pills hundreds of pounds of narcotics. coming up, special dea agent with more on the border. >> first, fox team coverage with our chief correspondent jonathan hunt, more on the anti-ice activists, and brooke taylor starts off in dallas. what do we know about this raid in colony ridge? speak of the person who joined this operation tells me that they arrested about 90 illegal migrants. this makes it the largest operation we have seen under the trump administration. homan says this is part of a larger criminal investigation. he called a phase one and something they have been planning for a while. early monday morning, hsi along with special agents and texas dps made the arrest in end around colony ridge, a largely hispanic of elements outside of houston. we sat down with border czar tom homan right after he joined the

operation. >> warrants on some people. some were traffic stops conducted by texas dps. the last number i saw was like 69 criminals. i know for a fact, there are several sexual predators, child predators arrested for sexual misconduct with a child. there were several of them. i know one was convicted of either homicide or murder. >> among those arrested, a three-time previously deported criminal illegal alien from el salvador. ice tells me he had criminal arrest warrants for alleged repeated sexual abuse of a minor. they say this area has been a problem for a while now. check this out from earlier this month. three illegal migrants arrested near colony ridge after deputies say they found around 350 pounds of. tom homan tells me this was not about targeting a specific community, it was about

targeting illegal criminal migrants. he says it's a priority, but he's made it clear if you are in the country illegally or still on the table -- you are still on the table for possible deportation. >> thank you, brooke. >> immigration activists putting a target on the i.c.e. agent's packs by posting flyers with their personal information, including their names, faces, phone numbers. chief correspondent jonathan hunt has the details from l.a. how are these affecting operations? >> there's been a lot of frustration among immigration agents and officials in seeing their operational plans leaked, first of all, and then the operations themselves disrupted by activists, shouting warnings to potential targets of rates. now, there is outright anger, prompted by the posting of those flyers, which look like this. they reveal the identities of some of the agents involved, and read in part "these armed agents

work in southern california. ice and hsi racially terrorized and criminalize communities with their policies. they kidnap people from their homes and from the streets, separating families and fractured communities. department of homeland security spokesman tells fox "these pathetic activists are putting targets on the backs of our law enforcement, as they shield ms-13, other vicious gangs that traffic women and children, kidnapped for ransom, and poison americans with lethal drugs." protesters in the los angeles area and previously of this leaked and failed ice raid in aurora, colorado, have been showing up during ice operations, shouting warnings, and instructions to anyone who might be targeted. the activists say they do not physically interfere with the agents, and as such, are simply exercising their right to

free speech, doing nothing illegal, but an fbi spokesperson acknowledged the activist's right to assembly and free speech, but told us anyone who impedes law enforcement operations could be subject to potential prosecution. >> thank you, jonathan. just incredible what they are finding, and to have these agents have a target on the back by people leaking their personal information. how terrifying that is for them and their families. >> doxxing these agents is just the height of irresponsible day on the folks doing they're trying to obviously mount some sort of a resistance against what's going on, because it offends their sensibilities, but to put folks in harm's way, people who are law enforcement in harm's way, that is a bridge too far. >> absolutely. >> they trump administration intensifying its fight against the drug cartels. as the indiscretion aims to halt the flow of fentanyl to folks

who -- the flow fentanyl, some folks pushing to boost the number of dea agents at the southern border. let's bring in the acting agent of dutch dea operations. thank you for joining us. first, talk to us about the operation outside of houston, colony ridge. this is a neighborhood that has been the focus of controversy for some time. it's the focus of federal investigation as well as a state investigation. we have seen 90 illegal immigrants caught up in this ice raid. the dea was there. big drug rates. how big was its operation? >> at dea, we are committed to going after the most violent criminal aliens in our country. we are focused on removing fentanyl, this poison that's in our communities. we have to work with our partners. with this renewed effort we have, coupled with these new immigration authorities we now have, we can use those renewed authorities, work with our partners. i can tell you this: these criminals and criminal networks were battling against, they are

worldwide. the cartels in particular. they are in every u.s. state, every mexican state. they are truly global in nature. dozens of countries worldwide. we have, dealing with this huge threat. we need to be working together across the entire u.s. government to include our partners at dhs to target this threat. >> people think the cartels have a major presence in literally every major u.s. city, they are fooling themselves. we were talking with the arizona attorney general, chris mays, yesterday. she made this appeal to the dea. >> one of the things i want the trump administration to do that they have not done yet is to send us more dea agents so that we can really go after and prosecute the mexican drug cartels. states like new york and florida have three times more dea agents than the state of arizona does. that is really insane, when we are the epicenter of the crisis.

