these are anti-climb fences and they've been set up since earlier this week, about five days now they've been up and anti-climb faces made of several layers and around before and long after the inauguration back in 2021 because of the attack on l the capitol. however, they should be down at some point next week and signs seen all over the national mall to warn people to keep out. the fbidc and park police on hand and we joined them at training facility in urban, maryland, earlier this week as they prepared to move the motorcade from capitol to white house and plans are changing and one of the men in the vest and one of the agents wearing a sign that says potus role-playing as president of the united states. they have to make sure that everything is completely prepared. you actually see the beast, which is the presidential

motorcade and limousine to make sure everything is there. as far as how the rest of the situation will go over the next few days, a secret service spokesman tells me things are constantly changing because of the weather, but the priority obviously to keep people safe. but still, they don't expect to see near the crowds they would have seen had this been outside. guys. rachel: all right, thank you for that report. there's been rumors about possibly, you know, on the internet. there's been rumors maybe it wasn't the weather and maybe it's a security, and they're blaming it on the weather. what can you tell us to clear that up because there's definitely a lot of speculation out there. reporter: yeah, i spoke to someone with the secret service yesterday and asked the very question and said listen, security is always a concern, but this truly is a weather-related change. that's why this is being done.

president elect said it's being done, you know, to obviously make sure people are safe, you can't have people outside, especially the elderly in 15 degree windchill possibly even less with the windchill. and security is always a concern sos security source i spoke to is not going to say it's not a concern, but that's not the primary reason for moving things inside. it is the weather. rachel: all right, david, great report. thank you for talking on this issue. a lot of people are talking about it. joey: i was talking to a friend this morning and our colleagues support the secret service in that type of seventh that's the scuttle. that's all i know. haven't seen anything to substantiate it but it's an outdoor event for a president that's been attempted to be assassinated twice. i would understand if it were a cause of security to be honest with you. rachel: yeah. charlie: obviously one of the

biggest problems of security is the parade between the capitol and the white house. earlier we spoke so jenna who was the director of emergency department and hospital in butler, pa, where just six months ago it's kind of amazing to me that is six months ago it was like years ago that president trump was assassinated attempt and saved lives in butler. here's what she had to say about the parade. >> we were both at the rally site on july 13th. we prepared for the day and planned as appropriately as possible and no one planned for what occurred on that day. so we saw multiple patients throughout the day of heat-related emergencies, over 250 to be exact so i think that

really caught us by surprise. i think butler has always been the small town, tight knit close community and the events of that day have brought us closer together. >> certainly we're all humbled to be there and that's our biggest -- that's just the biggest thing here and going for the opportunity to honor cory's life and the fact that he gave all that day. joey: it's amazing these first responders get to be in the parade and honored and celebrating that and all that's happened when the assassination attempt happened, i don't to want assign blame but like the secret service was outright blaming the local pd and local support they got from and they quickly turned on that, but to go from being blamed for this and being celebrated for the work they did, that's great. that's what you expect from a president that supports law and order in the police officers and first responders.

investigated. first respond ibrams and fire fighters are working hard to get the blaze under control because the santa ana winds are expected to return next week and the clock is ticking. the palisades fire is the largest wild fire at this point at 39% containment. some evacuation orders have been lifted so residents can get back to they're home for the first time since january 7. thousands of structures destroyed including the one behind me. this is fox's. amazingly the sign survived but take a look at it in the daylight, nothing else made it. completely destroyed. this is a family-run restaurant that's been in the community for decades. it was originally built as a house in the 40s so the owner said even if they get the money
