cartels coming over. so donald trump is taking their money. so i think it's you know, the mexican government is in a tough situation, but i think they better come out on donald trump's side because he's not yielding on this issue. he's going to fight for the american people, fight for the safety, fight for public health. and i don't think this is going to end well for them if they don't want to cooperate. >> well, those fentanyl, those fentanyl cookers better look up because they, they they might be met with something very unpleasant. jonathan, as always, thank you so much for joining us. what a week. another week, another flurry of events in washington and beyond. and we were there to cover all of it for you. that's it for us tonight. make sure to follow me on social media all weekend long. there will be a lot posted tonight and tomorrow night. thank you for watching. remember, it is america now and forever and jesse watters takes it all from here. >> hello everyone. i'm judge jeanine pirro, along.
2:01 am
>> with jessica. >> tarlov, jesse watters. >> kayleigh mcenany, and greg gutfeld. >> it's 5:00 in new york city, and this is the five. it's the doj's chainsaw massacre. elon musk crashing cpac while literally wielding. >> a. golden chainsaw. >> given to him by argentina's president, a symbolic gesture for the cost cutting crew that has already saved taxpayers billions. the world's richest man, acting cool and casual as he dismantled his democrat critics who have been protesting his every move. >> this is. >> the chainsaw. >> for bureaucracy. >> chainsaw. >> obviously it's. >> it's it just shows that. >> they really. >> lack. >> empathy for. the average taxpayer who's working hard, paying, paying taxes. and then and then they say, oh, $1. >> million doesn't matter. >> and i'm like.
2:02 am
>> i think it matters a. >> lot to people, you know? i mean. >> so what are you talking about? >> people ask, how can you find. >> ways to in. >> like in dc? >> i'm like. >> look, it's. >> like being in a room. >> you know, and. >> there's the wall. >> the roofs and the floor are all targets. so it's like you can close your eyes and go shoot in any direction so you can't miss. >> but the liberal media is so easily triggered by the sight of chainsaw musk. >> you unleash somebody who's doing theatrics and abandoning his own children and having some weird fantasy in front of everybody. to be popular, just do whatever he wants to do with no oversight. that is anti-american, and it's reckless and it's wrong. >> james musk. >> yeah. >> it was. >> absurd, but it was also. >> a flex of. >> a man who has. >> absolutely no idea what he's doing. >> you know, you live by the chainsaw, die by the chainsaw. >> trump and his allies are treating their firings inside
2:03 am
the government like a game, a show even. they are creating memes, throwing celebrations. and the man in charge is using props to dance on professional graves. >> they can whine all they want, but president trump is sticking with his extremely high iq dodge team. >> elon is doing a really good job and i said, who are these people that travel you? we call them the dodgers. and i said, what are they? he said they generally young people with extremely high iqs who who are very good with computers because you have to be good with computers. we're actually going to fort knox because i want to see do we have the gold? do we still have whatever it is, tons of gold? i hope we do. wouldn't that be disappointing? fort knox, you grew up here in about fort knox. you can't get in. you can't even see it. nobody sees it. you go there and the place is dry. would that be terrible? >> all right, jesse, you know the democrat malcontents are out there saying, you know,
2:04 am
that elon musk has no oversight. it's anti-american. it's wrong. he has no idea what he's doing. i mean, the guy who bought twitter took it down, like, by 70% and is still doing well with it. and he's like the probably the most successful businessman in the year. and congress hasn't done any oversight that can show $55 billion in two weeks. >> no, he's done more with a chainsaw than congress has done with their own powers in decades. the chainsaw was a gift. it would be rude not to brandish it. and who gave it to him? the guy from argentina who's used it very well. he saved his own country from bankruptcy. argentina should make the chainsaw the national bird. i don't even care if the thing doesn't fly. we are $36 trillion in the hole. and you keep hearing democrats talk about, oh, we need a scalpel. it's like they think that's some clever analogy. when's the last time you heard a democrat use a scalpel on anything besides their own face? this is a serious debt crisis. we're
2:05 am
in. you definitely need a chainsaw. democrats haven't balanced the budget in 25 years, and that was only because newt helped them out. but i do worry about elon. judge. you know how these nba stars or nfl stars have clauses in their contract and they're off season. they're not allowed to go skiing or ride a motorcycle or even play pickup basketball. it's because it's too risky. they could get hurt and lose everything. elon's board of directors should not allow him to be juggling a chainsaw. he slips and falls, cuts his head off. we're in a recession. or if he castrates himself, the world population plummets. these are memes and he's serious about that. he's got the shades, he's got the chain, he's got the chainsaw. we saw how effective this was with the mug shot, with the mcdonald's, with the trash truck. these things are powerful. chuck schumer. what is he holding an avocado. it's just not the same thing.
