bowl. it is news, i didn't realize it's the first time a u.s. sitting president has gone to a game. that hasn't happened before, charlie? charlie: no. it's not valentine's day, right? rachel: no, it's on friday. i'm giving you a heads up. [laughter] you couldn't remember how many years you were married yesterda- charlie: i met a guy yesterday who said he has his phone set to to remind if him when it's valentine's day -- rachel: good idea. charlie: he has an alarm on his phone. basically, it comes up with options. griff: have you shopped yet for your wife? charlie: for -- griff: valentine's day. recovery day, don't have so to get up and go straight the school or work. it's fascinating, isn't it, rachel, that there's never been a sitting u.s. president to attend a super bowl. i hadn't realized that. it seems like something that would have happened. donald trump has been to so many sporting events that it seems so natchal that later this afternoon he's going to walk in here to caesar's superdome which, by the way, here i am standing on the field right now. super bowl lix, chiefs-eagles. i'll take you on a little stadium tour later, but, yeah. i'll tell you, the superdome holds up. for as long as it's been through, it's a pretty good looking dome as you stand here at field level. griff: is it first come, first served? can you carve out your seat right there? because that's a good spot right where you are. will: yeah. that's why we got up early, griff. [laughter] griff: and we've got to talk about the game too later in the show, will, because i fail to recognize that while i am taking the chiefs and i've already given my prediction, 27-24, chiefs win, i didn't realize that the entire eagles' defense are university of georgia guys.

and my daughter, i'm a bulldog fan. will: oh, yeah. griff: because my daughter went to georgia. so that's something to factor in. if. will: i forgot you're a big georgia guy. it's true, philadelphia's known as sort of, like, the graduate school for the university of georgia. they're full of bulldogs on the eagles. i guess we'll all be on pins and needs if you -- feedings if you flip your pick, griff -- charlie: you can't. i've already staked out the eagles to win -- griff: are we betting on this in. charlie: yeah. will: yeah, charlie, you did it yesterday in front of the kansas city chiefs' cheerleaders. valentine's day's the least of your worry, charlie. [laughter] charlie: and then you told them. there's a word for it, i can't think of what the term is, but it's not the first time -- griff: all right, let's make a wager. i've got the chiefs, you've got the eagles. if the chiefs win, you have to come to soul cycle. rachel: who do you think's going to win? charlie: oh, or i'll do that.

never if made it. rachel: you ended up in a bar. griff: it was fun. charlie: so it may be super bowl weekend, but that doesn't mean news has stopped especially with the trump administration. elon musk is responding to a federal judge who blocked doge from there if accessing treasury records. he went on his formerly known as twitter, x, to say that this ruling is absolutely insane. how on earth are we supposed to stop the fraud and waste of taxpayer money without looking at how money is spent? that's literally impossible. something super shady is going on to to protect scammers. you know, he's got a very good point here -- rachel: yeah. charlie: and it is a very important constitutional question. the idea that you have an unelected person -- and i love how democrats are always worrying about the unelected people -- rachel: right. charlie: you have an unelected person in the judiciary who has decided that the elected person in america, donald trump, the person he picked to streamline the executive branch which the

president is the executive of, he's not allowed to have access to the records inside treasury or other departments in which, where he can treatmentline his -- streamline his executive branch. it is extraordinary the. this is a rogue judge, and, you know, i suspect in time he's going to to get blown out. rachel: well, let's hope he does. by the way, there are changes now to how you can get your money that's been allocated to you through the government. so all payments must include a rationale, and they've also implemented do not pay lists which include fraudulent entities, terrorist groups, etc. i heard earlier elon musk talking about how much fraud, how many false social security numbers and payments going out the people. this is, like, easy money to scoop up for us. there's, like, a tracker now of all the a money we're saving.

griff: yeah. rachel: it sounds like pennies when you look at the entire budge, but these things add up. griff: no, no, no, it's jaw-dropping. musk elaborated saying this, yesterday i was told -- to be your point, rachel -- there are currently over 100 billion, with a b, of entitlements payments to individuals with no social security is number or even a temporary id number. if accurate, this is extremely suspicious. when i asked if anyone at treasury had a rough guess of what percentage that number is unequivocal and obvious fraud, the consensus in the room was about a half. so $50 billion a year or $1 billion a week. this is utterly insane and must be if addressed immediately. you're talking about -- rachel: why wasn't it addressed before? if. griff: well, exactly. you're talking about making payments potentially to people whose name shows up on the books that they can't identify, we don't know who it is --

rachel: so let's just send the check out anyway. griff: this is a guy, an unelected person, this is a billionaire ceo that started paypal that was successful, that started tesla and was successful, that anticipatorred spacex. this is -- that started spacex. this is the type of builder, leader that can look at his own books and his company and say is, wait a minute, where's money going to that -- that we're just sending into with thin air? you would think you would want a e guy to account for that. why wasn't it done before? why wasn't there an individual or an entire department within treasury whose sole job was to track even a single dollar that was going into thin air. >>? rachel: yeah. it's absolutely insane. what people are seeing isn't just that elon musk is fixing things, they're seeing how bad -- things are worse than we thought they were. sunlight is the best disinfectant, and that's what we have going on now.