>> i told the ag yesterday -- i know this person pass the message along. i did. i don't know if he has passed the message along to you, bobby flay, new york and florida have larger populations they in arizona. but to a large degree, they are the epicenter of -- these drugs like fentanyl. >> they are on the border. at dea in arizona, we have seized over half of the big pills last year out of that area. she is right in that regard, but we dedicate our resources, our agents to the areas we see the greatest threat. we have many agents in the area. we are the experts on the cartels. >> can you mobilize more? >> we can. we are doing that now. we have committed to doing that. we have agents around the world. we have over 330 offices globally. we have agents right now operating in mexico. nearly a dozen offices in mexico. we are truly working this overseas in mexico with our partners to eliminate this threat to our community. >> i'm not asking you to make

policy here on the fox news channel set, but if you could say something to the ag, what would it be? >> that we are committed to putting people there. we are adding more people as we speak. phoenix has always been one of the top dea domestic offices and regions where focused on. we see it in the numbers. we know that we seized close tom mark 50 million fake pills last year that came into the united states were seized predominantly in phoenix. that's just the dea. we know that a lot of the pills and fennel making its way to the united states, it's making its way through that corporate or. >> so they are just going through the process of passing a law that would allow law enforcement to takedown drones that are possibly either surveilling law enforcement in southern arizona or bringing drugs across the border. i wanted to ask you, this designation of the cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

what tools does that give you now in your bag that you didn't have before? >> it gave us more, more measures, more investigative authority. the dea, narco terrorism world for some time. it gives us more tools and authority to do just that. most portly, it gives us an ability to work with our partners to a level that we have never seen before at the dea. with our partners at the department of homeland. the department of defense. we are going against a vast criminal network. these cartels are just involved not just in smuggling drugs in the country. they are involved in bribery, extortion, sex trafficking, human smuggling, all of the above. they are an expensive criminal organization. they work with the chinese criminal networks as well to include the cartels that are leads to violent crime in our inner cities. we have this huge challenge, so we need to be working together, the entire u.s. government, to me that extensive threat. >> they are also well armed and well organized. going to be a tough fight.

and, up it goes. you can see the private, smaller plane below it. southwest said that this close call happened at chicago's midway international airport this morning. the flight crew had to perform a go around to prevent a potential incident. southwest flight 2504 landed safely at chicago airport after avoiding that other aircraft on the runway. according to southwest, they have issued a statement that the crew follow safety procedures and the flight landed without incident safely at chicago's airport. it all happened tuesday morning. nothing more important to southwest "then the safety of our customers, employees." to add to this, the faa has issued a statement now. the crew of southwest airlines flight six initiated a go around when a business jet entered the runway without authorization.

that is an update. at chicago's midway airport. the faa is investigating the incident which occurred around 8:50 a.m. local time tuesday february 25th. you would think the air-traffic controllers had a view of this plaint -- that wasn't supposed to be on the runway. perhaps that's the call they made, and that is why the commercial jet was able to touch and go back up. >> i listens to the air-traffic control recording. there was no indication that there was an incursion across that runway by the small jet. basically all you heard was something quick from the tower, and the pilot saying it's 2504 going around, told them to climb 3,000 feet, initiate a left-hand turn. about a minute later, the pilot comes back on the radio and says "southwest 2504 -- how did that happen?" no response from the tower. i guess letting it slide, but look at that, the plane is a must on the ground before it pulls up and goes around. if it had initiated its thrust

reverses, there is no way to go around. so god bless that pilot for acting so quickly, and getting that aircraft up off the ground. if they had landed and initiated the landing procedure so they couldn't go around, lord knows what would have happened. >> interesting that those are two different vantage points, but only one that we have seen so far. the plan actually getting that close to the private jet. interesting to see other angles to see just how close this was, but i can only imagine what they are thinking, as passengers on board when they thought they were landing, were about to grab their bags, headed back up. >> we have all these cameras at airports across the country that are videotaping every flight that comes in. i guess really just for that reason -- there's a lot of people that watch this online. that's how you get that bird's eye view. it could be -- it looks like a learjet was moving fast and across the runway, that may be

the collision -- would have been avoided but it looks close from that vantage point. >> we will see what details we get from this. that was news in the faa statement, that small jet ends of the runway without authorization. we will see what comes this and will update you, or viewers, when we get it. >> elon has implemented this at his private companies. it's proven successful. it's a simple idea when you think about it. all the office and purpose in all management -- all they are asking is for federal workers who live off of the american taxpayers' dime to send five bullet points of what they have done in the previous week. that's all we are asking for. >> the white house clarifying the purpose of the email sent to federal workers asking them to list five things that accomplished last week, as critics continue to push back on doge and elon musk's efforts throughout washington, d.c. steve more and robert wolf -- first, we go to white house correspondent peter doocy. it's been quite a day.

