave this job, you will not work for the defense industry for ten years? >> senator, it's not even a question i've thought about, because it's not about right now. it's not one my motivation for this job. >> i understand that i just need a yes or no. come next time is short. i just need a
11:06 pm
yes or no. >> i would consult with the president about what the policy and other words. >> you're quite sure that every general who serves should not go directly into the defense industry for ten years, but you're not willing to make that same pledge. >> i'm not a general senator. >> you've got to admit that's such a waste of time, a colossal waste of time. senator gillibrand, new york also looking foolish today after accidentally exposing a real problem with the u.s. military caused by her party. take a look. >> the statements you said about people who have views differently than you that we're the enemy. are you saying that 50% of the dod, if they hold liberal views or leftist views, or are democrats, are not welcome in the military? are you saying that, senator, i volunteered to deploy to afghanistan under democrat president barack obama? >> i also volunteered to guard
11:07 pm
the inauguration of joe biden, but was denied the opportunity to serve because i was identified as an extremist by my own unit for a christian tattoo. >> oh, the vapors feign selective outrage as usual. to recap, democrats attack pete hegseth not for being a democrat. they attacked him for having a tattoo of a cross. he believes in jesus, and he mentioned his personal lord and savior. oh, the thought of it. they attacked him over his personal life, even suggested he was an alcoholic. why? he might have had drinks at social functions. like most people, no one on capitol hill would ever do that, right? because today. markwayne mullin. oh, look at this. that looks like a little bar, a little party. chucky's pulling out the beer. is that tim kaine and kirsten gillibrand? anyway, mullen exposed that incredible display of hypocrisy. take a look. >> the senator from virginia starts bringing up the fact that what if you showed up
11:08 pm
drunk to your job? how many senators have showed up drunk to vote at night? have any of you guys asked them to step down and resign from their job? and don't tell me you haven't seen it because i know you have. and then how many senators do you know have gotten a divorce before cheating on their wives? did you ask them to step down? no, but it's for show. you guys make sure you make a big show and point out the hypocrisy because the man's made a mistake, and you want to sit there and say that he's not qualified. give me a joke. i mean, it is so ridiculous that you guys hold yourself as this higher standard and you forget you got a big plank in your eye. >> check and mate. well done. the democratic party, they are filled with liars, hypocrites who will say and do anything for political power and above all else, that's all they care about. they just hate trump. they hate his nominees no matter what. the good news
11:09 pm
tonight, they did not lay a glove on pete hegseth. he should and absolutely will be confirmed. he has a lot of very critical work to get done. not that they talked about that today. on top of falling behind on military technology, our military recruitment numbers are in the dumps. pete will help in a major way. their die has weakened morale and it has hurt our military preparedness and readiness. shipbuilding falling behind china, eclipsing our production, what we call what reagan inherited. donald trump is inheriting a huge gap of vulnerability in our defense capabilities. our adversaries are more emboldened than ever. why do china and russia have hypersonic missile technology that is maneuverable and we don't? what other systems are we behind on? we better catch up. democrats didn't want to talk about any of that. they are bringing they're not bringing a single new idea to the table. our military was not a top priority for them today. their only goal was to smear
11:10 pm
pete hegseth and not ask him about his vision for the department of defense. sadly, just buckle up. expect this for every single trump nominee and expect them to fail every single time. pete hegseth, he's the right man for the job, should be confirmed as quickly as possible. here with reaction, incoming national security advisor. he gave a great, strong endorsement and introduction of pete. today, congressman mike waltz. i you know, it's we had a private conversation recently. we've been friends a long time. and in that private conversation, we spent maybe 15, 20 minutes on the on the phone. we were talking together. we talked more about the threats that this country is facing and the challenges that president trump is facing. the gap of vulnerability, hypersonic technology, the next generation of warfare more than they did in an entire day today. i mean,
11:11 pm
it was such a colossal waste of time to me. your thoughts? >> well, sean, you're absolutely right, especially on the waste of time when there are just such huge issues before the defense department and before the country. and i pointed out, you know, they've been having hearing after hearing in that very room the senate armed services committee, we do the same in the house armed services committee on the poor state of our barracks for our soldiers. should we privatize them? >> should the military keep running those things as government run our health care issues for the military? >> how to incorporate ai? why is software so bad? you mentioned shipbuilding. china is passing 400 ships. the u.s. navy is cruising towards half that number over the next five years and on and on. and those are tough questions. they're not easy answers. instead of
11:12 pm
asking about his vision, they just went for the smear. but let me tell you the good news. what you couldn't see on the cameras was the room full of warriors that had stacked that room and were standing outside, standing room, only there to support pete because they know he's a leader. they know he's one of us, and he is a junior officer that was on the front lines, not in the headquarters of these wars, on terror, of these wars in the middle east. and we were all out there as the policy just drifted, and how we got decades and decades of war that devastated the country financially and a whole generation of americans. he wants he is going to lead. they want him to lead. and it's the support of the troops that you could see in pete's heart. you could see the authenticity that i think really came out today in a hugely positive way, and just creamed the democrat smear campaign.
