washington tonight. as always. thank you very much for joining us. well, at this hour, as the temperatures keep dropping, washington is filling up with maga heads. well, there's the crypto ball tonight. there's fireworks tomorrow at trump national, the vice president's dinner. then there's various fun receptions the black tie and boots ball. that's texas. and of course, inauguration day itself and all the festivities that follow. but with the bitterly cold weather and snow and rain in the forecast, organizers are smart to move the actual ceremony indoors. i'll be there and i'll give you all the behind the scenes details monday night. but you feel it. change is in the air. in just a few days, we're going to have a real president again. yeah, one who we know is actually making decisions, and one who wants to bring the nation together. >> have you thought about your message for your second inaugural address? i have, can you give us a preview? >> we're going to have a message that will make you

happy. unity. it's going to be a message of unity. and again, i think success brings unity. >> starting monday afternoon, executive orders will start flying on everything from energy to deportation to undo some of the worst of joe biden's record. and speaking of biden, he's ending his horrid presidency with the usual rhetorical flourish. >> i announced the next phase, the next 15 drugs subject to negotiations. drugs that will treat cancer, heart disease, diabetes and so much more, including ozempic. excuse me. ozempic. hard to say. >> did he just pretend to be fixing his upper plate? it's also apparently hard to come up with new taglines, even if the old ones failed miserably. >> i really am concerned about how fragile democracy is. we're at an inflection point in history here where, unrelated

to any particular leader, things are going to change drastically. >> you bet they are. we're going to call a lid now at 630 in the morning now, and it's going to change. not a moment too soon. does he think that what, after winning, trump should keep all of his policies in place? yeah, i win and i'm going to leave joe's policies just where they are. calling doctor jill, it's time for joe's peppy pills. then there's nothing like a president who trashes millions of americans on his way out the door. >> red states really screwed up in terms of the way they handled their economy and the way they handle manufacturing, the way they handle access to supply chains. >> biden has his staff not informed him that red state economies are what drove the post-covid recovery. 16 of the top states, to be exact, led the country in the job growth and out of the top 15 states with the lowest unemployment, 11 have gop governors. it's
1:04 am
awesome. while seven of the ten states with the highest unemployment rates are run by democrats. all right, here is the good news. and it's really good. americans have already tuned joe out for the first time in years. a plurality of americans, 44%, think their family finances are actually going to improve in the coming year. now, this is the highest proportion of americans who are optimistic about their finances. since this question was first asked back in 2009. and that's why trump is just more popular than he's ever been. but of course, he's only beginning again, and the hard work will begin in earnest on tuesday. trump has the momentum, and he should do everything within his power to keep it. america first means all americans have a chance at winning again. joining me now, alex marlow, breitbart editor in chief, and byron york, washington examiner chief political correspondent and fox news contributor. byron, it's

clear that trump is going to waste no time and start issuing executive orders. i think within the hour of his swearing in is what i understand. but biden thinks it's now a threat to democracy, that we apparently have a new president. >> you know, we've been seeing a lot of anger from joe biden. >> and at the risk of being the psychiatrist here. >> look, i think he's still extremely angry at the way his presidency is ending, especially being forced out of the of the democratic race. you know, we've gotten some new reporting. >> we're going to get to that soon. byron, don't don't don't spoil it for us because we're going to get to that new reporting. but but the idea that you're going back to this failed democracy experiment that he's pushing, that didn't work in the election like he's a threat to democracy. he's an autocrat. he's a dictator. that was the subtext, clearly, of what he was saying there. are you shocked that they have they apparently have nothing new. >> absolutely not. shocked at
1:06 am
all. i was a little surprised early in 2024 when his when he was still a candidate and his top advisers were saying, you know, this whole election is going to be about january 6th. and you looked at inflation and the border and all of these things, and you said, really, is it really going to be about january 6th? well, joe biden apparently thought so. and you did see when there was this quick turnover from joe biden to kamala harris, the harris campaign just abandoned that entire biden theme. and now, with biden on the way out, making several farewell statements, you're seeing it again. he still believes that, alex, it's really bizarre. >> i mean, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. well, then we have a lot of insane people walking around d.c, but biden's white house team is still focused with a laser beam on what matters most to them. watch this. >> i always start crying when i talk about this. president