>> now, white house officials are telling us that about one-third of the entire federal workforce emailed elon musk back, even though their direct supervisors told him it was not mandatory. >> i can announce that we have had more than 1 million workers who have chosen to participate in this very civil task of sending five bullet points to your direct supervisor or manager, ccing -- i participated. it took me about a minute and a half to think of five things i did last week. i do five things in about 10 minutes. all federal workers should be working at the same pace president trump is working and moving. >> doge is claiming now to have identified $65 million in cuts or duplicate payments so far. white house officials claimed the cabinet secretaries were not caught off guard by the weekend email asking for these bullet points. democrats for their part continue looking for ways to try to undermine the public's trust

terminations are not going to happen. it is based on what the head of the agency decides. she said that. it's different than what elon musk said, that terminations are happening. you have a bunch of the agencies, cabinet members from homeland security, from the energy department, from the department of justice, all saying "we will comply differently, not comply or" -- it's uncoordinated, which is why only one-third have replied on something that had a deadline that has already passed. >> well first of all, i think it is unfair to put any federal employee or any employee in the country up to donald trump's standards of working. like i worked 17 hours a day. nobody can keep up with him. but i like this idea. i have worked for the federal government. i hate the civil service system, frankly. i don't think it works very well. you have hundreds of thousands of really highly dedicated

federal employees who do an incredible job. that, you have a lot of employees who are just punching a time clock. it's a whole system that rewards mediocrity. we deserve, as taxpayers, a lot more from this. i like this idea of -- i'm going to do this with my employees. i have about a dozen people who work for me. and a rabbit at one time was a coo of a major company with probably thousands of employees. just saying, what did you do this week -- he gets people to concentrate on being productive and doing things that add value. >> focus was mark from karoline leavitt at that briefing. roberts, i will let you respond after this. this was an exchange with jacqui heinrich. >> also said that a reason that they wanted this email was to see if people are actually alive. >> this is to ensure that federal workers are not ripping off american taxpayers, that they are showing up to the office, doing their jobs. that is what the american people

expect. it's a simple task to complete. i did it myself. >> so, she is defending this action. >> but she also said to quote "the agency heads will determine the best practice for the employees," which is very different than elon musk saying failure to respond a second time will result in termination. all i said was it's not coordinated. i agree we should get read of a lot of the waste. i have said for years let everyone in congress go up and down and have an up and down vote, and every line item possible. i think you won't get anyone to actually get into -- listen, i'm always for cutting waste. i just think the approach, the idea of this chainsaw approach is not really working, just like when elon musk said we would cut $2 trillion, which mathematically does not exist because nondefense, nondiscretionary isn't even $1 trillion. i think we should do more with this, but i'm all for cutting waste and gaining efficiency.

democrats. house lawmakers in maryland proposing a bill that would reverse the ban on contraceptives in public schools. then, in the badger state, wisconsin, the governor wants to remove gendered words like mother and father. from state law. let's bring in mollie hemingway, federal -- and fox news contributor. let's go first of all to maryland where the department of legislator -- a bill to put condoms back in school. "this bill -- the misdemeanor penalty for selling or offering for sale a contraceptive or contraceptive device by means of a vending machine or other automatic device at a kindergarten, nursery school, elementary school, secondary school." what possible purpose could condoms have in three out of those four schools? kindergartners and elementary. >> as part of this bill, they are saying that the parents don't have the rights to control sex education for the children. what's interesting about this in addition to the moral and

ethical problems is politically, it has not gone well for democrats. the whole reason virginia turned red after this was considered to be an impossible task was because of how parents were prohibited from having a role in their children's curriculum. it became a very toxic issue that enabled republicans to be elected. maryland is a pretty blue state. this really is not a good issue for democrats. the vast majority of americans believe, reasonably so, that parents should have a role in their children's education, and schools have gotten too far down the line of pushing radical ideology at the expense of actual education. >> let's go to wisconsin where the governor has eliminated the words mother and father from state law and replace them with gwith -- gender-neutral terms. mother becomes "inseminated person." father becomes natural parents. they say it's about giving legal certainty to people going through it. listen to this -- "once again,