11:13 pm
>> okay, so i support elon musk and doge and vivek ramaswamy and their vision to cut $2 trillion in spending, i really do. i also know we need to save social security and medicare from insolvency. i also know that we have to find known terrorists, rapists, murderers, cartel members, gang members, and we have to deport all of them. i know that we have to end this gap of vulnerability and prepare for the next generation of warfare. that's all going to cost money. to me, the biggest source of revenue is going to be energy dominance. that is the only outlet we have. and we do have nearly $40 trillion in debt that we're going to have to pay back. >> yeah. that's right. well, everything that you just laid out, president trump has a has a vision to address. number one, this is why our allies have to step up from canada, who pledged to get to the bare minimum of 2% ten years ago.
11:14 pm
and trudeau has a plan to get there ten years from now. he's pointed out that's unacceptable. half of our nato allies are unacceptable. i just met with the japanese and they are going to meet their 2% minimum. but this is why our allies have to, you know, shoulder their fair share. number one. number two, the pentagon has got to spend more efficiently in one hearing. sean, i held up a bag of bolts. it's $90,000 for it to be dod certified. there are a couple hundred bucks in a hardware store. we. if you look at the business people that are going to be under pete, that are going to help him implement that, president trump and his team are putting in place, they are going to drive efficiency along with doge. and then i think we just need wholesale reforms on how technology is introduced into our military. it's okay to iterate, to innovate and to fail. we don't
11:15 pm
need 4 or 5 big defense contractors trying to reinvent the wheel on a ten year timeline. >> all right, mike walsh, you'll be you'll be at work in just a few days, and it can't be soon enough. we're so glad you got the position. pete knows. >> pete knows all these things. we're going to get them. we're going to get them confirmed, sean. and we're going to do big things for president trump and this country. >> conversations with him. i've had more substantive conversations with pete hegseth on issues that we discussed than than happened in that room today. it was a waste of time. thank you, congressman. we appreciate it. now, while democrats, while they were running a smear campaign all day on capitol hill, senator tim sheehy well, actually asked important questions about the department that hegseth has been picked to lead. take a look. >> how many genders are there? >> tough one. >> senator, there are two genders. >> i know that. well. >> i'm a sheehy, so i'm on board. >> how many rounds of five, five, six. can you fit into?
