>> brian: start your engines. indycar racing is coming to fox. it kicks off this weekend with the grand prix of st. petersburg on sunday. >> ainsley: it's making a pit stop on fox square. >> lawrence: here is indycar drivers to tell us more. thank you, gentlemen, for joining the program. tell us about this ride. you were explaining the difference of the wheels of our cars versus your cars. >> it's fast and lean. built for speed. that's what we love doing. we love goinging 240 miles-per-hour around the indianapolis motor speedway. that's what we're doing. there are wings all over. you have to look at it as if it's an upside down airplane. if you are doing 140 miles-per-hour it can go straight up and down. the down force is greater than the weight of the car.

it is very intricate and fast. fastest racing on earth and we're proud to say that. >> ainsley: how -- >> 240 miles-per-hour seems absurd. i don't think words can describe it. >> ainsley: how did you get in there? >> unbelievable. >> easier without a jacket. >> such a small vehicle. >> ainsley: does it take a while to get used to that? it looks very claustro phobic. >> you only feel that when you get stop and it gets very hot. >> brian: first time we have the series. race this weekend and 100 days to the indy 500. what do you think fox viewers will be seeing. >> a lot of action. we're so proud to be the drivers

and do what we do and bring it to the people. fox has done that for us. a wonderful partner for us thus far. you've seen it the super bowl. daytona 500 last week. any sporting event on fox you've seen us in one of our commercials. we're excited. a grit new partnership. network on all our races. not only the indy 500 but a lot of other races coming up and we're racing here this weekend. >> ainsley: you are one of the drivers in indy racing and your dad was a racer. you grew up in this family, brian is his name. what was it like growing up under him and training with your dad? >> it made my decision and career path very easy. i wanted to do what my dad did. all through my life i wanted to do this. i tell you what, i'm fortunate and thankful to be able to do what i do and it's a blessing to be able to do this as a job. it doesn't feel like a job. >> lawrence: what's the hardest thing about racing?

>> good question. everything. the focus, the adrenalin. we're racing for an hour and a half and we're probably going to burn about 2,000 calories. and so it's a work-out in that thing, man. >> not just pushing pedals and turning wheels. no power steering and hitting the pedals. >> ainsley: do you have to take a break in bed the next day? >> you're sore and pulling upwards of 5gs on some of the corners. it is a hard car to drive. >> brian: kickoff st. petersburg, this sunday, march 2nd begins at 12:00. 100 days until the indy 500. >> bill: good morning. we're off to have races. jam-packed week at the white