2:06 am
>> you know, jessica, both james carville and i think van jones, you know, they're very critical of this. and carville says, oh, democrats just, you know, sit back. the republican collapse is on the way. meanwhile, trump and elon are happy. they're smiling. the democrats are just miserable. >> i don't feel. >> miserable. >> i feel challenged. this is. >> a tough moment. >> figuring out how to navigate what trump 2.0 looks like. but what james carville is. referring to. is this huge drop in support for president trump and for elon musk and what he's doing at doge. so there were a bunch of polls that came out. cnn has 2 to 1 people are upset about musk having such a prominent role in the government. trump's approval rating is down 5 to 7 points across four of these big polls. he's underwater on managing the economy, which is obviously what handed him the presidency eight points underwater. and then in terms of how the public is feeling, not only reflected in those numbers, did you see those town halls that were going on last night? so rich
2:07 am
mccormick in georgia, safe seat people booing him, calling. they're concerned with everything from spending cuts to what's going on with doge, to that donald trump is becoming a tyrant. cliff bentz in oregon, similar reaction. this guy, tony balderson, he's a trump plus 18 district in ohio saying trump's executive orders are getting out of control. they are hearing from the american public that what is going on from the oval office to cpac, which is, you know, pam bondi being at cpac, seems like a politicization of the office, to say the least, is not what the american public wanted. they wanted someone to come in to get the economy back on track. that hasn't been happening. they wanted a different vision of getting rid of illegal immigrants. they want people who are actually convicted of crimes to be the ones getting kicked out, not just picking up anyone who speaks spanish. so that's what carville is saying. and i think it's good strategy. let it happen. >> you know, greg, i noticed that your eyebrows furrowed when jessica says, just not throwing out everyone who
2:08 am
speaks spanish. >> now, the whole point of this administration is that we agree that this, that america needed change and they needed it. now we're willing to accept some hiccups, and our hiccups don't cost lives, right? it's not like bail reform where, hey, we're going to do this and, you know, we break a few eggs. when you guys break eggs, people die. in this case, you know, you make a mistake, you rehire somebody. the thing about the chainsaw, it's fun, it's silly. it's another light and ridiculous moment in this action movie that we're living in. and if you find that chainsaw toxic or hyper masculine or insensitive or heartless, you have wandered into the wrong movie. you know, you were probably you probably wanted to see the notebook for. but this is part of the flip. 40 years ago, it used to be, you know, the right was stiff and easily offended, and the left was hip and edgy. it's completely shifted. and the writer writes, having fun.
