receiving end of that message i will let you characterize what he rang from the present about the capacity appeal being swept up, deported whether or not he's angry, is that accurate? >> i talked to the president often, almost every single day. when he keeps tell me is keep going. doing great. the border is secure or having 90% less encounters at the board just because of the messaging and how aggressively been out on the streets to get these dangerous criminals out of the country. i'm thankful for that 3 times the amount of ice detainees we brought in than the bite of ministration apart with the present is doing is incredible and he wants us to continue to build on that. i think what he is concerned about is yes if had great success getting rapists, murderers, child pornographers and pedophiles out of our country and away from our children and families. but he does not want us to relax pretty does not want us to get comfortable and say we've done a good job. he wants us to put the pedal down and go even harder we will do that. >> are just back from guantanamo

bay which is where some of these are being sent. a lot of people are pushing back on that. several have written to you and a number of other secretaries under the lead of the aclu. they say the government cannot attempt to subvert the statutory and constitutional rights afforded to the non- citizens in the u.s. by transferring them to an offshore prison and holding them incommunicado without access to counsel or any means of contact with the outside world. for sake you speak to it that's an accurate characterization? and what you say in response to the claims to legal rights for those folks? >> that is just a bowl i wish they would grow up and recognize we're doing here. of course were given due process to migrants. we can that all the time from the same procedures we've always have been people where the advocating for the children that are missing? that joe biden lost? more than a advocating for families who have lost children, laken riley's family, jaws and the family aren't they fighting for them and saying thank you, mr. president for making sure
11:40 am
our kids are not going to continue to be killed by drugs and trafficking and have dangerous criminals robbing small businesses in her hometown? just get your priorities straight. start focusing on them and not the dangerous people i watch a plane load of people on load at gitmo they were pedophiles child cannot force their drug dealers in our community and literally these cartels are partnering with the chinese to kill her next generation of americans. that is who were putting down there at gitmo i'm so thankful they're not in our country anymore. shannon: also in that letter they point to a report for the international refugee assistance because you were just there when you speak to this. they say their problems like no portable water dilapidated housing, mold, rats, and toilet totesspewing sewage break and as to healthcare but you were just there 1 of the conditions? what does not like that at all but i don't know what they were talking about maybe that was under the biden administration of previously but it is not like
11:41 am
that at all put our armies there working hard to stand at the facilities meet our standards to make sure that we can use it in a way that it has always been used but use it properly with had migrants there before. we are doing it again. going his or her assets we have to make america safe again. and those claims are not happening today but i do not know what date they are referring to. >> it got to leave their madam secretary we noted north can't yesterday it meant a great deal the folks. you been on the other side of fema as a governor we know you take that to this as wellin your new role thank you for making the time i was good to see you. >> thank you, you too. shannon: kick off just hours away at the superdome my interview with legendary coach jimmy johnson but his thoughts on the big game and the big easy are next. struggling with the highs and lows of bipolar 1? ask about vraylar. because you are greater than your bipolar 1 and you can help take control of your symptoms,

shannon: tonight the kansas city chiefs and the philadelphia eagles go head-to-head in a second super bowl matchup in just 3 years. i s said a former nfl head coach jimmy johnson to talk keys to the game and what he could be up for an oscar. we are so excited to have it back the star of the show. coach, how are you question are good to see you again. >> i'm doing great can you believe not too long ago we had snow here in the french quarter? and now it's about 80 degrees. shannon: it is i'll take this of the snow how about you? >> it's going to be a great football game super bowl lix. shannon: it is you been in as a winning player, winning coach when you make of the excitement were feelings of our we have a rematch with the difference? >> they played 2 years ago.
