>> it is in direct conflict with decision from judge last week who said doge could access that data. reason that is significant, that conflict could fast-track this issue to supreme court. they tend to take cases up when there is conflict between jurisdictions and it is obvious why, people need to know what to do. this is when supreme court steps in. on this issue of doge accessing student borrower data, what is driving me crazy in this conversation is the fact that career officials working at these departments, they have access to it, what is problem with colleagues and federal employees having access to same information? it is their actual job. think about it, if government was to engage in outside auditing firm, that is what they would be doing.