11:16 pm
the magazine of an m4 rifle? >> depends on the magazine, but standard issue is 30. senator. >> and what size round is the m9? beretta standard issue sidearm for the military fire a nine millimeter. senator, what kind of batteries do you put in your night vision? goggle? >> duracell. >> so right there you're representing qualifications that show you understand what the warfighter deals with every single day on the battlefield. you understand what happens on the front line where our troops will be. and what happens unfortunately, in this country is decisions made in rooms like this, bad decisions end up in dead 17, 18, 19 year old americans. and those americans rarely come from families that sit in rooms like this. >> all right. here with more senator tim sheehy. you know, senator, some of the allegations, like drinking, for example, there are numerous people that worked every single
11:17 pm
week with pete. the question about drinking was debunked by every single one of them. number one. number two, knowing him myself for as many years as i have, this man eats, breathes, sleeps, lives, military, the men and women in combat every single day. this is his life's passion. his mission. yeah. did he hit a rough road at one point in his life, what, nearly a decade ago? sure. he's been up front, honest. he's moved on. he checked that box. he changed his life. why wasn't there more substance today? >> well, we all knew it was coming, sean. this is what they did to clarence thomas. what they did to brett kavanaugh. they did it to me during my election. when they can't argue on policy or substance, when they know that they are wrong with what the american people want, this is what the democrats do. they resort to smear anonymous allegations, character assassination, because they know they can't talk about the disgrace of the afghan withdrawal. they can't talk about the disgraceful
11:18 pm
state of our military recruitment. we can't build enough ships, can't build enough planes. we haven't won a war in a long time. and our military spending three times more on dei initiatives now than we were four years ago. so they know that on policy, the u.s. department of defense is in tatters right now, and therefore, they couldn't spend two seconds talking about policy, and they decided to smear this, this young man who's going to do a great job. we support him. and that's why my questions were directed the way they were. i wanted to remind people what this job was really about. and it's supporting the war fighter and protecting america. >> it was it was one of the few moments, along with some other republicans of substance which was desperately needed. you know, they spent so much time on on issues involving identity politics and women in combat. okay, that's a fair issue. and he answered it. they didn't need to go back again and again and again. his answer was, yes, i support women in combat, but the standards have to be the same. you don't lower standards. we had that la
11:19 pm
firefighter, you know, saying, well, if a guy stuck in a fire, it's too bad he's in the wrong place. if i have to go pull him out, that's not a good answer. >> well, i made a very wise life decision like pete did. and i married up and my wife was a marine corps officer. i'm lucky. she spends every day with me, and she's a combat veteran of afghanistan. and she'll be the first one to tell you that not only can she do more pull ups than i can, but she would never want to be held to a different standard than any other marine that she served with. and pete, just like i have no problem with women in uniform, we need them and they're great warriors, but we cannot create multiple standards that create a denigration of our ability to fight and win wars. and that is exactly what we've seen under lloyd austin and joe biden's military is they've put combat lethality in the back seat, and they've instead decided to do social engineering with our military. the results speak for themselves. recruiting is at an all time low. readiness of our aircraft and ships is at an all time low. and guess what? we
11:20 pm
had the greatest military failure in afghanistan in a generation. so we need a new generation of leaders across the board, but especially in this department. and we need somebody like pete who's going to be a disrupter. he's going to be a fighter, and he's going to look at things outside the box. we've been thinking inside the box, sean, for way too long. and look where it's gotten us. >> senator, will he be confirmed? >> i believe he will. you know, we haven't voted yet, but i think he's got the support he needs and he's got my support. >> all right. you're doing a great job. i thought you were very substantive today, and we needed it. in light of everything else going on in that room. we appreciate your time. thank you. joining us now, fox news contributor joey jones is with us. joey, what was your reaction to everything today? pete, a friend of both of ours. >> yeah, i think pete probably exercised more restraint than i could have, especially with tim kaine and even tammy duckworth. i mean, she is so self-righteous. i mean, i hate that she lost her legs. >> i know something about that. >> but. >> but you can sit up there and talk about how this military should be conducted without the
11:21 pm