11:46 am
it was such a close game and i think about because both groups of fans both of them feel like they're going to win. and we love to have a close exciting game. quick to talk to a lot of fans today i asked on the scale of 1 -- 10 how good you feel about your team? i've got to tie the chiefs of fans were a little more cau cautious. >> they were 8 or 9? shannon: they were like a 7. you know as a winning super bowl coach, there's a lot of pressure going for a 3 peat is not a pro or con for the chiefs of players and coaches? >> i don't know it's a pressure on the kansas city chiefs with the simple reason they have so many veterans. they know how to prepare plus they got 1 of the greatest and co- shoot in the nfl with andy reid. patrick mahomes, when we had up in the super bowl i said you are the greatest quarterback i have ever seen and i love terry brad
11:47 am
shaw. shannon: even said it because terry's not here. [laughter] yes i can say it. but patrick mahomes is just unbelievable. heat makes up the difference because i think philadelphia may be a more talented team. shannon: let's talk about that. something different from the game 2 years ago were talking arizona is a barkley this time around but what kind of difference maker is he for the eagles? >> you need to ask michael strahan. he is a giant man. and barkley, with all the long runs he hasn' has made us unbelievable. he's got a great offensive line is got an outstanding offense of line. i think with all of the pieces of the puzzle together he is having a great, great year. shannon: what you think of the celebrity factor without bubbling up at the nfl quest would you have tailors of supporting travis kelce a lot of
11:48 am
females in different bands, younger fans who might not it has been into the nfl? now they are tuning into this games they are learning to love again to? >> i don't know i'm going to say i'm a swift d.a. i don't have a bracelet. it's brought a lot more attention to the super bowl. shannon: it certainly has. how do you tackle this? they've been here before some of the same players. the eagles want to change the outcome this time around. how do you get your players ready for this? >> everybody it says the old-time coaches says it's just another game. don't try to do something you would not normally do, prepare the same way. philadelphia is a 1 to 15 straight for they know how to win but kansas city are going for 3 peat they won the last couple of super bowls. i think the main thing and something many, many years ago it's not the team that makes the most a great place it is a team
11:49 am
that makes the fewest mistakes. you do not want to force a football and tried to make a great play want to make sure you don't turn over if you don't make a lot of mistakes you're going to score points. you're not going to get the opponent great field position and keep the mistakes to a minimum don't try to be the hero. >> wasn't like on game day? these guys have played and coached really high intensity pressure off the charts. but this is the game it. you're here in the party atmosphere the entire world is watching. >> the excitement and anticipation is going to be over the top. but once the ball is kicked off and the game starts the muscle memory starts. this is what you've got to do. this is a decision is got to be doing the same. i don't know the super bowl overcomes the muscle memory of
11:50 am
just another game. both of these teams are outstanding. they have great football teams that's why i anticipate a great game. shannon: you have any predictions or things you think are key keys to making it work? >> you know better than that you've got to what fox and nfl said if you want the prediction to pay. >> fair enough the lesson we are altogether learned a lot about you guys. howie likes to eat catch up on mistakes. and terry these are his words, run around naked. we have evidence of that. >> do not give me that visual. i've got a few more questions and they are here to defend themselves. i know you love to fish very competitive. i have seen shots of you and terry all over social media out fishing who is the bigger fishermen and who's a better it's on the fish stories? >> since i've been fishing a little bit longer, i tell the best fish stories.
11:51 am
terry is a better fisherman on fresh water. i'm the better fishermen on saltwater. i took him out many years ago we started going out further and further and further. we going to go so far i can't see land? >> that's where his advantage is. he fishes and farm ponds i fish and oceans. >> he is not here to defend that. we'll take your word for because i've seen the photos. also terry and howie both of them outside of football do some acting. they have been into movies. which 1 do you think is closer to winning an oscar and who is the bigger ham? >> you know you shortchange me there. i was in a water boy with adam sandler. >> okay will throw you in the next. he was in firestorm and came out of the water with the fire going and did a great job.
11:52 am
terry wasn't failure to launch and he was naked. that's why you like it. [laughter] i don't that's why they take away or give officers i don't know. but what i do know is you've given us a good look inside the game. coach would appreciate your t time. have a great game, have a great show for. >> think is going to be a great 1. shannon: it is always good to see the coach but they get him. catch all fox's coverage of the super bowl beginning at 1:00 p.m. eastern on your local fox channel. up next new orleans is picking up the pieces in the wake of that deadly terror attack in january, louisiana first lady sharon landry is working to help the families of the 14 people who were lost along with survivors who are just beginning their road to recovery. many of you at home are part of these efforts too. that is next. okay everyone, our mission is to provide complete, balanced nutrition for strength and energy. yay - woo hoo! ensure, with 27 vitamins and minerals,