biden promised that he would have a cabinet that looks like america, and he did. there's more women, more women of color, more people on the cabinet with perspectives that have never been around a decision making table before. >> with diversity comes different views, different perspectives, and better decision making. >> okay. as corporate america is slowly but surely surely ditching dei and even some universities are again out of touch much. >> a completely. i was really struck this week watching these hearings in particular with scott bessent, who i thought was just by his brainpower alone was the perfect pick for treasury. but to see him, he looks so sharp. he's got his husband behind him with his beautiful family, and this is an alternative lifestyle, laura, and we completely accept him because he's the best guy for the job. that's what america looks like. if sean duffy up there with his ten kids, that's america. and so what are they talking about? they don't look any more like
1:08 am
america than we do, and people are not buying it. and that's why people have rejected the dei stuff is not working for this country, and they want to focus on the ideas that matter. donald trump's america first ideas and byron, meanwhile, we have members of biden's cabinet who know everything they did is about to get undone, and yet they're trying to preemptively absolve themselves of any responsibility. >> i think they're worried about real accountability. watch. alejandro mayorkas people have different views on what the correct policies should be, what the correct operational measures should be, those disagreements, those different views are voiced, decisions are made, and then everyone marches in unity together. >> you suggesting you your view, your own personal views about how to operate this were at odds. i don't want to get into the deliberative process. >> byron. so now we're supposed to believe because he thinks
1:09 am
we're stupid. we're supposed to believe that he really wasn't on board with these border policies, and he was made to do all this stuff. is that what we're supposed to get from this? >> well, he sees himself headed to the hall of infamy for secretaries of homeland security. certainly. and, you know, actually, joe biden recently said that when he, joe biden took office, illegal border crossings plunged, when in fact, the opposite happened. they skyrocketed. so, look, i think we're going to see a lot of revisionist history, particularly about the border. and you will hear mayorkas, you'll hear biden, you'll hear everybody saying that illegal crossings were just plunging when he left office. they were at their lowest point since whenever when they left office and not pay any attention to the 10 million or so illegal and unvetted border crossers who were mostly allowed to stay in the united states. >> well, alex and byron, this will be a fun three days. cold,
1:10 am
rainy, icy. but we're looking forward to it. thank you both very much. thank you. now that biden is on his way out the door, we're learning the truth about the coup against him. byron just alluded to, and the cover up that actually preceded it. first, senator let it slip about who orchestrated the takedown when he was asked about jill biden's feud with pelosi, she said, quote, it was disappointing. >> you know, that joe biden is very careful with how she uses her words. what did you make of that moment? >> she may well have wished that speaker pelosi had engaged directly with him, rather than orchestrating a campaign to try and get president biden to step down from the race. >> but it wasn't just pelosi. today, the new york times revealed that chuck schumer delivered the final blow or dagger to biden's reelection hopes after biden bombed at the debate against trump, schumer took it as something of a gift, and he used it as a catalyst for the conversation with the president. two weeks later, he
1:11 am
took a four hour drive from new york to see biden. we covered this and rehearsed out loud, i guess in the car what he was going to say. now, schumer reportedly told the president that staying in the race would be catastrophic. if you run in and you lose to trump and we lose the senate, we don't get back the house. that 50 years of amazing, beautiful work goes out the window, joe. but worse, you go down in history as one of the darkest figures. if i were you, i wouldn't run. i'm urging you not to run. well, biden only responded that he needed a week to think about it. it's being reported, and schumer left the meeting and then reportedly again broke down in tears. eight days later, biden withdrew from the race. but the drama behind the democrat's ouster of biden is only part of the story. the real scandal are the events leading up to the coup. the new york times is also reporting that long before the debate,
1:12 am
schumer had privately concluded that the barrier of biden's age was too much for him to overcome. but schumer, like every other democrat in a position of power, had chosen to do nothing. well, that's not true, though. schumer and the democrats didn't do nothing. they spent months, and i would say years lying to the american people. >> i talked to president biden, you know, regularly, often, sometimes several times in a week or usually several times in a week. his mental acuity is great. >> it's fine. >> it's as good as it's been over the years. he's fine. all this right wing propaganda that his mental acuity is declined is wrong. >> and now we have more confirmation that he was lying from the times. this. during their weekly conversations, the president often rambled. once in a while, biden would forget why he had called, but schumer thought little of it. he was convinced that biden could handle the job. oh please, no
1:13 am
one believes this. no one thinks that chuck schumer, who still believe it or not pretty sharp, thought that biden could perform his duties as president for another six months, let alone for another four years. now, schumer may be corrupt and he's really liberal, but he's not that out of it. they thought that they could cover this up. they were putting the presidency in the hands of a man they knew was declining to continue in four years. if they were lucky, they wanted to use biden as their useful idiot, as their puppet to do exactly as they wanted. well, that debate, that abysmal performance by joe biden, exposed all of them. democrat senator sheldon whitehouse admits as much, saying repeatedly that if biden didn't drop out, they couldn't continue to claim he was fit for office because, quote, they would be lying. but of course, they were lying all along. well, long before biden withdrew from the race. and
1:14 am
that, my friends, is something none of us should ever forget because they were all consumed by their desire to hang on to power by any means necessary. and the democrat party and all their media cohorts, they continued the big lie while accusing trump of the big lie, but lying to the american public about the mental fitness of our commander in chief just so they could hold on to the proximity of power. and when they were caught, well, they just decided they would subvert the will of the democratic primary voters and forced their own nominee off the ticket. so in the end, this remains one of the most egregious abuses of power we've ever seen in american politics. it's a scandal of lying. then it's a scandal of hopscotching over the voters who actually picked joe biden to be the nominee. we can never again trust any of these people anywhere near the halls of power. and coming up,

