realizing after november's election that all the extreme anti-trump rhetoric was not helping them with voters, but some democrats in d.c. have not. emily? >> peter doocy, thank you. kennedy, we saw a lot they are, but i want to focus on this point, which is that on the meter of freak outs, what is this proposed impeachment indicating to you? apparently, legislating or representing constituents, representing that 74 million americans -- off the table apparently with those democratic lawmakers? >> what they're doing is fighting to keep corrupt bureaucratic state in place, which costs taxpayers a lot of money, and people are finally waking up to realize that the government takes their money and then wastes their money and makes their lives very difficult. this is falling on deaf ears. everyone has heard this chorus over and over and over again.

it's 2025. hysteria doesn't sell: action does. unfortunately, they aren't offering action in terms of counterproposals, ideas, data-driven solutions. what they are offering is violent action. we've already seen a president who was reelected in the face of two assassination attempts. my fear is that these people are trying to fan up so many hysteria, with their followers that might be unwell, that they are trying to see that come to fruition. we can't have that in this country. with this mandate, with the presidency, the senate, and the house, people are saying "we want a better way." this is not better. it's an old playbook but it's also very dangerous. >> and this outrage. where's the outrage over what the audit is uncovering? how are we watching democratic lawmakers be affronted at the notion of cleaning house, stewarding -- wisely -- the tax

buckley and a radical guy i liked named gregory. gregory was dest destroyed by wm buckley, the argument. at one point, he said "you are stupid." and i said to myself "you can say a lot of things about buckley, but he wasn't stupid." that changed my thinking. i wonder how many young people look at the hysteria of that democratic mob, and then the substance of what trump is doing, and are thinking sort of the same thing i did. >> i'm curious about something, harris. we started to see an immediate reckoning, and immediate accountability that this administration is holding elected officials to. we saw with tom homan, border czar last hour where he said harboring an illegal is a felony, obstructing justice is a felony. they are putting their money -- or taking their money away -- where it counts. my question specifically is we have seen congresspeople in the past being held to account, censored for peddling lies, and being quite reckless with the

rhetoric. are we going to see an accounting and censoring of these lawmakers that are calling for violence? >> what happens is -- and i put the freak out actually in proportion with potential cover-up. what are they so afraid we are going to find out? the more we find out, is not only embarrassing for them, but it makes it fair to question are there relationships around the world with which our leaders have untoward behavior are they doing things with her money we should know about, that maybe we wouldn't be okay with? we only know that if we have in a forensic, daylight to show us what's going on. directly -- an answer to question, accountability will come when we know the truth. i think the outing of that information will be countability enough. it will shame them to the point where they don't have the jobs and politics they have because no we will for them, or they have to answer for things that can't be found that were

president trump had promised, and that was for transparency. tom homan last hour was telling me "there has been an intel leak close quotes. they believe with some of the tips given to these gang members. he said "we want those reporters with us, but how can we do that?" there is a suspicion that they now have to get to the bottom of to give the rest of this transparency. it sounds like something democrats might love: if we can't see what's going on. >> it's unfortunate, because there are certain actors who are working in concert with each other to protect people. in some of that show some of these lawmakers passed out when some of these governors, lawmakers, mayors talk about our residents -- that's who you are protecting. 87% of people, according to michael goodwin's reporting in "the new york post," are in favor of deporting criminal illegal aliens, and they are not talking about people who are seeking asylum, who are looking to work and better themselves in this country. you have to make a strong differentiation. we are talking about people who

are in transnational criminal gangs, who would love to take over entire neighborhoods. they wish to harm and murder and extort and do whatever they can. with that money, they are paying people off -- tips so they can make themselves safe. they're trying to cut off the process, cut the chain it so that doesn't continue to happen, so people can enjoy basic safety in this country. >> this tells me how long this has been going on, and how deep these cartels and gangs were able to get cash into our society without anybody bothering them. >> it's astonishing. when i heard they were going to be doing this incredible role, my shoulders came down a little bit. i walk through midtown manhattan all the time. the roosevelt hotel is right over here, full of people who are here illegally. it is just anxious, even in this

city. i know that people out there are nervous, scared. the idea that she's going to make some changes, i hope she can. i hope she does. i hope she is empowered to do it. >> emily, talk to me about what people like this governor and some of these democrat voters -- not voters, governors -- can it- they are working against the voters. i think what they are doing is not legal, but they say it is? >> it's not, and it's not reflective of what americans want to come up to your point. i think it's, frankly, hilarious tongue and cheek that they cartels are sitting back and watching these feckless liberal bleeding heart types with their big microphones in the parking lots. the governors that just want to curry favor with a tiny bit of their voters, doing the bidding of these ferocious, violent cartels that have brought such violent criminal acts on the forefront of our territory. if there's one thing any of us have learned through history it's that the federal government

wins. when we play the power game, the fed wins over the states. the microcosm in california. san jose county, where bambi larson for example was bludgeoned to death by an illegal immigrant with a recidivist criminal history, multiple detained requests. in that county alone, there are about 1,000 per year detainer requests that the city ignores, 30 of whom are for murder. when gavin newsom, governor, said "we are going to spend $25 million of your taxpayer dollars defending these criminals under auspices of -- criminals" under auspices of bleeding heart compassion, and more going to another fund that got opened up for public debate. what happened? two seconds later, "we retract that, are not going to do that anymore." the instant it was open to a weigh-in by the voters, they extinguished the offer. that's the delusion coming out of these governors. >> this is open to the voters. november 5th, they said, and now

>> president trump is set to become the first sitting president to be at the super bowl when he attends the sunday. is adding to the build up behind the game between the kansas city chiefs and the philadelphia eagles, and also the security. eric tenney has the latest on the massive preparations from new orleans. >> new orleans is blanketed by security this week leading up to the super bowl, from the air to the land to the waters of the mississippi, where we are with air and marine operations today as they patrol the waters, looking for anything suspicious, whether that's human smuggling, counterfeit merchandise, drugs, or terrorism. they are one of the 2,000 or more officers and the federal agency agents making sure they are safe this week. the increased security is especially noticeable on bourbon street, after the isis-inspired terror attack on