attacks that they that they levied. >> and, you know, you look at senator warren gets on him about this ten year deal. i kind of want to explain to the audience the reason why they do that. they're playing games. and pete was a step ahead because if pete had said and he may very likely want to pledge to not go into the defense industry after ten years. but if he says that they're going to use that, democrats are with every single nominee after him. so it's a catch 22. and so some of those questions he didn't answer, especially the hypotheticals, because they're not just going to use them against him. they're going to use it to box into a corner every trump nominee. and so the games they played today were unbecoming of the office of senator when it comes to trying to defend our country. >> yeah. well, you know, for all the people that actually have served, i think they're the people that kind of know about the rank and file. i really would like to get military preparedness to the level we need it at. i'd like to see recruitment change, and i'd like to die. and i'd like the woke military to die a
11:22 pm
quick death. will that happen? >> yeah, i think it will. i think i've spoken to roughly 30 prior marine soldiers, some that work in the pentagon, some are general officers. the majority of our military is just dying for this to go away. a lot of them have left because it wouldn't. and i want to i want to explain something. i believe it was gillibrand that had the interaction. she said, well, those quotas don't exist. well, they don't exist on paper. but if you were the person that felled a female in a physical fitness test and you were a male, don't think you weren't brought into an office and questioned, hey, why did you do that? >> did you do that because she's a woman? did you do that because you didn't want her in infantry, did you? why didn't you? because when you do in the marine corps, when you do a pull up test, it's subjective. they say, okay, was that a pull up or wasn't it? they may count your fifth pull up three times before they go to number six, because you're not going down far enough. and so this idea that these service members have come to pete and told him, listen, we can't perform this
11:23 pm
way because if we fail them, even though it's even though it's objectively true, we're going to be in trouble. that's the kind of thing that needs to go away. >> and by the way, joe, you're a hero too. here's my prediction. i would say recruitment will go way up and i will have a quick death under donald trump and pete. hey, seth, there's my prediction. take it to the bank. all right. coming up the left sinking to new lows ahead of donald trump's inauguration, including petty behavior from kamala harris and her office. elisabeth hasselbeck reacts to the lunatics on that hit show. the view straight ahead. >> a single touch can say a thousand words, it says, i see you, i feel you. i got you, and i'm never letting go. >> ever. say it all with

irresistibly touchable skin. get in touch, gold bond. >> get the life back. okay. go get. he's breathing. >> okay. when i saw that ethan was not breathing, i determined that i needed to use something to remove the obstruction from his airway. >> it's very important for every household to have a life vest. >> everyone should have one in their home. anything can happen at any moment. >> i want my friends and family and people that i serve to know that we have this device to potentially save lives, protect your family. go to life net. >> go to life net or call 877 lifevac. >> i am embarrassed to say this, but i've been using deodorant on my armpits for the past 40 years. and yet, anytime i noticed odor anywhere else, i thought i needed a second shower. i wasn't clean or there was something wrong with me. and then my gynecologist told me about lumi. it's a whole body deodorant for pits, feet and privates that controls odor anywhere and everywhere on your body. i tried it and i noticed a difference right away. everywhere. you won't realize the body odor you've just been

your newfound flexibility with stamps.com. start your risk free trial today. >> all right. you remember michelle obama saying, when they go low, we go high. probably you remember. anyway, apparently those days are officially over. michelle obama is not going to donald trump's
11:28 pm
inauguration. and by the way, neither are several house democrats, including aoc, congresswoman omar, congresswoman pressley, steve cohen and many others. looks like they are adopting the attitude of obama wingman eric holder, which is they go low. we kick them anyway. also tonight, vice president elect jd vance and his wife are the parents. they have three young children under the age of eight. they will be moving into the naval observatory soon. they wanted to know how to make it safe for their children. so they reportedly reached out to kamala harris's office. apparently, a harris staffer simply refused to answer their questions. the vances had to rely on the permanent navy staffers who run the residence to get the answers they needed. kamala, like joe, is extremely bitter going out the door. they have both been trying to sabotage the incoming administration. it won't work. the left wing hate has even
11:29 pm
come after carrie underwood, who doesn't like carrie underwood? who wants to politicize her? she's going to be performing america the beautiful. they talk a lot about unity, don't they? on the left. well, they don't mean it. during trump's inauguration ceremony. also, rascal flatts will be there. the village people will be there. it's going to be a lot of fun. well, here's what the ladies of that hard hitting new show on abc disney had to say about that. take a listen. >> so she's overnight going to become an icon of maga and the american, right? she's probably going to make a lot of money off of it. so i get why she its country music. >> i think i'll tell you right now, i wouldn't do it even though i can't sing. >> no, i would not i would not normalize him. and she says, i love our country. how do you love your country and support and normalize somebody who was a convicted felon who really wants to destroy the country? in my opinion? i don't understand how you say you love your country at the same time as you normalize this convicted felon. if i believe i have the