>> i read it as the president elect trump is revealing his china strategy for the next four years. and it's brilliant. it's taken part of it's out of the art of the deal. part of it's out of president trump's admiration for ronald reagan and reagan's negotiating style, where he put a lot of pressure on the adversary, even intimidating, but always leave a way out and have respect and get finally get agreements so that we saw reagan, you and i both served in the reagan administration. laura. we know he went from the evil empire and the ash bin of history to saying that was a long time ago. now we had a new era and eventually get the collapse of the soviet communist party. so i think president trump is revealing today how he's going to manage things. and frankly, what we can look for now is this very dangerous encirclement. every day of chinese communist jet fighters and ships around taiwan, sometimes 20, sometimes 30

>> now the scope of devastation in la now in full view. new disturbing developments raised concerns about whether the area will ever be restored. families are being bombarded with calls from lawyers and realtors, pushing them to sue or to sell off their burned out plots of land. >> i strongly believe that 50% of the people who lived in the palisades are not going to be moving back to the palisades. i'm negotiating almost a dozen deals right now on land in the palisades, much faster than i ever thought i would be doing. people are already trying to sell their dirt knowing that they're not going to go back there. >> well, that was celebrity realtor josh altman with tmz again, he said, already working to negotiate deals with the fire victims. but the question is what will replace what were once charming single family homes that really looked like americana there? is it unreasonable to worry about high density, affordable housing more in tune with the
1:44 am
climate change issues? that type of housing popping up in the place of those old homes to satisfy liberal fever dreams. now remember, they do have a housing shortage in california. liberals constantly talk about it, and democrats could always use that to justify rezoning these areas down the road. but who would want to live under these idiotic leaders who both didn't prepare for the fires and then can't ensure that the neighborhoods are actually restored in the aftermath? but this dereliction leaves a wide berth for common sense leaders to walk through, and it could be a tipping point for the gop that's been trying to break the liberal stranglehold on the golden state for decades. and trump, he's the man to do this. this past election, he grew his support in 45 of 58 counties. joining me now is jillian michaels, celebrity fitness trainer. she lost her home back in 2018. and that california wildfire. remember that and recently evacuated her mom from that palisades fire. jillian, this is so heartbreaking to watch. and i'm so angry about
1:45 am
what the people there are going through. will this horrific tragedy spur a political reawakening? >> i certainly hope so. >> and the reality is that we have to make this about negligence and corruption, because the truth of the matter is, the more we dig in on right and left, whether it is or whether it isn't, the more people who find themselves on the left are refusing to see what's right in front of their face. so i think the key here is to focus on everything that was done wrong, what needs to happen next, and asking yourself if the people currently in power are capable of facilitating that. and to me, the answer is overwhelmingly no. >> well, jillian, we saw what happened in hawaii and those fires that ended up being a significant de-population of a once was again, like this, an idyllic landscape people just picked up and left, went to
1:46 am
other islands, went back to the mainland. and i mean, people without trust in government start to spin theories and some of them conspiracy theories, thinking they they want these neighborhoods gone, they want to rezone, they want towers, they want to turn this into, you know, something that looks more like boca raton. i look boca raton or tysons corner, virginia, than it did the palisades. that's a real concern. >> oh, without question. and disaster. capitalism is a real thing. and finding somebody who can thread this needle is not going to be easy. which brings us back to the question of whether or not someone like gavin newsom has his intentions in the right place, let alone the capability to do this. what i would like to see is a former resident of california is giving people who've lost everything some tax relief, maybe a state buyback at a fair market price, disaster relief grants, penalizing monster corporations who go in and try to pick the carcasses clean of
1:47 am
vulnerable individuals. but listen, i'm the farthest thing from an expert here, but it is going to take an expert to protect the california citizens. >> well, i think the california citizens are going to have to start protecting themselves here. and by being really smart with whom they choose, because they keep going down the same path, this will keep happening after all these politicians, jillian said there was nothing they could do. if that's the case, why would anyone want to live there? there's nothing we can do. >> okay, well, do i get an opportunity to go crazy on that one? yeah. there's. this isn't even funny. i laugh because i actually. otherwise i would scream. apparently there's new news that one of the fires was potentially started by faulty, dated equipment from a privately owned utility company, southern california edison. now, when have we seen this before? i don't know, 2018. and the fire where my home was burned to the ground. forget there are so many things that we could do. we could
1:48 am
demand. yeah. i mean, the list is so long. fund the fire department. listen, that's a whole nother incompetence. that's a whole nother show. >> jillian, we could do an hour on this in a live show, and i hope i get to get out there to do that soon. and we really appreciate your perspective. you love that state, even if you don't live there now. and, you know, so many people who've suffered so much. thank you very much. and coming up, we're going to laugh through the end of the biden presidency friday. follies with raymond arroyo is next. >> christa, it's time to fess up about you're over 45 and still haven't screened for colon cancer. >> we all know this is like the third year she's turned 44. >> okay, i wasn't ready. let's drink all that prep, cancel brunch plans. >> i can't ask for cologuard. it's a one of a kind way to screen for colon cancer that's effective and noninvasive. >> no prep, and you use it at home. >> false, positive and negative results may occur. those at high risk should use colonoscopy. >> skip the drama, ask your provider or request cologuard

