have been waiting a long time for. you are watching a very special edition of "fox & friends first" on monday morning. i'm todd piro. >> carley: i'm carley shimkus, betty rivera to layout today's schedule. >> president-elect comp sworn in at the capitol rotunda behind me by noon eastern time but he begins this day across pennsylvania avenue. toby is currently staying at blair house, and here is the rundown of the events for today. he will start off at service sth tea and coffee posted by president biden and first lady, jill biden, at the white house. the swearing-in ceremony begins at 8:00 and then trump will deliver his inaugural address. vice president kamala harris will leave the capital after the ceremonies. trump to sign a series of executive orders after being sworn in and in his to the

capital to meet with supporters before heading to the white house for a signing ceremony in the white house. here is trump breaking down his plans last night at his d.c. rally. >> we will not be invaded. we will not be occupied to. we will not be overrun. we will not be conquered. we will be a free and proud nation once again, and that will take place tomorrow at 12:00. by wildfires. carley antarctica will get back to you. >> todd: and so it begins, donald trump design two executive actions on border security, energy independence and efficiency in some of the orders range from border security abolishing eei policies and even security clearances for intel officials. >> it's been a long four years, a nasty, for years. my administration will take immediate and decisive actions to confront every single problem america faces and put the nation back on the path to success and greatness. within hours of taking office, i will sign thousands of executive orders. we will not waste a single moment delivering on our promises to the people. >> carley: fox news digital political correspondence and reporter, brooke singman has exclusive reporting and joints has now, good morning, broke. >> good morning and happy inauguration day. >> todd: today is the day.

>> carley: exactly today is today and during tunnel trump speech yesterday he said to the supporters they will have a lot of fun watching tv as all of the executive order's and so what can we expect to take place? >> i'm sure he will be sworn and the office as the 47th president of the united states and traditional inaugural celebrations. fan, he is off to the races. he will declare a national security and to work with the department of homeland security to secure the southern border. trump will close the border to all illegal aliens and designate cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and reinstate remain in mexico. he will and catch and release and that is just border security. then he will ship to energy. we will see him take a number of executive actions. the senior official telling me he is going to unleash an american in their j. he will pause offshore leases and something he will do today.

and pull back a number of biden error executive orders and actions. he will end biden's electric vehicle mandate. you can expect him to sign in order to end the new deal and remove the united states from the paris climate records. he will take a lot of action today with regard to federal workforce. we will see him sign executive action in order for this but he will rollback all diversity, equity and inclusion programs across the federal government. a senior official who briefed me on all these actions today told me yesterday, the president is going to try to take back control over the federal bureaucracy. that is something we will see. i believe he will institute if hiring freeze and that is his work with federal government. to also establish biological sex definitions and we can expect to see him renaming historical places like the gulf of america. that is just a number of things

he is going to do today. now, trump has not signing 200 executive orders but it doesn't executive orders and inside thes of actions. so more than a dozen executive actions but what senior official described is omnibus executive orders, meaning they are wide-ranging and there will be dozens and dozens of actions inside of all of them. >> todd: donald trump has hundreds of people behind him writing these orders and making sure that they are ready to go and withstand scrutiny. how worried are they that whether democrats, outside groups, whatever, that they will receive a lot of pushback to the ceos and eas i don't know, starting tomorrow? >> to be honest with you i have not heard ray from the incoming trump administration. they are so excited and ready to

hit the ground running and that is what they are focus on today. of course, another thing i forgot to mention tiktok is back up and running. trump will extend time. to make before we move from the united states so it gives the company and the united states to secure national security and hopefully come up with a deal. one more thing, you know the hunter biden laptop saga, trump is going to revoke security clearances for those 51x national security officials who signed on to the letter october 2021. they said hunter biden's laptop had earmarks of russian disinformation campaign. that was the director john brennan, director of national intelligence john klapper and leon panetta as well. those are a few things we will expect to see from the president today. after that question, i have not heard anything, but i'm sure they are prepared with lawyers.

obviously, trump is very familiar with having to reach out to attorneys. >> carley: he certainly has him on speed dial. and during his speech last night he said somebody told him what you maybe you should slow down and just sign a couple today. let the rollout be casual so people can wrap their heads around what you are doing. he said, slow down! if you pause, and i in and so we will do it all at once. we will be a lot and heads will be spinning. they will be a lot of orders to talk about in the days to come here to thank you for joining us in reporting and breaking it it all down. jack brewer former nfl player and ceo of "the brewer foundation." 200 executive orders coming down at 12:00 today. america is certainly entering a new era. what does this era mean to you questioning. >> it means a lot. you know, momentum is hard to stop when offense is making big plays. president trump is making big plays.