11:30 pm
right to make up my mind to go perform someplace, i believe they have the same right. of course. and so i have to. yeah, i got to i have to support it. doesn't mean i'm particularly interested in what i won't be watching. >> they can't help themselves here with reaction. author of the children's book god's masterpiece, broadcaster elisabeth hasselbeck is with us. don't you miss sitting at that table? you've got to. deep down, you must really miss that noise. you've got to miss it. >> i mean, deep down, i i'm missing out. i'm just thankful to be here with you. this is safe territory, sean. although i would have loved to have been at that table today. they have refused to put anyone there who has a lick of sense on most days. but today, when those comments got passed around, even whoopi goldberg could not agree with the outlandish remark of joy behar. i mean, joy behar wants us to in the name of, by the way, liberal tolerance at its best, right? this is what we're seeing. she
11:31 pm
wants us to believe that carrie underwood, who won american idol by american votes, who had an album and tour called all american girl, who actually has spent more time on uso tours, serving and helping and donating money to our nation's finest, our military, their families and our veterans is about to perform america the beautiful at the historic event of the inauguration of the president of the united states of america, and that she's un-american for doing so. i mean, it's so ridiculous, so ridiculous that they're living. >> it's as though the election never stopped for them, and they just cling to their their hatred of donald trump, which is fine. i have no problem with that at all. but like a lot of these late night comedy shows that no longer have anybody watching them, and they're officially on cancellation notice because they're not going to survive with the numbers that they're getting, i don't think the view will survive ultimately either. so they start out by alienating half the country, but that's
11:32 pm
only part of it. they also they they continually lie to their audience. and i would argue that any content provider moving forward that is going to have any level of success, they're not going to get away with what msdnc and fake news, cnn and abc, nbc, cbs do, and that is lie to their audiences and are so partizan and political and pretend to be journalists. that's not going to survive any longer. >> sean. you just put a dart right in the center. okay? this is all i have to say. i can't agree with you more. you're 100% right when we see and we know. listen, you and i know joy, and i've actually known kerry as long as i've known joy. i'm friends with one and have been colleagues with another. you can take the guess your audience. but i'll say this. what joy is up to is nothing more than selfish personal publicity gain. right now. she wants to attach her name to carrie underwood's name
11:33 pm
so that she maintains relevance because they know the ship is sinking. number one. number two though, even considering that we cannot let a dysmorphic lie sit out there in the air, it has to be extinguished. and that's what we're doing tonight. we're actually being truth bearers, because what we know to be true is that it's actually more un-american to call someone un-american for exercising their american rights. is every person that shows up on inauguration day, from security to custodial staff un-american? is that what joy is saying? if you show up there to do your job? and by the way, she is a woman who says she's for women and strong working women. that's a lie. she should be supporting carrie underwood and actually carries a great, great woman. she could learn a lot from her because carrie surrounds herself with people who don't always agree with her politically or posture themselves precisely how she does, be it faith or anything else. but she's loving and kind idea and actually joy. if she were as strong as she was, she could learn. >> i have no idea what carrie underwood's politics are, and i don't care. i don't know what rascal flatts politics are. i
11:34 pm

when discussing possible disaster aid for california house speaker mike johnson, he said certain conditions may need to be met. take a look. >> are you open to providing aid to california without any conditions at all? >> i think we've got to have a serious conversation about that. obviously, there has been water resource mismanagement, forest management mistakes, all sorts of problems. and it does come down to leadership. and it appears to us that state and local leaders were derelict in their duty and in many respects. so that's something that has to be factored in. i think there should probably be conditions on that aid. that's my personal view. we'll see what the consensus is. >> the speaker he is correct. any aid has got to insist that the science of forestry be implemented. so you, the american people, you don't have to keep bailing people out. these are predictable santa ana winds. they are predictable

