4:16 am
they were rejected. their viewnts weren't listened to. and now they are going to finally be back in charge. >> brian: one thing, peter baker story in the "new york times" today. and i always think peter is fair but most of the stories are negative about trump. and that's just his view. well, today his view is defined is out. deference is in. trump returns to a different washington. and now the other story we're not going to talk about that much today but in the weeks and years to come is who hid joe biden's cognitive decline on the inside and who in the media knew it was happening and didn't tell us. hakeem jeffries got that question yesterday and he had a pause and schumer's story a couple of days ago that came out and talked about how he had to explain to him how bad his poll numbers. >> lawrence: we knew once the end was over. >> steve: absolutely. >> lawrence: then people were going to start singing. >> steve: one at a time and then the flood greats are going to open. as of noon today, the flood gates will open.

4:18 am
this time i have everything. i have the plans. i can move. in i already packed. i already selected, you know, the furniture that needs to go in. so, it's very different transition this time, second time around. >> brian: that wasn't fdr. >> lawrence: we can roll with the first lady, too. >> ainsley: brian was talking about some of the past speeches and some of the historic moments so maybe we will be able to get that in just a second. up about then the next topic after that we were talking about is melania moving back into the white house the second time. she says it's a lot easier the second time around she described had her book how challenging it was the first time they wouldn't letter go in and see the lay of the land how to decorate. moving vans, all these guys that come in and out. i'm sure they have vans. it's the staff that doesn't. it's the butlers, housekeepers. they go through and move them out. bidens out and melania and
