first baptist church will be attending the national prayer service later today. before that, he joins us now. good morning to you. how important is the message from the president of the united states saying he firmly believes god saved his life? >> well, i actually voiced that sunday night at the preinaugural dinner with the prayer with president trump and mrs. trump. i said it was god who intervened. i believe the president believes that. we have a president who believes in the power of prayer. i have known him for ten years. he has many times asked and small settings or large settings to pray. i remember one time i was in the oval office and there was a powerful general there. president trump said, you know, general, when you think about it, robert is more powerful than you are. the general looked perplexed. president trump said no, think about it every day robert talks to the one who controls everything that happens in the