it is so exciting for the american people to have a winning spirit against. i think that is what it is all about. when he says he reaches onto the american dream, that is exactly what he means. is not talking about americans who have seen prosperity. he is talking about those families that are reaching for prosperity and the young foe for donald trump. but believing in the country again and that is so important in the issues we are facing systematic and deep and run very deep. i think these executive orders will go at the heart of that to make sure that it's not just for the short term but being able to have a long-term plan for america prosperity so that we can keep that winning culture and our country. >> todd: let's broaden this out to the inauguration as a whole. what is the significance to you, check, the inauguration pulling on? >> it is humbling, would as humbling as a black american and as a man who works for the

underserved. it means so much. i was just with dr. alvina team. we were speaking about this. to have it on this day when this nation has gone through so much and we've had so much divisiveness and to have a president that so unifying, bringing in an african american voters of hispanic voters with 46% of the vote winning 46% of the asian vote. talk about the most unified our nation has ever been, races and colors coming together again and you just think, for five years ago, more racial tension and a pipe and we have seen really in a lifetime for many americans. so to have president trump represent a new republican party, a new republican party that is bringing together all of america is something that should excite us all, especially on mlk day. a day so historic and means so much not just to america but to the hope of the world. it really is a time we should

all celebrate. >> carley: speaking to the importance of today, donald trump is supposed to sign executive actions make public remaining records related to the assassinations that john f. kennedy and his brother are at the k and martin luther king jr. we will learn a little bit more about the assassinations of those great men. jack, you have been in washington, d.c., this week for so many different events related to today. tell us a little bit what it is like right now. who is there? who is excited? what are they saying to you, and what are their hopes for the next four years questioning. >> i have had a chance to see more children, more kids between the ages of eight and 14th and i've never seen at political events. these kids are understanding what this historic moment means. that is what is so special for me. i got a chance to spend time with veterans. we raised enough money to build three custom homes for veterans

sitting right next to new nominated secretary of defense, pete hegseth. it has been incredible to see all the americans rallied together, brook rowlands, a farm girl from texas being nominated to lead our department of agriculture. you have people like scott turner playing for national football league in the community helping the most underserved all entire life and now the secretary of hud. we have to remember we have dynamic cabinet and elon musk and feed vivek ramaswamy and we know the popular names but if you dig into the americans like sean duffy who will lead transportation, i had seen all of these folks. pam bondi who is going to lead attorney general's office. pam has committed her life to underserved and being the voice of the voiceless. so this country is really on the rebound. we have a lot to be excited about and so many women in the

thing we have two fear is fear itself! spay when we have all heard that line millions of times, but professor charles, educate us wt was such a powerful, enduring message, especially in the context when it was delivered right in the heart of the great depression. >> you are absolutely right, todd. what happened there, franklin roosevelt did, in fact, wet president trump did the core concerns of the american people. that particular line we have nothing to fear but fear itself was actually able to lift the nation not only through the great depression but onwards into world war ii and keep us moving forward. it is ironic how history repeats itself or perhaps it is instructive. but we are in that moment again where i hate to say, but the democrat party has fed the idea of fear. we have seen everywhere from afghanistan to russia to the middle east to trying to appease

countries. and interestingly, fdr in that early moment was much more like a reagan republican. he appalled to be liberal on a lot of things but in that moment as reagan used to say, the party had been a part of the democratic party walked away from him that he did not walk away from it. wet reagan dead and fdr did and trump did today, unify around the country that we have more in common than divides us. to pull us a direction that causes us to sort of look at the neighbor in a more friendly and more forgiving and more uplifting way. what fdr said completely timely again. we have nothing to fear but fear itself. we are americans. josephine went the most famous call courtesy of jfk. >> the torch has been passed to a new generation of americans born in this century, tempered

thinking about dependence and start thinking about independence, to start thinking what we could do for our neighbor, not asking the government for a handout. he set a tone. he cut taxes. he started the peace corps. he did all of these things that really reminded americans that we are best when we are self-reliant, when we are best when we look at our neighbor and think, gosh, i am proud to be an american. i am proud that is an american and we can together as americans. that is what i believe -- remember, jfk also pushed us the direction of going to the moon. big, outsize goals. i think donald trump will give us outsized goals and that the monkey on our back and say this is about the american people. they are liberty and ability to achieve. open the gates and go for gold. >> todd: robert charles, thank you for your insight on a historic moment. we appreciate it. trump ready to hit the ground

