see how long this last the president said this is about fentanyl about flooding over open borders about all things that he thinks they have power to fix. and says you know you fix it then i think these tariffs will come down or go away. tariffs are something that president have been using for a long time and president trump did acknowledge on friday listen, there may be some temporary up tick in pricing and problems with this but he says he thinks people will understand. so we'll see. we're just talking about eggs i don't know if people are going to be okay with things getting more expensive. >> how do we find out what it is that president trump wants countries to do specifically. we sit here and debate whether tariffs will hurt us but what if countries won't have tariffs? shannon: i don't know if we have step by step but language in laying out tariffs it was clear that fentanyl was big issue that open borders was a big issue so he's saying listen, do those things clean that up and sounds like messaging there will be some relief. now we know already that both of the countries have done things

in response the last few weeks so what trump said was coming. we know that there are, you know, better cooperations with mexico and trying keep people away from the border and look at numbers people knowing they can't come here as freely as they could that's a big cutback too but the president made a big point of saying this is about fentanyl mexico says you guys have a drug problem you figure that out. he says you guys stop, you know, cooperating coordinating with chinese interests that get it across our border. that's a big issue. rachel: i mentioned yesterday we had phil flynn oil expert who said he believes that -- any kind of increase in price as cost of goods as you mentioned he believes should be offset by the deregulation of oil and drill, drill, drill policies of donald trump. so that's one take on it. shannon: he wants to get domestic energy production ramped up but it does take time and made promise making things easier on that industry and when

fuel price come down this impacts everything else. everything else has been transported groceries, goods all of these things. >> eggs. charlie: we're seeing real politics in new york trying keep elise stefanik after nominated to ambassador to united nations, how's all of that going to play out? >> you know, it looks like we may get her vote on this week of being ambassador to the u.n. only at that point resign from the house. you know how tight the margins there are there so democrats at the state level there in new york are apparently having a conversation about changing the way that they handle these elections normally it would be within ten days of her announcing resignation governor would have to announce a date for the election to fill it within 830090 days later some of the reporting out of albany democrats control state house there in new york, that potentially they would want to move to june or even november as

activities like bungee jumping. >> when you look at trees and go through rings and you see literally when jesus was born is one of the rings. >> exactly. and thing about sequoia that is so sphact significant is the bark is about two feet thick. i mean when you think about that, that's what makes these trees so resilient and go to general sherman and realize this is the largest tree by volume on earths. you're sitting there going wow i'm a tiny aunt. >> you mentioned general sherman is a tree that you really communed with out there? >> it is ones that aren't nailed nailed -- named they will like they're hugging you back. >> you can hug like one 64th of this. >> i can't get it partly around the tree trunk. charlie: what's your favorite adventure, obviously, bungee

jumping aside because that's really dangerous and suicidal i would say. really -- but like is there a spot that you just find in one of the significant places that you connect you to god? >> that is such a good question you know i do say why i feel so blessed is the closest ever to god because of the way that you see what park have been formedon if i have one particular spot i really love this time around we've been to yosemite before we did valley screw this -- valley view i did the cable hike and everything. but i think it is just looking out and seeing the way god has shaped our nature that we can enjoy today. >> we're blessed that you're introducing it to the country so thank you so much. great to see you more fox and friends weekend next.
