>> jesse: we are now entering the days of thunder, that's how insiders are describing the second trump term. the greatest comeback in political history is just getting started. a little while ago corporate america saw trump as toxic but now maga is the hottest brandon town. just this week trump received the highest award a president can get, the first-ever presidential commemorative can of diet coke. get ready for mcdonald's big mac and cheese. companies want to be associated with trump and they want you to know it. the stigma of a trump donation, which was out there to some degree eight years ago is no longer there. who knows what's going to happen two months from now but for today up and down, corporate america is solidly pro trump. the biggest brands in america, look at these right here, each donated 1 million large. one lobbyist said everyone is trying to kiss the ring and korea favor. we are hopeful this new administration will be

friendlier then the previous. trump is not running for reelection so he can use the money for anything from his library to making sure republicans keep the house. he can even use some of it to pay off kamala's debt if he's is so inclined. one trump advisor told axios the money is just pouring in at mar-a-lago. trump doesn't have to lift a finger. everybody is coming to him. sure trump will cash the check but doesn't -- that does not mean he owes you anything. the president was overheard telling an executive this "you guys made this amount of money last year and you are going to make so much more now because of me, but when i needed you, where the f were you? you weren't with me and maybe you were with her." a big part of trump's second term is making sure america is on the cutting edge. five tech titans are getting positions of honor on trump's inauguration stage. elon musk, zuckerberg, bezos, tiktok's ceo, and the biggest name in ai.

are they legitimate? or do they just want to be in bed with a winning team? -- fauci jokes -- elon musk has a bit more streak read because he stuck his neck out when there was risk but i don't know about the rest of the crew. maybe they are libertarians, maybe they are imperialists, what do i know. but i do know biden wants blood. he's declaring a war on the attack industrial complex and using it as a rallying cry for the new resistance. he's telling his party to ditch at the -- dig dei and wage class warfare against the tech giants. >> i almost saw the speech as an attempt to wrestle back the mantle of populism from the republicans. donald trump has run a populist campaign. when joe biden last night, it was quite interesting, almost tried to reclaim populism for the democratic party. >> jesse: spending a decade calling trump hitler blew up in the democrats face is. they lost their base, donors and the plot. >> the democrats have come to the end of the nine-year

messaging program during which they woke up every single day and told america and the world that donald trump was a bad guy because he's on authoritarian, a racist, a sexual predator, a fascist, all of these horrible things that they say about him, and what was the end result? he won. he got elected to the presidency again. this has got to be regarded as the greatest communication failure in the history of world politics. and nine-year campaign that failed. >> jesse: so biden is trying to rebrand democrats as a party for the people but actions speak louder than words. >> you've got three people on top. mr. mosque, mr. bezos and mr. zuckerberg, who are now worth almost a trillion dollars. would you agree with president biden who last night stated, and i quote "and outlook are key is taking shape in america of extreme wealth, power and influence that threatens our

entire democracy." >> the three billionaires who you listed all made the money themselves. mr. musk came to the country as an immigrant. >> forget how they made their money, do you think that when so few people have so much wealth and so much economic and political power that that is an oligarchic form of society? >> i would note that president biden gave the presidential medal of freedom to two people who i think would qualify as all her guards. >> jesse: biden gave the medal of freedom to george soros and mike bloomberg. he only likes the billionaires who work for him. democrats use mob rule to bully the ceos to their side. if you said what democrats did not want to hear, you are canceled, even if it's the truth. but that's over now. it's hot speech winter. ceos can say what they want and support whoever they want without getting whacked and they

don't have to pretend to like dei anymore. these blue-chip companies ditching dei. a few years ago if you did not have a diversity officer or tampons in the men's room your company would get boycotted. now you get dinner with the president. and trump is a talker. >> he is world-class on real estate and communications. those are his foundational skills and he's world-class in both which is probably the first person in the world to be world-class in both. the real estate industry are not known for great communicators but here you have someone who does both incredibly well. >> jesse: 47 speaks to something inside successful competitive men. they like what he does and they like that he says what he wants. and they like his drive and his finesse when there is an obstacle. when you see a man survive a gunshot and pop back up, that's respect. men wanted to be around men like that and now they are not intimidated by their hr departments, they are the boss. but at the end of the day, all

these ceos really care about is their bottom line. banks are seeing big profits because companies are optimistic about the economy. ceos all over the planet are looking to finance big-ticket investments here in america. that's good news for everyone. for trump to modernize the country and shred biden's legacy, he's going to need corporate america on his side. if we are going to fight trade wars we are going to have to reindustrialize. if we are going to capitalize on ai we are going to need to produce much more energy here at home. and we are going to need young american workers to step up and fight for the american dream. so we are cautiously optimistic about big tech's newfound loyalty. they are saying all the right things but it's early. these people might just go where the wind blows. if they want our trust they have to earn it because we can always bust up these big monopolies if they stop all over our constitutional rights again. senator josh holly joins us now.

