>> welcome to the special edition of "hannity", i'm jason in for sean. and tonight we are at the end of another week of president trump doing exactly what he promised to do. today he signed an executive order blocking federal money for schools and universities with covid vaccine mandates. yes, they are still out there. earlier this week he officially welcomed robert kennedy jr. and tulsi gabbard into his administration. and all week the department of government efficiency or doge, has been tracking down billions in waste, fraud and abuse. and get this. according to reports, doge has now entered the irs. for the very first time, the auditors are going to get an audit. this is welcome news for most americans. in fact during a new focus group, 11 out of 11 swing state voters praised trump and mosque

we have to hit them in the pocketbook, we have to make it clear to the voters in those cities that these mayors are more interested in taking care of criminal illegals and taking care of their own citizens. will not put up with it. the other thing is we have a law we are ready to put forward called the rules act which says if you come into this country illegally, you can ever claim asylum. you have to wait in mexico were your asylum claim is heard and you can only enter through a legal port of entry. we're hoping to get that across the finish line. we have to get legislation through so that this is now embedded in our laws. >> i have my own theories but the number of people coming north across the border and south across the canadian border , those numbers have plummeted. aoc and kamala harris was out there, the vice president at the time was saying it is because of climate change and all of these ridiculous things. the message though to the trump administration is pretty clear. you come across, you're going to get caught and you may not actually go back to her home

getting results under trump. fox news digital now reporting that the number of ice arrests in this country has risen over 130% and just one year. and the number of illegals with criminal histories getting arrested is nearly doubled. here now with more are the former acting dhs secretary chad wolf and a fox news contributor, sarah carter. look, both of you have been intimately involved in this effort and to see a change in difference with donald trump and the like and kamala harris is just unbelievable to me. chad, you saw what is playing out here in new york, just the idea that, hey,, we have to get after the gangs, we have to get under rikers island, we have to get these people. seems to be making some things happen. and mayor adams kind of put on his police at,'s got a police background and seems to be going in the right direction. >> i think you are right.

this sea change is certainly what we see across the country. not only with the numbers, the number of apprehensions along the border or dropping, the number of arrests are going up. but also when you have mayor adams letting ice back into rikers island and saying we need to cooperate to get these dangerous criminals off of our streets, that is a change and that is because of presidential leadership and president trump and the results that we are getting and it has only been four weeks into this administration. so i think there is a lot more to come on the immigration front, on the border security front, this is really just the beginning. but the challenge that the team has is to keep the momentum going and to scale it to get those removals that president trump has talked a lot about. >> the scaling is correct. but jump in here a moment about specifically new york. because you've got a governor who is not necessarily cooperating, you have an attorney general who doesn't seem fit to do much of anything, let alone be supportive of

actually apprehending and deporting and incarcerating people and the criminal element for goodness sake. >> yes, you have a governor who appears to be aiding and abetting the criminal elements, we have seen that a lot in sanctuary cities throughout our nation which is the reason why president trump and tom homan have been very adamant about targeting those century cities which, look, the department of justice has spent over $1.56 billion in sanctuary cities. that is a lot of money. that is money that can be withheld for local law enforcement. and other government entities within those sanctuary cities that are going to need that money. because just like you said, jason, if they are not cooperating, why should the federal government be giving them money? but if you look at new york city and what has happened with mayor eric adams, i was there to see that process happen.

we had illegal migrant mailmen stay in jim's inside the public school systems, that is where they were being housed. parents were outraged, the mayor was outraged, he knew something had to be done. we want to be able to protect our citizens. and by the way, we want to be able to protect immigrants as well. even those people that are being traffic into our nation by these human trafficking organizations that are the worst of the worst, the most nefarious. and this is the reason why the president right now is looking at designating the most ruthless drug cartels and human trafficking organizations as terrorist organizations. it is a way of dealing with them differently than what we have dealt with in the past. and chad is absolutely right. when we talk about our government and moving forward, we have no other way to stop this but to say this has to be implemented permanently in the united states so that no other president can change this. we need to protect the american people.

speech criticizing censorship was unacceptable. here's reaction, are covert senior davis hanson and former senator and ambassador, scott brown. gentleman, thank you for joining us. victor, the irony of them saying its unacceptable is just too much for me. the vice president grave -- gave a great speech and they didn't like it, did they? >> no, they are the international version of the democrats. they are losing their power in the international stage. vance has been talking to them and trump has been talking to them, they are giving him good advice, open up your societies, entertain free speech, make your nato commitments, rearm, closer borders. deregulate, lower taxes and be europe again. when the formed, they had about the same gdp as we do and now it's only about 60%. they are stagnating and it wasn't a critical speech and it was constructed like the way the

trump spoke to the europeans. he said i love europe. vance was saying this is the same culture, join us, open up. and we have learned our lesson, we went through this dark age with biden, it doesn't work. open borders do not work, illegal immigration does not work, censorship does not work. the industrializing does not work, green power does not work. they don't want to hear that, they would rather be ideologically pure and affluent apostates, it's really sad. they're like democrats in america. >> senator, ambassador, i don't know what to call you these days but you have done at all. what was your take on the vice president's speech? >> we know he is very intelligent as in an excellent speaker and the perfect person for the job to go there in particular and give it dose of reality, a new reality. the ineptness of the biden administration is no longer there. america is back and it is not

going to be following anymore, it will be leading. and listen, we have gone through a lot of what they are going through right now and we saw the problems and obviously made a resounding effort to write it by overwhelmingly electing trump in the house and senate and popular vote and getting all of his cabinet picks through, trying to cut the fraud, waste and abuse respectfully. i tried to do that when i was a senator, i know you had similar efforts across the board and no one supported it. i think it was a very valuable lesson and quite frankly i thought he was the perfect person to deliver it. >> victor, it seems like they get triggered by the word elon musk, it scares them to death. >> i mean they should take a look at elon musk and what he did in the united states. he reinvented the space industry. he reinvented social media. he broke into the big three and reinvented cars and he would not

be able to do that in europe. the result is that they arm sorry and poorer for that because they don't encourage people like elon musk to thrive. we do. they have this culture where they want to pull down people who are renaissance people and we like to encourage them. we think they help everybody. so those dour faces were really something. they were so angry to be told what they know is true. and he wasn't trying to be mean, he was trying to say join us. you are europe, you could be great. all you have to do is just follow your former traditions and look what we did. we came out of the darkness, you can do it. and get they didn't want to hear it. they better be careful because they don't have much power and they are dependent on nato and they don't have any energy r they need our gas and our defense. i wouldn't be too cocky and cynical a fire them. >> senator, elon musk can parallel park a rocket and he

built the most viable electric vehicle on the face of the planet. something i thought they wanted. but now he seems to trigger them because he is associated with donald trump. >> you nailed it, jason. obama, clinton, they'll talk about cutting waste and abuse. this president is doing it and it needs to be done. 36, $37 trillion when i was there. it was $9 trillion when you were there, probably 14 trillion. we have to stop it. it is just common sense. and i can't believe especially in the new hampshire delegation, it's like no, let support the crazy things that we have all heard about and let's not actually get together and work with the republicans and figure it out and do it together. i mean, come on. it is just completely upside down. but keep it up because they're going to get a real awakening in the midterms again. >> that is what is so amazing to me. the idea that they are to