another thing we're seeing is donald trump, once again, you know, remember when he said all things will be revealed, you know? [laughter] and as he takes office, he's also saying, you know what in there's a lot of bad people here that a shouldn't have secret service clearance. and so now he's revoking these clearances from eight more democrats. heres. former secretary of state antony blinken, you see lee tissue is shah that james, alvin bragg, andrew andrew weissmann, lisa upon coe, jake sullivan -- monaco, jake sullivan. he removed the secret service clearance from joe biden yesterday or the day before. you guys, get ready. i think that barack obama's next. griff: we shall see. you know, it was interesting, some of those with the security clearances being revoked, an attorney posted on social media, or i'm going to fight this -- mark if zaid.

rachel: i was saying secret service, security clearances. sorry about that, guys. fluff give it's going to be interesting to see if there are challenges, if they hold up. president trump has a leg to stand on. charlie: the idea of revoking clearances to people like alvin bragg and letitia james here in new york is going to be probably a hard thing to enforce since they'll be, they routinely go into these buildings anyway, but it is a hot across the bow, and -- a shot across bow, and it is a reminder that president trump is not, he's not going to give up the search and the effort to expose people who use the justice system for political means to go after him. and he should go after them. rachel: charlie, what -- beyond not getting information that, you know, being able to looked at certain documents or, as you said, getting into building, maybe people out there want to understand, what is the value to these individuals of having this

security clearance and having it revoked somewhat happens to your life? charlie: so the thing that's different for alvin bragg and letitia james, they're in courtrooms. they're prosecutors here in new york, so they have to go into these courtrooms. but in terms of getting security clearances for all these other people, it's a money-making scheme. it's a way that these -- they become lobbyists, basically, for hire for anybody who wants to hire them, and it gives them access the you are nation -- to our nation's secrets. and they maintain them in their retirement even though they have no responsibility to the government, they're not working for the government anymore. they're working for, you know, whatever -- and, obviously, there are all kinds of rules governing who they can work for, but, you know, who knows? i mean, i don't have a whole lot of faith in those rules. none of these people particularly care about rules when it comes to all the other aspects of life. so basically, it's like a

protected cottage try of these former intel officials who make money and trade on their access to government secrets. and i think it's disgusting. i think they all should have -- griff: that's why mark zaid is fighting it, because it's money in his pocket. meanwhile, we all woke up to snow here in new york city. millions of americans remaining under winter weather alerts. rachel: that's right. heavy snow and ice slam the northeast overnight. griff: fox weather meteorologist mike seidell is up in boston and joins us now. good morning, mike. how does it look? >> reporter: good morning. beautiful sunny morning here boston common. we expect hundreds out here later in the in the common, they'll be with sledding down that hill. it's not much of a hill, but enough to go down. gravity will take you down through. what we have is a solid 4 inches of snow. a little bit of an underachiever. knowfall totals from the

northeast, basically 3-5, new york city, long island, connecticut and also western massachusetts ask and right here, generally 4-5 inches of snow. temperature right now, not bad, 28 degrees, wind chill's 18. later today we'll be in the low 30s. and with daylight, the roads here are already in good shape. hay threw a lot of salt down -- they threw a lot of salt down, recent storms as recent as thursday, so it's going to be to easy to get around. the three new york city airports, laguardia, newark and ken -- kennedy, have canceled about 5-6% of flights. meanwhile, here at logan, 15% of the flights scheduled outbound. it's beginning to the stay chillier than average in the northeast. we've got a series of storms, the next one is tuesday and and tuesday night. new york city south, in the boston really. it's going to be -- not boston.

[laughter] believe it or not, jonathan's on fox notice ya withs a lot because he does a very good job speak spanish. this is an english interview. he's following through with the promises he made to the people who helped elect him. >> with yeah. and i've beening shocked by how much -- been shocked by how much cynical and mean stuff has been directed at the president after he announced this. people saying, what do you mean, anti-christian bias in america? that's faith office in the government? that's ridiculous. but think about those levers of society, of real cultural influence that we have. universities. is christianity respected in academia today? i don't think so. how about hollywood? what if you start talking about your christian faith in

hollywood? you're laugh ared at. you're marginalized. hi of the news media. how many -- think of the news media. how many prominent, prominent christian people in the news media today? i'll tell you this, we are the only national channel right now doing a segment like this about the faith office, i can assure you -- rachel: in a positive way. >> in a positive way. so the fact that a there is christian bias, i think, is very ration rational, and i'm so glad the president is saying government is supposed to serve the people. we have a religious people. we are a religious nation. let's make sure that the people are served. rachel: yeah, or absolutely. there's been this effort to to sort of really change american history and the history of who we are and this idea that, you know, the neutrality about religion if not hostility. but you're right, our thats are christian. >> yeah. and if you think about what the founding fathers were worried