wildfires. they got to clear out the brush and do things like o controlled burns, and maybe not put a little shrub above the safety of people's lifeblood. their home. podcast host patrick bet-david highlighted the cost of construction, came up with five possible solutions that the governor the state could use to pay for it. he could ask trump and taxpayers for help. he could raise california's already high taxes even more. he can tax the california billionaires. we hear about that. chase him out of california even more, blame and deflect which he's already done or frankly, resign, which is never going to happen. he's the host of the pbd podcast, founder of valuetainment media group. patrick david is with us. wait a minute. you're a part owner of the new york yankees. how did you pull that off? >> haha. >> sean, it's great to be on with you. >> one day i get a call from a

11:43 pm
april of 2024, the number one state with negative migration, net negative migration is the state of california. 1.234 million people left the state due to covid policies. now those folks left because they were sick of their kids not going to school. they were sick of not having a life. they wanted to go out there, go to a restaurant. maybe they moved to texas, maybe they moved to florida. but the exodus we're about to see, governor newsom calls it los angeles 2.0. i call it california exodus 2.0. here's why. the average age of somebody that lives in la is 37 years old. think about when you and i were 37 years old, what life events was taking place. maybe you're having a kid or your second one. you're buying a house or your second one. thinking about starting a business, thinking about a career change. so let's process this together. you sit there. if you choose to buy a house in california, you have to ask yourself this question. do the current leaders of california, who come out with the policies, protect you from a future earthquake, protect you from a future fire? protect you from
11:44 pm
preventing insurance companies prices of going up? do you believe that's going to happen? the answer is no. number two, if you choose to build a house and you want to rebuild, how long do you think it's going to take to get those permits? probably 12 to 24, 36 months. number three, if you choose to have kids, why would you raise your kids in the school system of california, no matter what part of california you're in, why would you do that? so you don't trust the system? number four, if you choose to start a small business in california, do you think they've cleaned the homelessness? they got $24 billion of taxpayer money and homelessness just went up. in america, we have 770,000 of homeless people in america, 181 of it is in california. this man has been the governor for six years, the lieutenant governor prior to that, for eight years. his policies have destroyed a once great state. this is why this. you saw that tweet. >> all right. so we have we have hydrants that don't work. we have empty reservoirs. we

find out $650 million allocated to make the port of l.a. green. we found out that the state you know that they have $2.6 billion allocated for firefighting. but they but $101 million was cut from that. we know that the city of los angeles cut money. we know that they're spending $100 billion on electric vehicles. we know that the city of los angeles is spending 800 grand on electric street sweepers, but they're cutting the fire department budget. how do you fix stupid? because it's all stupid and it's all preventable. >> well, i mean, you saw the exchange with mayor bass where she went up there, and she said, well, i'll never as a mayor, i'll never leave the state. i'll never go abroad. she left five times. the leaders are not leading that state. but think about it this way. the palisades, you look at
11:46 pm
all the fires, 80 000 acres, 24 death toll that we know about right now. all the homes, $250 billion of damages today. reservoir. santa ynez, 117 million gallons of water it can have since february of last year. it's been zero. why? because there was a hole in the cover that they had that was one mile away from the fire that took place. we can look at so many different angles, sean. it's just bad policies. and they sit there thinking, people are not going to be leaving the next phase of people leaving. maybe hollywood doesn't leave. maybe the boomers in california that have lived there for a while don't leave. let me tell you, maybe some of the folks that are sitting there that have family ties, restaurants, businesses don't leave, but that 35 to 45 year old that knows the next 20 years are going to be the best money making years of their careers. they're looking at nevada, they're looking at texas, and they're looking at florida. >> and i can't blame them for looking at any one of those. but i will tell you, they don't get a penny unless they adopt the science of forestry, so
11:47 pm
that the american taxpayer won't have to give one more penny to california. frankly, in many ways, they should they should have to fix this themselves. they elected these people. they they wanted these environmental radicals in office, and this is what they got. and sadly, i bet they elect kamala next. that's pathetic. all right. appreciate you being with us when we come back. joe biden and kamala harris, they continue to embarrass themselves on the way out of the white house. wait until you see what happened this time. we'll show you next. >> g. ivanova. powers america every day. >> as the leading american energy manufacturer, we've never stopped building the technologies that drive today's economy and define the future of energy. >> we know an abundant, independent and secure energy system starts here at home. it's why we're investing millions in american manufacturing and creating thousands of new jobs. together, we will lead a new era of energy for america and the world. ge ivanova.
