>> president donald trump: have a good time, have a great tour! >> a special treat a lot of folks happy to be there as they head into the white house towards the first one of the year. the first lady has reopened the white house for tours i know people of got a very special place. that is the story for this for this tuesday. february 25th. the story goes on right here, there is so much going on and we will see you back here tomorrow at 3:00 have a lovely evening everybody, i will see you back here tomorrow. will cain getting started right about now.

>> will: live from the heartland this is the will cain show. welcome to the busiest hour in cable news, the busiest hour from america. president trump is set to sign more executive orders in the white house very soon. we could be getting those remark from the president after the signing and if that happens, we will bring them to you here. but, first, putting an end to the weaponization of our government. >> for the past four years it was not the people's justice department it was a political weapon. >> every day that passes the department of justice is losing institutional knowledge and exceptional attorneys because of a blind arrogance and vengeance. >> they are now filled with actual staggering corruption. >> will: every single time the only thing we get wrong is, it's always worse than what we thought. as we speak house oversight committee is promising to enter the golden age by ending the

weaponization of our justice department. those abuses on display at that hearing at l. is its a story that we have all become too familiar with because it's a story that has defined both the last five years and potentially the next five. if there was a metal stand of images that defined the american past and future, it would undoubtably have donald trump post assassination attempt, yelling, screaming, fight, fight, fight to americans. but getting silver, my go-to, the mug shot of donald trump. so much so if you and i were to walk into the oval office right now, if he were to visit the white house and make our way to president trump's office, to see a framed vision of that photo, of that mug shot as we entered the oval office. that brings me to today's big three. weaponization of our government, the weaponization of our justice department, is perhaps has seen
1:03 pm
no better illustration than cross fire hurricane. the investigation that ultimately turned into the russia hoax. chris from our fbi agent was at the hearing today, promising to reenter the golden age of america, giving some examples of this weaponization. >> a well-known example is cross fire hurricane and it was notorious of the 2016 trump presidential campaign tainted by surveillance orders. based on deliberately false information. containing opposition research. this was a company by an unprecedented infiltration of the campaign by multiple enforcements. further involves the potential entrapment of the pretext of an introductory intelligence briefing and rather than target the western influencers and protect the unwitting campaign operatives the fbi targeted the trump presidential campaign.
1:04 pm
when similar information was developed about the hillary clinton campaign she was immediately afforded a defensive everything. >> will: for five years we were subjected to the idea that donald trump was a russian asset. when that accusation tired, when it wore out the same way phrases and verbal techs like shadow governments were elon musk is actually the president inevitably fizzle, the left will move on to the idea that donald trump is a criminal. this is because our justice department managed to file numerous lawsuits in criminal charges against donald trump for a roughly five, six or seven year period. including election interference, classified documents, election interference in georgia, new york, hush money trials. it was all a stark contrast with the justice department did not do. it shows not to look into things like prosecuting the blm riders.
1:05 pm
-- rioters. all of this led to that moment when we saw on television, together, fbi agent raid mar-a-lago. donald trump's home in florida was rated in search of quote, unquote, classified documents and many suggested this was the strongest case against donald trump. built upon this soft foundation, this foundation of sand, democrats did take and today we can even hear them still echoing the idea that donald trump is a criminal. >> the only person who is a convicted felon is the man i'm looking at right now. >> donald trump the felon, has no plans to lower cost for families. >> we cannot have a convicted felon as president of the

united states. >> donald trump is a rambling incoherent convicted felon who incited an insurrection and wants to be dictator on day one. >> there's clearly a choice between a president with a record and somebody he was a convicted criminal and in my opinion, a traitor to our country. >> will: that became laughable. to most of us. we even sold merchandise for donald trump's mug shot, in the blazing with the slogan never surrender its also very serious because it was a clear politicization of our justice department and the attempt to manipulate an american election. today, it is time for can ability. not just us the house promises to look into this, but attorney general pam bondi has not put together a working group to look into the weaponization of the department of justice. let's bring in texas republican

