was just completely outrageous and uncalled for. however, we're starting to see the country tilt center right, as a response to the nonsense that we lived through these last four years. and i think it's a very important point for everyone to understand that if president trump delivers on these promises, he can have a permanent new governing coalition of hispanics, of black americans, of young people, of people in the working class that no longer want to be part of the screechy upper middle class liberalism that we've seen infect all of our major institutions. the new governing coalition, president trump, has an opportunity that we have not seen since ronald reagan or fdr to rebuild the body politic, to reconfigure how people view american political parties and to govern. for a generation. he's been given that mandate, and we do not see the type of resistance that you would have thought. we thought that we would be seeing widespread protests and corporations with these, remember these emails they used to send? oh, we are so sorry. now these they're getting rid of d departments. they're saying no more. it's remarkable to witness. >> the women's march is now

>> 10 minutes joe biden will deliver his farewell address to the nation. a long farewell. this four year long nightmare is almost over. but not everyone feels the same. >> history's view of joe biden is going to be a little bit different than your view of joe biden in today's piece that you have written. in the sense that it's going to take into account joe biden's role in keeping nato together. in keeping ukraine alive. and the day-to-day talking tug-of-war match that he has had with bibi netanyahu for a half. i want to meet those historians, of course, embarrassing afghanistan withdrawal. the billions spent funding the

ukraine war to a stale made, inflation, unleashing, what, 15 million illegals on our country destroying our energy independence. weaponizeing the doj and then losing, let's not forget that losing. joe biden was a one-man wrecking crew to the united states. and he had to drop out and let somebody even worse run. joining me now ari fleischer. mary katharine ham, fox news contributors and charlie hurt, the new co-host of "fox & friends weekend." what should we expect from biden's farewell address tonight? >> we should expect a sad, sorry episode from a president who i think is only going to be remembered tonight for his age. people are going to watch him on tv and say boy, does he look old. is he kind of hard to hear sometimes. and i think that's going to be the lasting memory. is he going to do his best tonight to sell himself to talk about the good things he did over the last four years.

but, frankly, he is america's first one-term president since jimmy carter. he got forced out of the race by his own party because they knew he was going to lose so badly. you look at his record when it came to inflation, southern border, foreign policy failures, wars, there is very little can he point to of any success. he tried to be a progressive president. he failed at that. he passed too many liberal policies to begin with. and it failed the country. that's what he will be remembered for. >> laura: are you surprised, mary katharine, that our friends over at the other networks are doing their best to try to rehabilitate joe biden on his way out the door. i'm watching this because it's fun comedic relief. i'm thinking what four years did they just watch and lost he had to drop out after a 90 minute debate. >> there's the thing where is the last straw on the performance of this guy. you don't have to be kind at this point, even if you started out as a fan of his. he has failed his party. he has failed the american

people. and tonight he is going to take credit for things he hasn't done. is he going to lie about things that he has done he will probably malign large parts of the shade and individual people. he will tell you hunter is great. he might try to elm if a p&a theisman and fail he does that a lot. actually the only newsworthy thing he could do which i wish he would do so unhinged that he tells us who has actually been in charge for the last four years. i would like to hear the t on that. >> remember, charlie, after trump won in november the "new york times" put out this piece saying that trump's win would likely prolong gaza talks uncertainty. so we have the big win today. i mean, again, the details we will see how it all plays out it. looks pretty positive for this gaza temporary cease-fire. the media have gotten it wrong about trump and now in the aftermath of biden, they are still getting it wrong. i keep saying this. no one has the ability to learn from actually what's happened: donald trump is involved because

they are completely incapable of seeing him with any sort of clear eyes. i do think that we will probably hear a lot about this hostage deal tonight and joe biden is going to try to take credit for it. but, just on the fails of it, it's so absurd because the idea that somehow the placating from the biden administration is what brought about this hostage deal, it's absurd at its extreme, the real reason that this hostage deal came about is because israel was so so powerfully degrade hamas and pursue hamas to the corners of hell that they had no choice but to do this and the back of their mind they knew that donald trump was coming into office and it was only going to get that much worse. and so forth biden administration today to try to claim that oh this deal came about because we were so hard on hamas, no you weren't.

did you everything you could to pull the reins back on israel when israel was pursuing hamas. >> i think jake sullivan probably is watching, you know, the last few weeks and thinking to himself gosh, if i had worked for trump, i would have been able to get this done with the hostages because trump actually has credibility ari, right? because jake sullivan is not a dumb person. is he actually pretty confident. but you are not going to get anything done with biden because nobody thinks biden has actually dialed in to what is going on in the middle east, correct? >> the interesting thing, too. we can say that he doesn't have anything to do with this and it's true. nobody needs to be convinced of that because they don't believe him and they don't care about the speech. he has become a nonentity on this stage. >> ari i want to play a little snippet -- this is a preview of what biden is about to say. it's his little attempt to defend his record i says i put together one of the most competent foreign policy teams i

would argue in american history. i believe the economy i'm leaving is the best in the world. and he said about the border, when i became president, the border became way down. that's what he said. this is the ari delusional review self-reflection of biden. >> what part of foreign policy went right under joe biden? nothing. absolutely nothing when you look at the afghanistan withdrawal. when you look at the stalemate and ukraine and stalemate in gaza until israel broke through on hezbollah. everything joe biden did was to extend wars, not end wars, he denied everything that everybody want. he told israel not to go into rafah. joe biden doesn't have a foreign policy anything to point to, including the southern border and what he did with mexico when during the debate he said come, come to america. it won't even be a felony anymore. there is nothing he got right when it came to foreign policy. why do you think there were no abraham accords under his watch?

no one trusted him. >> laura: no trade deals. no nothing. and very quickly, we learned tonight that pretty boy justin trudeau speaking of people on the way out the door is now saying that canada may hit back on trump by cutting u.s. energy supplies if trump puts tariffs on chinese goods. charlie, those are big words. do you think that's actually going to happen? that wouldn't end well for canada. >> exactly. good luck with that governor trudeau. but, of course, this only reveals reminds us of the brilliance of donald trump's energy policy which is to become not just energy independent but to completely energy dominant so we don't have to listen to partnership squeak lik >> todd: fox news alert, prime minister netanyahu just announced
