what's the first thing you want to see her accomplish on behalf of our kids? >> i want her to set the agency straight on what its mission is it's not crazy ideological indoctrinating our children. it's educating our children. we have got to get scores up around this nation. it is a disaster that we are so far back in eating and math scores when we spend the most per pupil. that's insane. that goes to show you how much fraud and waste is out there in the education system. it's not going towards advancing the interest of our children. in fact, it's undermining american success. and so, i know -- i met with her personally. i was very proud to support her. she is going to do a great job. and set education in this country back on the right course. proud of president trump for nominating her. >> so, senator, there is also this out of new york city, the city is making it easier for illegal immigrants to get city ids which makes easier to get benefits and housing.

very interesting because of oversight hearing where mayor adams is going to be testifying. this is sure to come up. what's your reaction to that as the federal government and many republican states are trying push back against this very thing? >> absolute insanity. they are expanding the ways illegal immigrants can get ids to get more benefits, housing, healthcare, et cetera. and, look, one of the ways they can do that is shockingly show their paperwork from the federal bureau of prisons. they are rolling out a welcome sign to those who have been convicted felons to come into their city and use that to get identification if you are here illegally. think about that. this, again, is the party that thinks they know better and they set out their policies. they destroy the cities and states that they are in. and meanwhile, they want to enact these policies that are reckless and dangerous and pretty much set their city on fire. and they want their citizens, taxpayers to pay for it.
3:00 am
and when they have run out of their own taxpayer money, they wanwant the rest of the american taxpayers to pay for it. it's incredible they would ever ever keep pus pushing this insa. trump has said we are not funding your mess anyone anymore. we are cleaning up this house. policies undermining the stability and security of your cities. that's over. and it's insane they will keep crashing the car into the house we are trying to rebuild. >> todd: policies like new york's is incentive if they're going to be getting these things. i'm curious to see if federal funding goes away if that stops. senator ashley moody. thank you for your time. enjoy tonight's joint address. >> carley: that's right. we all be will be. >> good morning. >> carley: "fox & friends" starts right now. have a great day, everybody. ♪ >> brian: all right. it is 6:00 a.m. on the eas
