how does your bill do that? >> well, we -- this bill is a bill that i've had for several years. it is time has come and one reason for that is because president trump has made so many executive orders in the last 48 hours and incredibly, he is determined to seal that border and secure our border. when he wrote that executive order we welcome these lawsuits because these lawsuits be are being filed by aclu, and blue states and cities, we want to codify what he's doing with an executive order and pass this bill, get it through the house, senate and have president trump sign it into law so next president can't come along, another joe biden, and overturn

president trump is trying to take for the american people. >> carley: yeah. this is also new. the white house budget office has restricted disbursement of funds to the inflation reduction act to be used for the green new deal and electric vehicle mandates. you are talking about the choice thing earlier. joe biden said that 50% of cars sold by the year 2030 had to be evs. you go car dealerships and they are saying no one is buying them. we have this fleet of cars that nobody wants to touch. so it has to be done by demand. let consumers choose and if they choose that ev, that's something that they want, then we will ramp up production that way. how do you feel about that. >> you are absolutely right. what most people don't understand in order to mandate the evs they were going to have to force the price of gasoline powered cars. 50% or two thirds evs that means august the gasoline powered cars would have to double and triple in price in order to get people to buy
