90,000 irs agents that were hired by the biden administration, he says he's going to send down to the southern border to help with immigration enforcement efforts. >> can you imagine a bunch of dockedorks that think they're gg to work at the irs suddenly they're going to the border. rachel: they're doing paperwork down there. >> we have chanly with us on the administration's deportation plans. >> good morning. so the trump administration's mass deportation operation is active on the west coast with round-ups beginning in sanctuary city los angeles over the weekend according to the new york post and since trump took office six days ago, hundreds of criminal migrants have been arrested every day by federal immigration agents. white house officials sharing images of deportation flights taking off daily including some from military c17 planes but the white house is looking to scale up those operations by seeking more available aircraft from at least a half dozen sources.

at the rally in las vegas yesterday, president trump said he's considering moving irs agents to the border. watch. >> day one, i immediately halted the hiring of any new irs agents. you know, they hired -- [cheers and applause] >> they hired or tried to hire 88,000 new workers to go after you and we're in the process of developing a plan to either terminate all of them or maybe we'll move them to the border. >> here are the latest numbers from i.c.e., as of saturday, more than 1400 illegal migrants have been arrested and more than 1200 detainer requests have been lodged with local authorities. now the feds are reportedly having to scout out more spaces to house migrants as current detention sites are expected to fill up rather quickly, guys. rachel: thank you. >> good stuff. rachel: well, these deportations initially were the

reaction from the democrats was this is bad and we thought they were going to all react negatively to it. it looks like some of them are reacting to the people, to the constituents and they're changing their tune a little bit. one of them is massachusetts governor maura healy. here is her before talking about deport stations. >> if the trump administration requested would the massachusetts police assist in mass deportations. >> absolutely not. every tool in the toolbox has to be used to protect our sit sevens, protect our residents, protect other state. i wouldn't describe it as raids. it's what we expected and what i support which is the apprehension of criminals in our communities. >> so elections do have consequences it turns out. >> did you hear what she said? we're going to do everything we can to protect our citizens. these are not citizens.

they're going to protect the citizens, you're going to get the criminal illegal aliens, that's the legal term and you're going to apprehend them and you're going to send them back from whence they came. rachel: she did change her mind. the first clip was her saying no, we're not for this and the next one she is like yeah, we were expecting this, we're going to protect people. >> some of these people are murderers and rapists. i'm not saying they all are. i'm saying the criminal element, they're allegedly committing these crimes and when they're detained by the local law enforcement for allegedly committing these crimes, they should be cooperating with i.c.e. they're still a sanctuary state. they still have a long way to go. boston and the others, they have got to cooperate with i.c.e. that would be cooperating with the federal government. >> we have to make sure that nobody ever forgets that they are the ones that invented these illegal sanctuary cities, sanctuary states. they did it purposefully,

intentionally, and if they didn't -- maybe they didn't intend for all of the crime and mayhem that came but anybody could have predicted it, in fact people sat around predicting it for years. rachel: smart democrats know that immigration and the open borders is a big reason why they lost. donald trump never wavered on that. >> whether they're having conversions or not, i'm doubtful any of them ever do, they see the polling, their own internal polling and they realize their own people are ready to walk away from them forever over this issue more than anything else. rachel: that's right. we've been talking about culture and how culture has changed because donald trump has sort of taken over in a big way, everything from ymca being the hottest song to we just had girls gone bible, a podcast that's surging up the podcast charts and those young ladies, beautiful young ladies did the

flight data shows the plane sudden i did dropped 1,000 feet only about an hour and-a-half after taking off. the airline says they're working with investigators in both countries to try to figure out what caused it. president trump is denying reports that he is in talks with oracle to buy tiktok but still promising a solution to the app's impending u.s. ban. telling reporters, quote, numerous people are talking to me, very substantial people about buying it. i'll make that decision probably over the next 30 days. if we can save tiktok i think it would be a good thing. i would only do it if the united states benefits. during the campaign cycle, vice president jd vance jokingly promised he would put a stop to the potential collaboration between skyline chili and grader's ice cream but he wasn't able to get it done as it's set to hit the stores nationwide tomorrow. it combines the ice cream and

and will be in the cabinet of a republican president and we're going to keep pushing her through. i think too they are very fearful of kash patel because kash patel knows what adam schiff and some of the others did with russia collusion and they know that he -- knows the dirt on them, if you will, and i think they're fearful of what he's going to do and what he's going to reveal and what he's going to make known to the american people. >> and they recognize that one thing kash patel is very devoted to is bringing transparency to what's going on in washington. >> so true. exactly right. >> so to what degree with rfk junior like tulsi gabbard do you think democrats might hold it against them? because i think you're right. i think that one of the things that really, really enraging them is that these are former

democrats and they feel like they have to -- i think it just drives them crazy and makes them so mad that these are democrats who found a way to work on common sense solutions with president trump. >> you're exactly right about that. it does make them angry and so they're wanting to punish them and the way they can punish them is to withhold their vote or to slow down their nomination. rfk junior is going to do a great job at hhs and i tell you one thing. he is going to help us find these 300,000 children. i've been trying to find these kids since it was 75,000 and the biden administration has never responded to where these children are. rfk is going to get in there. he's going to rework cms with dr. oz. he is going to work with marty mccarry to straighten out the fda, he's going to work with dr.

