water. we reported on this yesterday, there are parts that are new. konanki last seen at 4 a.m., her friends leave at 5 a.m. the man she was with, presumably ribe, leaves beach at 9:55 a.m. and she is not reported missing until 4 p.m. later that day. drones, boats, dogs and thermal cameras. many are wondering why did it take so long to report her missing. >> it is troubling it took so long for her to be reported missing, they need to continue searching land and sea, not sure if this story, if she was swept away or drown holds merit. there is no sign of foul play, there is no sign she was swept away, as well.

came back from some sort of outing. that was the official missing report that happened hours laters in the day. that is the suspicion here. not only did this man she was with leave the beach hours later, you would think if there was any indication she was in trouble and you had been able to leave the water safely, you would tell somebody what was going on. as far as his actual whereabouts, we don't have that confirmed. we have a number where we gave him a call personally, we did not get an answer and trying to get more. >> ainsley: so many strange things. the guy gave three different stories. one was she was taken away in a big wave. another accounting said he saw her last walking in knee-deep water. what was being reported, the

friends left and she was last seen at 4:50. this is saying they left the beach, her group with one other guy at 5:55. they did not see her for an hour and five minutes and the other guy leaves at 9:55 and tells three different stories, it does not add up. one report her friends had her wallet and phone, that is highly unusual, you would normally take both with you. >> there are a lot of questions that need to be answered and that is why the parents are here in dominican republic demanding authorities evaluate all possibilities. there could have been alcohol involved and these things investigators are trying to understand what happened shortly after 4:00 a.m. on thursday morning.
