we have a very diverse conference. much more diverse than the senate republicans. and hope that they will heed our call for the 1 bill strategy, we talked about it today. he wants to get all this done in 1 bill and i think that's the best way to get over the line. >> sean: among the many things you have to do is you have to secure the border. and we have to find the known terrorists, murders, gang members, they have to be deported. others that didn't respect our sovereignty have to be deported. then you have to fix the economy. the key to that is going to be energy dominance. that will make the country rich, that can show up social security and medicare. hopefully start to pay down the debt and really make america an energy wealthy country. and all of that happen, it happen no later than memorial day, what is the timeline you are looking at? >> that's the timeline.

all of those things are being accomplished in the process and many more things. cutting down government and getting -- getting control of the regulatory state. all these things can happen concurrently because we've been doing all the work to build up for this moment. the timeline is that we will pass the budget, our target is by late february. that sets up the reconciliation process and then we get to the real grind of those policy changes. we will do that if the target is to have this bill on the floor, to pass by early april before easter. and if we follow this timetable, you can have this bill signed in law by the end of april, certainly before memorial day. that will be a great day for the country and between that time, remember a lot will be happening. the house will be passing also to legislation. the senate will go along with so much of this and president trump will have aids executive authority and all the things he's going to do beginning on day one to secure that border and begin this economic

renaissance. >> it has to also include refunding the police are restoring law and order. and also what i call preparing for the next generation of warfare. i think future wars are not going to be fought on a battlefield but in air-conditioned offices and i believe the president trump's idea for an iron dome is an idea whose time has come and it may up being his greatest legacy a generation from now. >> it could. we maintain peace through strength and president trump has exhibited that. illustrated that with the peace deal. it would not have happened without him having that firm hand. make no mistake, that biden a administration has made a mess of this. they appeased around. and that emboldened them and their proxies like hamas while they undermined israel. hamas thought that the

would be my desire. i understand there are strong argument on both sides for either one big beautiful bill or two bills. i don't think there is consensus yet. it looks like the house has decided to go with the one bill strategy. you maybe thought it would work better in the senate. i don't think either one is right and wrong is all -- as long as it all gets done as early as possible. where are you on that issue? >> you're right that there is a tactical disagreement between the house and senate. the speakers argued for doing one bill. i it's much more likely to succeed doing two different bills. just about every senator agrees that two bills maximize the chances of success. we will resolve those questions. i think what the american people want and expect is that we deliver results. there is a mandate that came in november. a mandate to secure the border. we've got to secure the border.

is amended to bring back jobs and unleash american energy, to lower inflation. there's a mandate to protect this country. we are going to do all of that. we're going to repeal job killing regulations and at the end of the day whether we do one bill or two, we will get the job done. and i think every republican in the senate is committed to doing that and i think every republican in the houses as well. we will work hand-in-hand with the president and i was the time for us to roll up our sleeves and deliver on our promises because the stakes are too high to do anything else. >> sean: are you that convinced that every part of the trump agenda, whether one bill or two will be passed by memorial day at the latest. >> i think if we try to do one giant bill i think we increase the chances of failure. that's why i think that is a mistake in strategy. the more complicated a ct scan, a few weeks ago we had a continuing resolution that was widely criticized for being too big and now folks are suggesting