about, they were worried that government was going to the get involved in church, right if that's why the establishment clause. the government should not establish a religion -- rachel: right. as they did in england. >> and also we should not enact any law that's going to prohibit, the free exercise of religion. so the founding fathers were more concerned about government getting in the way of our religious practice. rachel: yes. >> and i think what president trump is saying is let's make sure that's not happening today in new ways which cultural elites are actually keeping us from being involved in society if we are the a majority. rachel: and even outside of our country we've covered the christian persecution around the world a lot on this show in particular, and they will tell you every, every person who has been involved in that fight to protect christians who aring being persecuted, number one religion persecuted in the world is christianity x. they will tell you they never had more support than when donald trump was in office. that's another component as a well. donald trump, as you know,

rick: welcome back to "fox & friends." all right, we had this big winter storm across much of the northeast, a lot of areas 4, 5, 6 inches of snowing, and it's melting pretty quickly. temperatures down across the south still really warm but across parts of the north colder. 33 degrees in new york city. that's melting the snow kind of already, and we're going to see

that throughout much of the day today. you see this storm track still kind of west to east across the country. this is the storm we had yesterday and into the overnight hours. most of this is gone. a little more snow if up towards boston, parts of coastal maine many. now we have another storm. this is the chance of a big snow for this coming week. you'll notice i think our biggest chances are going to remain across parts of new england. that said, we will see snowacross the i-95 corridor as a well, same goes across parts of much of the great lakes really. take a look at today's eye temperatures, not that bad -- high temperatures. we're starting to see this front move n a bit of a dip in the jet stream is going to cool temperatures down. but one more day of nice temperatures in towards new orleans. obviously, the game inside, with but we are going to see a few showers coming in towards the new orleans area throughout the day today. charlie, over to you. charlie: thank you, rick. turning now to your headlines,

officials say all major pieces from the american airlines-black hawk helicopter crash have now been recovered. the ntsb conducting an overnight scan of the potomac river to locate any additional debris. all of the recovered pieces are now in a secure airport facility for examination where the ntsb say investigators continue to look into the mid-air collision which killed all 67 people aboard the two crafts. new da data from the cbp shows how the trump-homan approach is working. one memo describing how 23 illegals stopped this their journey in honduras after learning of the increased border security online through family. another describes how a group of 26 also turning back with upon learning about tighter or or border security once they made it to nicaragua. border czar tom homan is set the

what's going to be the home of super bowl lix. one of the stories, griff, that you probably, everyone has seen for years now the nfls has this in their end zone, end racism at the end of every end zone. that's been replaced. they took that off. in its place now, i don't know if you can see from the angle that we are, but in the eagles' end zone it says choose love right here at the base of the end zone. at the end of the chiefs' end zone, it says it takes all of us. now, that's the new messaging here at the super bowl. i want to point this out as well. griff, i don't know exactly where he's going to be sitting, but i've been kind of looking for the secret service protective glass. you can see the suite level of the superdome. runs all the way around, of course, the entire dome. but that will be where president trump is sitting, i'm assuming one of these suites. you know, i was fortunate enough to visit with the president at the army-navy game back in early december, and you'll have protective glass up over the president's suite.

it's hard to see which one has the glare of protective glass right now, but one of these suites will be home to the president a little bit later heren fox. but it looks awesome. we're along the chiefs' sidelines. you'll have shannon bream and "fox news sunday" down along the way, other pregame shows set up to broadcast later, 1:00 on big fox, they'll be broadcasting ear from the sidelines. they've got the cones, they've got the tape. i can't go on to to the field. i'd lo to catch a pass or two ahead of the super bowl, but i imagine that's going to get my credentials revoked, so i'll probably stay right here and be checking in throughout the morning. it's beautiful. i've said this all weekend long, i think -- and, griff, you're a southern guy, a memphis guy, i don't know, i just love the character and culture of new orleans. i think it's a great home for the super bowl. griff: it's fan fantastic. and the closest i got to the super bowl was back in college in the early '90s. we drove down from ole miss,

thought we'd scalp tickets, that that didn't work out. enjoyed the game from the french quarter if a bar. i remember being in katrina, in new orleans as a reporter and going into that superdome where they were trying to move in some of the stranded people, but it was suffering so much destruction. and now to see it -- will: yes. griff: -- it's really quite remarkable, what they've done there. that that's a great point you raise. my question for you, will, as you look at where the president may be sitting and you were at the army-navy game and then before that president trump also a got that warm well -- welcome at the alabama-georgia game. do you suspect that the crowd will be able to see him at least and to be able to sort of interact with him like they have in the past two games he's gone to? will: i would fully expect that, griff. first of all, we have to acknowledge if it's a reality, there's been a vibe shift in america. and this idea that president trump is somehow controversial and divisive, i think, has a never been more min minimized.