you were always suspicious, still are i imagine, of these big tech monopolies. now a lot of their ceos are going to be at the inauguration throwing a bunch of money around saying all of the right things. do you trust them? >> no, of course not, i don't trust him at all. what i do trust is the fact that donald trump won this election and you got it right, these people, these corporate chieftains can see that this is where the american people are. donald trump won the electoral college, won the popular vote, he's got majorities in both houses and they are realizing that there woke far left policies don't pay, that they american public does not wanted and they respond to winning. that's a good thing. we should not trust them but we should go on winning and make it clear that we've got the mandate for the american people, we need to deliver, a message to corporate america is get with the program and start doing what the people want. >> jesse: what happens if gavin newsom, god forbid, wins the next election and he's a california kid and a look these tech guys go back to his side and they start to sense it --

start the censorship all over again? what happens next? >> this is why we should not trust them and it's also why we really ought to break up those that are monopolies. we should not give these corporations huge power because they will use it against us and that's not a hypothetical as you know better than anybody, you covered it, this has happened for four years running. our message ought to be less and if you want to respect the results of the last election, good for you, that's good business but we won't let you have control over the government or let you have control over our speech. we are not going to give you control over the economy. we are going to get more competition, make sure you don't censor, make sure that you cannot control us. that ought to be our program and that will help keep them in check and make sure president trump can implement his agenda. >> jesse: all right. we have seen this before, it's like a relationship, you know. we know what to do here. i think you and i have probably been through the same thing. senator, good to see you, see you at the inaugural balls. >> looking forward to it.

>> jesse: donald trump's inauguration weekend shaping up to be a once-in-a-lifetime all-american event. monday's parade is going to feature 7000 patriots from all across the country, including first responders from the july 13th butler rally, and the infamous trump garbage truck is slated to make an appearance. and for those with more expensive tastes, luxury hotel packages for the inauguration include helicopter rides, high-end shopping sprees and vats of caviar. on monday carrie underwood is going to perform america the beautiful during the swearing-in ceremony and if you get to d.c. and night early, be sure to visit trump's make america great again victory rally on sunday featuring performances by the village people and this guy, that one and only kid rock who just announced his new seven city tour starting in march, as will as the rock and rodeo.

that will be happening in may. how are you doing, kid? >> what's up, jesse? >> jesse: is this your first inauguration? >> no. i was actually listening to your show a little bit before i got in the truck here and i heard, you know, michelle obama is not attending. i would kindly remind her that years back, when obama was first elected, i did not vote for him but they asked me to play the inauguration and i played it and i went, had a good time. i went out of respect to the presidency. so i would kindly remind ms. michelle about that. [laughs] >> jesse: i forgot about that. that's cool because it's really not about the politics, it's about the office and you have to respect it. why isn't michelle attending? all of the other first ladies are. >> i don't know. she seems a little angry. she might be -- i don't know. [laughs] >> you can't say something nice. >> jesse: that's smart for husbands and people on live

television. so what happens when you go to inauguration like this, are you going to have a bat of caviar? [laughs] >> i don't even know what a vat is. >> jesse: it's like an industrial drum. i've never had a lot of caviar. i don't know if you could fit it all into a vat but what are you going to be doing there? >> man, we put something together very special. i mean i've spent so much time on this. when i was first asked to do it, it was kind of a thing where they were like can you show up and play the track, to a couple songs and i was like respectfully i'm not interested in that at all. i would rather help you anyway i can, i'm a supporter. so i came up and put something together, put it all down on paper to the minute, everything choreographed. they loved it. of course we get into it, we are going through, you know, the due diligence to get it done and god bless him, here comes the

secret service and they are like yeah, we can light up fireworks and have big pyrotechnics. on not sure we can have strippers on polls. [laughs] >> jesse: yeah -- >> we still that's only very special planned. >> jesse: i want to see that show. maybe one day we will go see that one. you know, you were like a first-generation trump supporter. i remember back in the day you were all in early. what do you think now about all of these people coming in late, you know, at the inauguration, these ceos, these musicians, how do you feel about that? >> i mean welcome to the party. it's kind of fun to watch everybody jump on. better late than never. i feel like people are finding out really what type of man trump is and he's a terrific

guy. they know what i and plenty of people have known him for eight years. i endorsed him when he came down the elevator because i love the fact that he was not a politician, he was a businessman. the business of america has socked for so long. we need someone in making sensible decisions. it's become about -- we can't get any good people to work for this country because like we've seen in these hearings with my friend pete hegseth and others where they just drill them and drill them. you slept with so-and-so and said this drunk at a bar. it's like so what, we are not electing deacon of the church here, i want somebody smart who can run the country, keep us safe, run it like a business and, you know, make america great again, what can i say. >> jesse: hallelujah. everyone is jumping on and that's fine. better late than never, as you said. my producer's keep telling me it's your birthday tomorrow. i have a strict rule for men, that men don't ever wish another