2:09 am
meanwhile, the dems, you know, they're the democratic party, is like a giant sized version of the view, if that's possible. i mean, do you see any optimism? do you see any hope? do you see any action? do you see any solutions, at least on the view? there's joy and what a joy it is. but with the democratic party, it's all just misery and a hope for more misery, because then that will bring down trump. i was just watching watch that clip. i just realized brianna keilar has cnn resting face. so in the issue, you know, jessica brings up these these criticisms and you got to understand that stuff doesn't work anymore. a lot of the load bearing phrases that we know he's racist, he's a fascist, he's acting like a king, he's transphobic, he's hitler. they don't resonate to the public anymore because they got burned by all that. and the arguments that depended on those words have all atrophied. and worse, the media vessels have been cauterized. it used to be you'd get this little outrage, and it would show up
2:10 am
on twitter that it would go to a blog, and then it would shoot its way up to the new york times or the washington post, which is what happened with something like the covington kids, that that vessel has been cauterized. nobody cares what's on the daily beast or mediaite. they don't read that and nobody actually trusts it. so the big challenge for the dems, the trump movie is fun, it's funny and it's fast and it's optimistic. if the dems were a movie, it would be morose, depressing, and hopeless. you would call it the jim acosta story. >> why are you so. >> pale like this then? if everyone is. >> happy, nobody's hearing about these town halls. it's all. over the what? >> it's all. >> over elon. musk's hellsite. >> okay. >> kayleigh, let me go to you on this. you know, don't you think it's rather ridiculous for the democrats to be complaining? it's just four weeks and the economy isn't better. it's just four weeks and eggs haven't come down. how
2:11 am
ridiculous is that? >> totally ridiculous. and you know, jessica, you point to an anecdotal town hall. well, let's get into some polling. cbs, trafalgar, rasmussen have him over 50%. yeah. recent cnn poll. the most popular. trump agenda item that has been accomplished is immigration. in fact, 55% said he has gone either just the right amount or not far enough. not only that, i'm a nerd. i spend my fridays reading cnn cross tabs. when you go to the cross tabs, people who feel there's an attack on democracy, that number was 56%. in 21. that number was 54% in 2023. you know what it's at now? 45%. so this threat to democracy language that the left is still using, biden was a bigger threat to democracy, a majority threat, according to a cnn poll. and while on the note of cnn, just one more note. karen finney, the person who said biden or elon musk, what experience do you have? karen finney, you worked for the john edwards campaign. we never had a president. edwards, you worked for the hillary clinton
2:12 am
campaign. we never had a president hillary clinton. don't give me what experience does elon musk have? i'll say this spacex first private sector company to get a man in space, neuralink helping quadriplegic people to walk. i'll take elon musk over karen finney in the cnn resting place crowd any day. >> get in the cross tab. >> yeah, yeah. >> i don't even know what a cross tab is. >> i'll show you in your office. >> very angry soda. >> yes. up next, canada. better watch out. president trump is responding to justin trudeau squealing like a schoolgirl after winning the big hockey game. >> in rome. it's where i drank my first beer. it's where i found you. jesus. where i wrecked. my first car. i tore it all. >> to pieces. >> at ameriprise financial. >> we know. >> our clients are so. much more than clients. >> they're conquerors and champions. >> and what matters most to them matters most to us. it's

2:18 am
ever the counterpuncher, fired right back. >> well, we won the first game and the second game was a great game. it could have gone either way. justin's a loser, always has been. and you know, he's he's a he's just a guy that really doesn't i think he's done a very bad job for canada. he's taken it radical left and he's going to lose the election. it looks like a pretty big. >> dose of candor. and surprisingly, some americans are cheering for the other side. check out what democrat jasmine crockett just said. >> canada has really been the one to call it out. the fact that i'm rooting for canada and i'm rooting for mexico a lot is really wild, but they are really the ones that are speaking truth to power right now. they can see what it is and they were like, we are not messing with this crazy regime from mar a lago and basically calling them thugs. that's what it is. >> greg. she's rooting for canada. >> that's she's a politician. she's a congresswoman. yes. isn't that incredible? i do
2:19 am
wish she was a little more clever or surprising. i feel like she's like a retread of previous lefty tantrum throwers. when i hear her, i think, you know what? i'll just hang up and i'll call back and maybe i'll get a person, a better person at the call center. you know what i mean? you've been there. it's like, ooh, this is bad, this is bad. it's funny to see trudeau dunk on america. and i get it. you know he you know we've been dunking on him. so give him a little bit of pleasure. but he is unemployed i mean his team doesn't want him anymore. he's like a guy who was cut from the squad, but he still walks around campus in his letterman jacket, hoping people still think he's on the team. and then he goes home. he's going to have to go home. and, you know, basically surf linkedin for hosting gigs at the canadian version of applebee's, if there is one, i don't know. and also, america really doesn't care. hockey's great. we love hockey. but hockey is