moment, laura, depending on your perspective, america is a nation that can be defined in a single word. >> i was in the foothills of foot. excuse me. joan chen. shipping. to pronounce her shanghai. >> kawawa the white house in cleanup mode tonight, following president biden mistakenly calling for indiana congresswoman jackie walorski. >> representative jackie, are you here? where's jackie? i didn't think she was. she was going to be here. >> the congresswoman tragically passed away in a car accident in august, but will also promote shared prosperity for generations to come. >> you are the opposition and we go back a long way. >> she was 12, i was 30. but anyway, he confused macron with mitterrand and germany with france and mitterrand from germany, i mean from france. looked at me and said. said,

ladies and gentlemen, president putin, president putin, you cannot beat president putin, president zelensky, god bless you all. >> look, the amazing thing is you think these are sort of old clips from yesteryear. >> it continued to the very last day of the biden presidency. four years later, we still don't know what the hell he's saying. this is. >> last night i found myself with the former pope, who was much more conservative, and he wanted to see me after after i spent some time in poland, i came back and said, they're going to they're going to leave the warsaw pact. they're not going to be a year from now, there will be no, they're not

going to be part of nato, he said. don't write that. you'll ruin your reputation. >> laura. he really should travel with his own interpreter now to translate what he means, because he's making no sense. i mean, here he is four years later, stumbling, stuttering, wheezing to the very last moment. just yesterday at the defense department, they had to guide him to his spot because he didn't know where he was going. remember the blue spot they had to put on the floor? it's still in operation, apparently. >> well, raymond, the thing about this is for you and for me, this is old news because we were literally saying this five years ago. in 2019, we covered biden stumbles and we covered biden, beginning to show his age. and he's always been known as, you know, god bless him, kind of a goofball. but now, you see in real time, an elder in decline. and that's going to
1:58 am
be most of us, right in decline at some at some point. and it's sad to see. but you can't have a president in decline, right? >> you can't have a president in decline when the united states is facing adversaries and challenges we've never faced before. and today, laura, on x this morning, biden declared the equal rights amendment, the law of the land. there's only one problem. the national archivist says the 28th amendment has not been ratified. it is not the law of the land. and biden says he's the great defender of democracy. i mean, this is crazy. you can't just say something exists that doesn't exist when it pretends and points to the constitution that you've sworn to uphold. >> it's a tragedy. the best. the best is when larry o'donnell over there at msnbc, like nods and those cutaway shots biden is talking, he's going, yeah, well, you know, laura, kamala harris is also not going gently into that. >> good night. here's her

2:00 am
there was a time where, at the end of an administration, you at least said, well, he did some good things. and look, he really did fight for the republic here. it's the same old, same old once again. and it's kind of tragic, not only for him but for the american people. >> i'm focusing. i think we've done enough. biden i think i'm focusing on the future. i'm done with the bidens. okay. i want to focus on the future. i want to focus on trump's plans. i want to focus on the challenges, beating them and having a lot of fun in the new year. raymond, always great to see you. that is it for us tonight. we'll give you the report from the inauguration on monday night, all the festivities along the way. it's going to be a busy weekend and snowy one to make sure to follow me for all the hijinks on social media. remember, it is america now and forever. we survived joe biden, jesse watters, he takes it from here. have a great weekend. >> hello everyone. >> i'm judge jeanine pirro,