[laughs] >> you know what i don't think is appropriate? if i can say this, with all due love and respect, is birthdays, holidays, i've been trying to figure out how to say this for years, i'm going to sound like such a jerk, but i have to say it. i think people will agree with me, people like myself are very fortunate, i have so many good friends, so many good family. but when you are trying to work or spend those holidays, birthdays with friends and family and your inbox on your phone, emails and text is just blowing up all day with happy birthday, it's a little too much, it's a little annoying. if it means that much to you, center guard. >> jesse: send a card and send a check. all right kid rock, great to see you, we will see you over the weekend at the balls. no stripper poles, no fireworks but it's going to be special. >> stop by my hotel room, we

to fake a smile for someone who she still considers a threat to american democracy." was barack obama faking it with trump at jimmy carter's funeral? it did not look like it but we should not be surprised. the last time michelle thought trump she cried. >> after the inauguration, and we know who -- we know who's inauguration we were at, that day was so emotional on so many different reasons, there were tears, there was that emotion, but then to sit on that stage and watch the opposite of what we represented on display, there was no diversity, there was no color on that stage, there was no reflection of the broader fence of america. and many people took pictures of me and lkq weren't in a good mood. no i was not. >> jesse: michelle's absence is not bothering the trump team. they are having a good laugh about it. they did not expect her to come anyway. michelle is not the only one

ditching trump's inauguration. nancy pelosi will not attend either. poor nancy has been on a losing streak lately. she gave up the gavel, stabbed joe in the back, broke her hip and now she's losing friends. doctor jill told "the washington post" this, i learned a lot about human nature, we were friends for 50 years, it was disappointing. jill is not the only one slamming nancy. joe gave a subtle showed out to her during last night's address. >> we need to band members of congress from trading stock while in congress. [laughs] >> jesse: a person close to biden said his relationship with nancy pelosi is permanently damaged. in fact nbc is reporting that the bidens harper a simmering resentment toward not only nancy but barack obama and a lot of their former aids. in the white house, the mood feels like a morgue. biden is one of the least popular precedence in the last

70 years, leaving office with a 36% approval rating. and a party in tatters. the post says in remarks tuesday, -- praised biden has a source of hope and an author of history in one of the finest public servants in american history. when the veteran lawmaker ended his six minute speech the senate adjourned for a lunch break, no one else rose to applaud or backup his praise for biden. as often happens in farewell tribute speeches. they say if you want a friend in washington, get a dog. biden got two and a bit everyone. now he doesn't have dogs or friends. former illinois governor joins us now. so you understand the democrat party a little bit better than we do. everyone hates each other. what does that mean? >> you are quoting a great democratic president, harry truman. he's the one who said if you want a friend in washington, it'd job. these are different democrats. truman was forthright and a tough guy. these democrats are just

lawyers. they lie. they lied to the american people, they lie to each other, they lie about each other, they step each other in the back. biden has given that speech just a second ago and he's talking about how he considers kamala harris part of his family. that's a blatant lie. she stabbed him in the back and got him removed as the presidential candidate and she became the candidate. they lied about his fitness for office, they lied about kamala harris doing french fries a mcdonald's. they lied. they can't even give you a straight answer, jesse. to a simple question, how do you define a woman. so there lies are coming around and they are now, you know, paying the price for all of those lies and what you have now is, you know, you have a house divided against itself and it's because no relationship that's predicated on lies can long endure, to paraphrase lankinen, and that's what they are facing. now they are blaming each other for their failures. with interesting about that speech last night, he's talking about the future in such a dark

and pessimistic way. did it ever cross his mind that if that's the case, it's because he screwed up as president for the past four years? >> jesse: i don't think it did. i don't much crosses his mind. you make an interesting point. if obama and jill and joe and nancy, no one is talking to each other, they all hate each other, they are never going to be able to get it together to get as party ahead of where it is now because right now it's a mess. michelle. what is going on with michelle? you are a chicago guy, she's a chicago girl, have you ever seen her like this? >> you know, i could not help but notice that she is the former first lady, she famously said when they go low we go high. but now she's not going to attend trump's inauguration with her husband. she did not attend jimmy carter, president carter's funeral with her husband. i began to think that may be hurt nonattendance at trump's inauguration has less to do with trump and maybe more to do with barack obama.

emergency. this spells trouble for new some who's obviously eyeing the oval. 47% of californians say he's to blame for the destruction. the fires bin completely mismanaged but you are not allowed to say that. >> i think everyone did a great job. unlike the internet. >> this was definitely mismanaged. mismanaged like some play play pity it on the internet knows how to manage the worst fire in la, sitting there in his underwear. looking at the footage on the internet, i have determined that there is here was mismanaged. >> jesse: the la fire chief said this was a failure. i think she knows a thing or two about managing fires, or we hope she does, maybe she doesn't. does hunter biden think the fires were managed well because we are hearing reports that 200 pieces of his finest our work were burnt to a crisp. maybe biden will send him a 700-dollar check.

visiting professor and global ambassador at northwood university and author of the parasitic mind joins "primetime". doctor, the people in california, how do you think they are grappling with this fire in the politics of it psychologically. >> you know, it's unbelievable to see how unserious these people are. the great economist said there are no solutions, only trade-offs. it's nice to have pronouns and all the rest of that woke stuff but for every dollar that you put into this, it's a trade-off that you are taking from somewhere else. for example, at the university of michigan, they did a study where they were spending something like -- they had 500 positions, $30 million spent on dei. you could hire 150 professors at $200,000 to add to the faculty roster. so life is about trade-offs