2:20 am
canada's life's blood for us. it's kind of what we watch. if we're stuck at an airport in buffalo, you know, it's popular, but so is woodworking and pickleball. it's kind of in there. we have too many things going on in canada. they got nothing going on. all they have is hockey and wondering, i don't know what justin bieber is doing. >> yeah. unless you get the stanley cup like we do down with the tampa bay lightning, then you're paying attention. they also have good food. jesse justin trudeau i just want to play one of his saddest moments. and it wasn't the moment he said he had to step aside. >> just a few weeks ago, the united states. >> voted for. >> a. >> second time to. not elect. >> its first. >> woman president. i want you to know. >> that i am. >> and always will be. >> a proud feminist. >> he's the. >> best, proud feminist. >> i mean, what the pup trudeau? >> what the. >> pup. trump has done the impossible. he's made us care about hockey. yeah. no one
2:21 am
cares about hockey. okay, i could have played. it would have been great. i decided to play basketball instead. >> where you. >> were great, i forgot i was white. it was a bad decision. but when it's down to statehood, i'm into it. i mean, i only watch playoff hockey or baseball in the postseason. you don't even have to watch the whole season. it's really that boring. but playoff hockey is good. or when this is this competitive, think about what trump has done. everything is so competitive now. i mean, could you imagine mexico versus the united states in the world cup, which were hosting? the cartels are going to shoot the mexican captain if they lose, or ukraine versus the united states at the winter olympics in curling, it's going to be sick. are we going to invite russia back into the olympic fold? who knows? but if we do, it's going to be insane. i am all in. kind of. >> yeah. >> kind of. you know, jessica, i feel like, yeah, you won the
2:22 am
battle. you won a hockey game, but you lost the war. i mean, sky news called him the golden boy who now has 22% approval ratings. >> obviously, justin trudeau has not had a great few professional months, but i feel like this is the energy that trump likes. i mean, this is fun for him. he respects it more than just standing up there and making speeches that just play to your base. he's like, all right, let's go. let's counterpunch. and i feel like i'm the 51st state thing is obviously ridiculous. no offense to kevin o'leary and co, but i think this is the vibe that he prefers. and if he could go around the world dealing with world leaders in this way that that would be better than the traditional kind of diplomacy that doesn't really fit his personality. that's what i perceive of it. but to jasmine crockett's point, i think what she was talking about is being on the side of people who don't want these tariffs. i mean, the tariffs are wildly unpopular, almost as unpopular as pardoning january 6th ers, which is the number one most unpopular thing that donald
2:23 am
trump did. and that's really what's at play here with canada and mexico. and they need to be careful. it's going to really hurt the american consumer. >> you know judge without question president trump has kind of the magic touch. i mean, my mom, who yes, she watches the stanley cup. she goes for the great food at the hockey games. but she tuned in to a hockey match for the first time last night because. >> trump did. president trump has this ability to get us fired up about just about everything. and then he makes us feel like this is the greatest thing america has ever done, and we should all be behind it. but let me just comment about this. congresswoman jasmine crockett, who i think i said a couple days ago, we're going to be watching her very carefully this year. i mean, you know, you have a woman who is openly supporting other countries against the united states. and, you know, to me, that doesn't align with her obligations and her interests as being a representative of congress. and to me, tariffs, as long as they're reciprocal, are fair tariffs. i mean, you've got an argument, but this woman is beyond the pale. but i just
2:24 am
thought about what it was like to receive the call from donald trump, from president trump before the hockey game. and i said, you know, joe biden and kamala harris would never have done that. so i tried to put together what kamala harris would have said to that hockey team had she won and not donald trump. this is kamala harris. let's talk about the significance of the passing of the puck. in hockey, as in life, it's important that we pass the puck. and just as time passes, so does the puck. without the passing of the puck, we'd all be alone with a stick on the ice. hockey is not just about the time that's passed, but what you do with the puck while the time is passing. >> wait, was that chatgpt or you came up. >> with that? >> i did. >> that, that is impressive. she props. >> hard for this show. >> i did friday. >> it's an easy show. >> spot on with judge jeanine. all right, up next, president trump just demolished a liberal governor right to her face for defying his new transgender sports law.