as possible and strengthening it for future generations. i'm sure that is something that weighs on the presidents mind every day. >> no, carley coach at that is exactly right. president trump has taken a bullet literally for this country and he is a good father and grandfather himself. it is obvious why he is doing this. he wants to make a better america for his children, his grandchildren, and soon, i'm sure, his great-great-grandchildren. this is what america is about sacrificing for the next generation so our kids and grandkids can have a better future make it better for everyone. this is what love is, and this is what america is all about. >> carley: thinking about donald trump's political trajectory, his first four years in office he was a political newcomer and didn't know a lot about washington, d.c. he said he made hiring mistakes. and then he had for years to think about it and entering the office with experience in a team of people around him the supports and are loyal to him.

that is a major difference. how will we see that difference unfold? >> we are already starting to see it right now, carley, the lack of leaks from the administration. remember, the first term, they were so many disloyal people that stepped down next and the trump administration, leaks, lies to advance their own agenda. and even before his own. he has a loyal team that is dead set and they learned you can't make mistakes. do you have to be careful who you trust. that is true for everything. so i think we will see a lot more dipped on and a lot less trauma because he's gotten it down to the loyal supporters on his team. people that love their country more than they love themselves so a very good thing and i'm excited for. >> carley: terry, thank you for joining us. >> thank you, carley. >> todd: for sheriff encouraging legal migrants to deport themselves before trump takes office later today.

walk and chew gum on this issue. that is, you can implement policies that absolutely enhances our homeland security and undercut it as we have seen the last four years under the biden administration. and you can actually hold people accountable. that is specifically places like sanctuary cities, who are prepared to shield these terrorists and criminals and their communities. and there needs to be consequences on this. law enforcement is on board here. you will see more and more and more that they will work with i.c.e. to identify these threats and get them out of the country. >> todd: but charles, biden is still present until a little bit before noon. what has i.c.e., dh border patrol have been able to do to prepare themselves andre administration, a boss, if you will, joe biden, who hasn't been very encouraging, let's say, at their activities?

it has to be tough to prepare for the inevitable that will happen at noon today when you have someone tying your hands for four years. >> that is right. it has served as the biggest morale booster by having president trump come back into office for both cdp and i.c.e. as you alluded to, they have been prevented from doing their jobs in enforcing the laws the last four years. instead have been mandated to assist with the processing of as many unfettered, illegal migrants into the united states. so the fact they have a commander in chief that is going to essentially freed them to do their jobs, they have been itching to wait for this. look, these men and women have been in these jobs for decades. they know the types of threats being allowed to come into the country. and none were happy about it. so the fact that they are being allowed to go identify with these threats are and get them out of the country, they are

readied to go out. >> todd: the inauguration outside the capital placing security will be tight. how do you approach anything like this, like this magnitude name of this importance? >> yeah, so this is a national special security event and puts the secret service in charge as the lead planning and coordination agency are to wait as a whole government approach of security regardless if this were in a tank where it has been moved indoors. i predict you will see the largest security footprint in inauguration history. it is well coordinated. the parameters go out miles to help identify any potential issues or problems far out away from the capitol. everybody has been working together on this planning for over a year. i think he will see it all come together. that you will not see significant change in the security plan based on the fact that there is not specific

or credible adverse intelligence. but we are in a heightened threat and the environment and that is being taken into consideration, of course. >> todd: i love to get granular on this and i don't know if you can do the same with national security concerns. guesstimate, what percentage will be visible and what percentage would you say nobody in d.c. will know that these individuals are randomly in buildings and randomly mixing with the crowd? what percentage would you say is visible and invisible? >> well, i would say the good thing with respect to the planning this inauguration as it should be is they are also leaving me guessing, which is a good thing. which means if i haven't figured it out yet, then the adversary shouldn't be able to figure it out. so they will put forth a comprehensive security plan. of course, you will see visible deterrence. he will see a large presence, including the national guard. but of course, they will be things going on behind the

donald trump accomplishes today by signing executive orders and of course over the next four years? how can that impact your business? >> i hope that he can complete keystone xl pipeline. it is a big thing for us. the new incoming prime minister of canada, i think he would be able to work with him to off and bring a lot of oil and two other refineries. the big one for us is the lg exporting. the facilities need built. we are sitting on the natural gas and the world and know where to send it. and buying it from russia. tobit is a win-win for america and revenue to america at that cost tax dollars to the american citizens. >> carley: right now, i am reminded four years ago today when joe biden signed that executive order that killed the keystone xl pipeline and it