botichari at nih. people want to know what happened with covid. i think we'll be able to find out what happened. people want to know why you are seeing certain things be slow walked through the fda and changes and stopping a revolving door at the fda and president donald trump and rfk junior are going to make that happen. i am looking forward to them getting to work aggressively. when you look at what marco did in his first few days and the way he halted foreign aid for 90 days and has brought this forward for review, this is a president, this is a cabinet that is not wasting any time. they are acting on the mandate the american people gave president donald trump and they are fulfilling the promises that he made and it truly is a promises made, promises kept week that we have had.

items for the israeli military and they say the entire agreement is in jeopardy. one of the names is arbel habud, a young woman who was being to be exchanged over the weekend but wasn't on the release. israel stopped palestinians from returning to northern gaza, something they would be allowed to do as part of the cease fire. yesterday the idf fired warning shots at a group of civilians approaching a crossing to the north causing people to scatter. >> since 4:00 until now, we have been waiting for them to open the checkpoint. god willing, they will open it and we will return to our homeland. god willing, everyone will return to their homes, their land and their lives. >> reporter: while the cease fire deal remains on shaky ground, israel learned the trump administration unfroze the delivery of 2,000-pound bombs from the united states, they were frozen under the biden administration due to the civilian casualty rate in gaza. the bombs could be used for a conflict that may resume any

minute between israel and hezbollah in the north amid renewed tension there, or if the war resumes inside gaza against hamas. charlie. charlie: thank you, trey. stay safe. let's turn now to chief meteorologist rick reichmuth for our fox weather forecast. rick. >> charlie, we've had such a rough couple weeks with the fires in california and then unbelievable snow across parts of the south. things are going to moderate a little this week. we have a couple of good stories that are happening. one of them is rain and snow across parts of southern california. we had the fires and the fires have happened because we had such incredible drought, one of the dryest winter rainy seasons we've ever had, now we finally have our first winter storm coming in here. it started last night. it's going to be with us throughout the day today, into tonight and early tomorrow. it will be rain, eventually we'll see snow across the higher elevations. this is also going to bring rain across parts of arizona which is also much needed so we've got the rain today , tonight. temperatures are going to remain

cool but that ground saturating is certainly going to help. want to show you what happens over the next certain days. i think our overall pattern is going to bring a few more shots of precipitation across parts of the southwest which is good news. we've got the rain and snow here. we start to see a new storm developing around parts of the four corners bringing mountain snow to arizona. this is tuesday into wednesday. and that storm becomes a big rain maker here across parts of texas and louisiana and arkansas. this is one spot we could be seeing severe weather with this. watch out. maybe for a tornado or two but certainly the threat for flooding but temperatures improving a lot compared to where we've been, today getting to 65 in new orleans. we had snow almost 9 inches deep in new orleans which broke all kinds of records this week so jason, getting up to 60s is going to feel really good for people across parts of the south. >> can't get past the idea of snow in new orleans but yeah, thanks, rick. >> you bet. >> president trump wasting no time highlighting america first from the global stage at the

they react to what the president was saying. maria: well, you are spot on, jay so. thank you so much. it was standing room only when president trump was on the big screen talking to all of the attendees at the world economic forum. i've got to tell you, president donald trump's name was in every conversation, it was on everybody's list. he wasn't there, but, man, was he dominating the conversation and when he gave that speech everybody was talking about his policies with good reason because he's talking about these policies and is actually moving the needle on investment. can you believe that just in three days in his first three days in the oval office president trump was able to announce $1.1 trillion in new investments into the united states? that is the $500 billion stargate project, the a.i. infrastructure and datacenters project led by oracle and open a.i. and then you've got another $600 billion that he announced that he got the saudis to commit to and he was so funny because

when he gave the press conference about the saudi money, he said, yes, i spoke to mbs and he said that he's going to invest $600 billion in america but i'm going to tell him that, look, we should have a nice really beautiful round number, let's make it a trillion. but that's because you've got a businessman in the oval office and he understands what it is to move the needle on growth, growth is now the priority. people are waking up this morning and they're feeling good. they're feeling good that their family can be safe and secure because his deportation and securing the border plans are underway as we speak and they feel good because they think their lives are about to get better because of these policies. everybody was talking about the deregulation policies, jason and at one point i spoke with the president of microsoft, brad smith, and he said the europeans are now having executive order envy. they want to do their own executive orders because they recognize the power of deregulation now. i suspect we're going to see