2:30 am
somewhat liberal, although i did very well there, your population doesn't want men playing in women's sports. so you better come. you better comply because otherwise you're not getting any any federal funding. every state. good. i'll see you in court. i look forward to that. that should be a real easy one for me. and enjoy your life after governor. because i don't think you'll be in elected politics. >> just hours after that dustup at the governor's meeting, the department of education announcing a new title nine investigation into maine over the boys and girls in sports issue. it could result in maine losing $250 million in annual federal funding. judge. it's funny. you know, you go to a nice luncheon with a bunch of other governors and then bam right in the face. >> well, you know, it shouldn't have been a surprise, because when joe biden left office, he tried to change title nine and he tried to add the transgender identity as being a basis for discrimination. and so a federal judge has since vacated that, and the president has
2:31 am
issued an executive order. and this should not be a surprise to any democrat, because the country in incredible numbers. i don't know what the stats are, but the country is against men in women's sports. everybody knows that a transgender is a physical advantage over girls. okay. if you're if you're playing in a girls sport sports. so president's saying you're going to jeopardize $250 million in federal funding. and she's going to say, well i'm following federal law and state law. who cares what the state law says? the federal law has supremacy on this issue. it's federal money. okay. and she's going to lose. and it's stupid of her as far as i'm concerned to say. well, you know, with the federal law supports us. no. you're stupid. it doesn't. >> jessica, maine's a poor state losing $250 million over something like this just seems dumb. >> yeah we'll see how it plays out. i took it that governor mills was also talking about the anti-discrimination laws that exist, and that she'll have to abide by them, and
2:32 am
we'll see. i that was my expectation that then this would happen immediately, and there would be funding on the table and it will play out. but the problem with some of these executive orders as it pertains to gender, is that gender is a lot more complicated than they would have you believe. like one of trump's lawyers was in court with this federal judge, judge reyes, and said, you know, there's men and there's women. it's just about male and female. and the judge said that's actually biologically incorrect, that there are 30 examples of people, types of intersex people. so not everyone has. what is it not sex. intersex. well, you. >> say you have both. >> you have both. >> it's such a rare exception. it doesn't even. >> it's exactly a point. it's just like the transgenders trying to compete. there's like 1%. >> i'm not denying that. >> i deny. why force girls across this country to have to be in a bathroom? so just admit it's illegal. it's wrong, and the public doesn't want.

>> that's not what you would be admitting by saying like illegal doesn't mean. >> 2000 years have been men and women. now we got three. >> four saying no, 30 to consider 30 types. the point is, is that you can't just make a generalized sweeping law that would exclude people who do exist. you have to make sure that there's some place for them in this conversation. >> i'm not asking of women. >> i have never said that i thought that transgender women should play in women's sports. i'm saying that some of these executive orders on gender are more complicated than the administration thinks, and then they show up in court and they don't even know about intersex. >> people of the other genders in here, greg. >> well, first of all, the idea of gender being fluid and not and not male female was a sweeping decision made by many politicians without any science. but i first, i want to talk about that amazing moment with the governors, with the trump presidency. every morning is like the day after halloween. i wake up and i have a big bag of candy waiting for
2:34 am
me, and i have to slow down because i'm going to throw up before breakfast. i can't stop. i mean, i love this, and also what that does is it forces the discussion beyond the i hate to use the phrase again, load bearing phrase transphobic. so generally what would happen is you would go like, i don't i don't like to have i don't men saying that their women should not be in women's sports. well that's transphobic. and then everybody go ooh better shut, shut down. now you go no no no no no no no. you have to explain to me why. you have to tell me why that that should be allowed. then you can get into the argument. well, there's this 0.000000000% who are intersectional. and he goes, well, that's great. i would call that the tyranny of the minority, that you would change all these rules for 0.0000000 of the population. this is something that the left does all the time. what about this exception? what about that? the maine governor is a typical example of this old female
