>> kayleigh: in just one hour, president trump will sign more executive orders from the oval office, we will bring that to you live when it happens. hello, everyone, this is "outnumbered." i'm kayleigh mcenany, cheryl casone, fox business anger, and host of american dream home on fox business, lisa boothe, tomi lahren, fox news contributor and host of "tomi lahren is fearless" on outtake also streaming on foxnews.com. and ian pryor, author of "appearance of the world" at america first legal, former doj deputy director of the foreign affairs. and we begin here. it is officially time to make america healthy again. robert f. kennedy june or as you see there was sworn in as our new health and human services secretary and president trump followed his confirmation wasting no time with an executive order establishing the
9:02 am
commission. >> this groundbreaking commission will be charged with investigating what is causing the decades long increase and chronic illness reporting its findings and delivering an action plan to the american people and it is going to be a plan that people are really waiting to hear after years in which our public health system is squandered the trust of our citizens and they really have. they don't trust us, they don't trust anybody frankly. they have gone hell through. there is no better person to restore faith in american health care then bobby is going to do it. the united states spends more money and health than any other country and earth, but growing sicker every year. not as healthy as countries that spend just a fraction of what we spend. so there is something wrong. he is going to figure it out. >> kayleigh: and kennedy joined the ingram angle and vowed to tackle more than just physical health problems that americans face.
9:03 am
>> we are not just in a health crisis, but in a spiritual crisis, and those things are connected. there is a purpose in our lives, and no sense of usefulness or effectiveness our connectedness to their communities. and that drives also about chronic disease epidemic in the epidemic for depression and suicide, alcoholism, drug addiction. i think that we have to address all of those things at the same time. we can't just say we are going to make you physically healthy. we have to -- >> that's a tall order. >> kayleigh: i think this is fantastic, especially when i hear the purposelessness, we hear about the acts of violence we see with the young people, there is the perp listlessness, specifically looking at stimulants in the long-term effects on children we know a lot of children on adhd
9:04 am
medication and this is a holistic look at their country and the items we are consuming. >> cheryl: and i think the fact that they had the oversee of it is brilliant, because they talked about the obesity rates, not just make america healthy again which was what he was saying in the sound bite being played, but the fact they want to tackle what is really the root cause of why we have some of the most expensive health care and worst outcomes in the world. in this nation which is so sad. we have a wonderful health care system and amazing doctors, but because the obesity rates which he wants to address by this commission, that's why you see a lot of these chronic diseases that become not just expensive, but also deadly for americans. and also he was hit so much for this confirmation hearing about the vaccines and was very clear and talked about it last night with laura if you want to get a vaccine or your measles and mumps, go right ahead, but why not have more data and science
9:05 am
and research done as to what is in the vaccines and also the outcomes for those that are taking them. and he is not saying, again, don't take vaccines. so i think that it is a new era of the health care system and our nation. >> kayleigh: and speaking of the new era, it was five days before donald trump was inaugurated and this was a headline, fda bans red food died due to potential cancer risk, and listen to this, i cannot believe it, the synthetic dye which is made from petroleum, wow, that sounds yummy is used as a color additive in food and adjusted drugs to give them a bright cherry color, the die was removed from cosmetics nearly 35 years ago due to potential cancer risk. you know, lisa, as a mom, rfk has made me start to think about these things. i looked at valentine's day candy, looking at the back and i see red dye, red dye, putting it back. we are becoming more cognizant of this.

this was banned 35 years for cosmetics, why are we eating it? >> lisa: i just want to say that i ran into en and tommy at the gym, so we are taking steps, but we allow 10,000 and looking at a little over 300, so that gives you a point of comparison to other countries, but i think that it is fair to question vaccines, we were lied to you during covid, we were told that the vaccine would stop the transmission despite the fact that if you looked at the beginning, heads of madrona and fisa said that they were not even testing for transmission. the whole point was to keep people out of hospital. so we were blatantly lied to you. and you can look at that point, the public health system does not address health. that's what we are up against. even here in new york city, you look at the former mayor bill de blasio who was handing out hamburgers and french fries to get people to go get vaccinated. there is a cdc study that shows that 70% of the people who are showing up in hospitals and our
9:07 am
own ventilators or dying were obese or overweight, so think about the craziness of that and how we handle public health, so what i love about the donald trump administration is doing is that they will be focused on the root causes as opposed to just handing out to medication and i think that americans will be healthier. which is a beautiful thing. >> kayleigh: politically speaking, did a lot for the trump ticket, and interviewed voters about the importance of rfk. samantha said she was excited about kennedy's campaign it felt cool to see someone in politics talking about something so important to me. grew up in a liberal household and voted for joe biden in 2020, then cast a ballot for donald trump that year. and the other factors played a role in her decision. i think there was a coalition of mom's. i don't know how big it was that said i am on board with the ticket. >> tomi: moms, and as someone who exists on social media, there are a lot of social media

influencers that have dedicated their entire careers to talk about some of the things that rfk jr. has talked about, the seed oils, the dies, having better products, sourcing broader products, knowing what is in your food. being more physically active. so when you see donald trump and his entire administration doing so well with young people, it's also because donald trump and his entire cabinet now are talking about things that people care about. not just republicans, things that americans care about. and the fact that he has brought in these diverse people with diverse voices that care about things that your typical government employee or your bureaucrat may not have cared about for the last 20 years, that is powerful. i will also say this, as someone who comes from a state that is full of ranchers and farmers, south dakota is not only talking about the dies and the additives, it's also about where your food is coming from. i have asked and played with rfk jr. and anybody involved in this, please bring back country of origin labeling on the beef products so the american consumer can know what they are

buying and empower american ranchers and farmers especially small families of ranchers and farmers to be able to provide food to the american people, no farms, no food. i hope rfk takes that an initiative as well. >> kayleigh: that's a fantastic idea. i love that, there is a question about democrats, tim ryan who is a democrat wrote this. we have a rare chance to fix the system that is literally killing us. we are a sick country and a sick country cannot maintain long-term prosperity, kennedy is passionate about this issue and willing to take on the entrenched interests that have perpetuated this broken system for decades to come, democrats should join him in this fight. will day, en? >> ian: of course not, we see what they are doing now, picking literally every possible fight even if the majority of the country is against it and voted for exactly what we are getting with kennedy, president trump, i think that for years the conversation has always been insurance, can you get insurance?
9:10 am
how affordable is insurance? that is reactive. that's reactive to the problem. what we are seeing now is what is the problem? and the problem is simple. we live lives where we are sitting in front of a computer or a device, we are watching tv and learning about all of these drugs. we can ask her doctor about and then here are all of the side effects. we are eating these very easy foods to make that aren't healthy for us and then people aren't focusing on their health. and that is not just lead to physical health problems, but that is connected to mental health problems, because when you are physically in shape and you put an effort to do that, and naturally increases your mental health. we have not prioritized that as a nation. and to see someone like secretary kennedy putting this up front and making this a priority i think it's going to be beneficial not just all of us, but her children. >> lisa: how great do you feel about getting that to work out in? >> cheryl: you know who is most honest, the food industry, gearing up to deal with the new chief in town. >> lisa: that's why he is