congressman brandon, he is a member of the house committee who is in that weaponization hearing, he just stepped up to speak with us. thank you for being with us. if we are able to establish that there are prosecutors inside the doj that executed the marching orders of politicians, what can be done? what can be done with those prosecutors? >> first of all, thank you for having me on the show. we suffered through four years of the biden administration weaponizing the federal government against the american people and in particular his political enemies, a you named it a few examples but you can also add concerned parents who are worried about the curriculum that we are being taught. pro-life protesters that the biden fbi went after. you can name so many different examples, this is a two tear justice system, that is whatever committee is looking out for
1:08 pm
now. for four years under the of the joe biden and his cronies would steamroll investigations that would refuse to provide evidence, they would withhold evidence, they did everything they could to hide what they were actually doing. so we've got to continue these investigations because i think we barely scratched the surface. but to your point once we are done investigating and this will take some time, we have to follow up with action. what is different now is that we have a doj he was not politically partial, they are looking to institute justice, bring justice back to this country. and we have a ton of work to do but we are just getting started. >> will: a great point i'm glad you brought it up. disaffected everyday americans. i do hope and with the new attorney general pam bondi, we can see more the investigation and congress are important. but they are there to hide that information, they do have to form some level of accountability, it will be fascinating to see what abuse

1:10 pm
i feel good about where we stand with things right now, we have details we need to iron out but we have got to get this one big beautiful bill passed for the american people. >> will: congressman i only have one minute left and i hate to leave such an important story to such a little time. but for all the concern about elon musk and it doj and the privacy of the everyday american citizens there is a story out now the irs leaked 450,000 americans private data out there, to the public. what can you tell us about this story? >> if you remember last may a spokesperson for the irs said the only leaked data of 70 million americans -- 70,000, excuse me. this is being linked to a left wing news organization that is funded in part by george soros.
1:11 pm
we are learning today was not 70,000 it was 405,000. remembered these are the kinds of things that we have to get details on, this is why these congressional investigations are so important. because the american people deserve answers for what the biden administration was doing to them for four years. >> will: all the concerned about elon musk and quote, unquote, organizations, career bureaucrats we are supposed to trust with our private information, i don't know where that trust was earned. great to talk to you thank you for stepping out for us here today. cartel at turf wars, are they a window of opportunity? we have been talking to you about this. now today we are joined by independent journalist to put that journalist in mexico. do mexican people actually want the american military to provide security and stability by taking out the cartel? and shiny dishes.

>> will: it's never surprising, if the answer you gave me was yes, but i hear that high levels of mexican government in this case perhaps even the president, corrupt charged -- tied to the cartels? >> exactly the levels of corruption in mexico from local state police, all the way to president cabinets. those currently serving here in the united states, are held with the drug charges and corruption in mexico. mexican citizens they don't trust the government. and to make mexico safe and secure. >> will: one last question for you, this notion that this would have america in a quagmire, my former member also rejected the notion. he said that the drug cartels don't stand up for one another.
1:24 pm
one cartel would not stand up for another cartel and even lieutenants within a cartel, would not stand up and fight, should their top leader be taken out. because every man in the business is looking out for himself. it's not some cohesion to fight back against the military strike. >> i agree that is exactly right. with president trump naming these cartels as terrorist organizations you would think the mexican cartels would come together and fight against the united states. but it's the complete opposite. they are fighting each other and it will be getting themselves and once they see that mexican -- i'm sorry the u.s. military, there is no way they can match up to u.s. forces and what they are going to do is disband and go into blend in with civilians. they will not fight and risk dying for something that maybe they don't believe in. for them is just a lifestyle. to me, they will dis- mend and

is something four or five times bigger than the ukrainian military. they have something like 10 times the artillery that the ukrainians do. ukrainian leaders themselves have said this. they have drones, they have air superiority, they are able to drop this enormous 3000-pound bomb they dropped from 50 yards behind the line of contact. ukrainians are losing and they have been losing territory virtually every day for approximately one year. it is not to say anything that the casualties, the ukrainians have lost hundreds of thousands of people. this is a war in which ukrainians are losing on the ground, losing territory, losing people in their countries getting destroyed. you have to ask what this all four? i don't think this is in a strategic interest of the united states. certainly the biden administration never explained what it was we were trying to accomplish. if the goal here was to try and prevent russia from taking over
1:44 pm
ukraine there is a very easy way or the biden administration to do that. the first month of the war, back in april of 2022, there was a peace deal on the table called to the instant bull agreement. a required to agree to neutrality. if they agreed to it, if they agreed to limits on the size of their forces so they would not be perceived as a threat to russia in russia's eyes, then russia agreed to basically leave the country and takeover no territory. this is a deal that ukraine could have had in the first month of the war. unfortunately what happened is the biden administration did not support this deal and boris johnson flew to kyiv and told president zelenskyy that will don't want to make a deal with who and we want to challenge putin in the biden administration promised ukraine would have all the weapons they need to defeat russia and the biden administration did give them lots of aida but it was not
