right off the bat the judge in the case judge reyez revealed other bias, taking extreme umbrage at the use of the words gender ideology in the trump eu and argued that the entire order is attack on this is a policy of the president of the united states afcing thousands of people to call an entire group of people liars who have no integrity how is that other than showing animus. throughout the hearing she sounded more like a lawyer for the plaintiffs than an impartial jurist. saying if you were in a fox hole, you wouldn't care about their gender ideology, right? she went on to suggest that the doj lawyer would be happy with somebody of the plaintiff's commendation, fighting right alongside them. now at one point she literally made the doj lawyer sit down in an attempt to prove her point. equating someone's alma mater with gender dysphoria.

antidepressant, stimulants and other comic -- common psychiatric drugs. joining me now is a health and science journalist. i was a teenager in the 70s and 80s. i don't remember a single kid on any medication. like regular medication, other than maybe for epilepsy, in my school. what the heck happened? >> we have a gross over prescription problem in this country. we see at an upper age brackets. there's the concept of polypharmacy and hyper pilot -- polypharmacy and we are seeing that extend to children. prescriptions for these drugs has exploded, increased by 600% since 2020. our children are not suffering from a deficit of stimulants, of ssris, of weight-loss drugs. this is a massive problem. laura, if you have a sick fish swimming in a dirty bowl, what do you do first? medicate the fish or clean the bowl? right now we are medicating the fish, focusing on the wrong things. 70% of our children's diets are

comprised of ultra processed foods, vending machines boost -- foods. they are nutrient impoverished and hyper calorie dense and it's 1 of the reasons i think wide 20% of children today are obese, 30% are either overweight or obese. it's a big issue. >> laura: i'm horrified to report this but i have to tell my viewers, i think it was -- it was last night i was checking on my kids, you know, saying good night and i find 1 of those big energy drinks on my son's nightstand. you know, the one that's really popular. these are horrible for kids. i guess he had some money and got it at the cbs or whatever. but this stuff is marketed with a cool name and a cool logo and like what's the harm, mom? i'm always the mom who says no, you can't do it. he's really skinny, he's not a
