6:01 pm
>> sean: welcome to hannity. tonight we have a lot of ground to cover with baked of elements at home and abroad. karoline leavitt we will get our white house briefing from her and more on her clash with the so-called reporter from the very anti-trump associated press. very woke associated press. part two of my interview with hhs secretary robert kennedy jr. who made this promise during our trip this weekend. >> if you tried to take away the president's favourite foods you would be fired i'm pretty convinced. >> are not going to do that. >> sean: you better not take away the president's food. we will have much more of our interview later in the show, we will talk about measles, we will talk about the price of eggs and everything else that's going on. first tonight thinks to president trump we are one step closer to peace in europe. we can all pray, take a look.
6:02 pm
>> today we made an offer that the ukrainians have accepted which is to enter into a cease-fire and into immediate negotiations to end this conflict in a way that's enduring and sustainable and accounts for their interest and their security in their ability to prosper as a nation. we will take this offer to the russians and we hope they will say yes. the ball is now in their court. >> the fighting has to stop. just think about it, we've gone from if the war is going to end to now how the wars going to end and this was an important first step and that was under president trump's leadership. he has moved the entire conversation to where we had a very senior ukrainian delegation with us today. we've had engagements with our russian counterparts and now it's how the wars going to end and that's under president trump's leadership. >> sean: all the praise from america's old-school hippie liberals, the ones that you still up to say all we're saying is give peace a chance.
6:03 pm
where have those people gone? this is by far the closest we have come to peace since the start of the war. i hope the death and destruction ends. anybody with a heart, conscience and sold should hope for the same. just ten days ago the state run legacy media mob, democrats were all hysterical. this after the meeting at the white house, they told us trump ruined america's relationship with ukraine and are standing around the world for years and years to come and that peace was never going to even have a chance to happen. you might recall, take a look. >> it could come hours after an oval office ambush of an american ally that will reverberate all around the world and stay in america's image for years to come. it revealed instead donald trump and j.d. vance clearly... >> they are popping the champagne in moscow. they've got their best vodka out and they're doing shots as we speak. >> that's the same thought that went through my head to.
6:04 pm
>> the propaganda is what coming out of j.d. vance's mouth. >> i want to start... hold that thought for one second. take it away. >> never in the history of modern diplomacy, war, peace, whatever, have i ever, ever, ever seen anything like it. >> sean: you never metaphors like donald trump before. that's about right. blinded by their rage democrats, the legacy media mob are unable and unwilling to tell their viewers the truth. if you were watching this program you were better informed. in fact here is what i was reporting ten days ago. >> i predict zelenskyy he's going to be back. he has to be back. how much more death and destruction will it take for him to come back? >> if the media mob wasn't so
6:05 pm
blinded by their anti-trump rage they'd be able to see the following. especially if you are in the state run media mob i will go very slow for your benefit. president trump introduces a plan. negotiations usually ensue right thereafter. step two democrats, the media all freaked out. it's like alka-seltzer and water they tell everyone that this guy is falling and the world is coming to an end. step three don't trump uses america's tremendous strength and leverage to negotiate as many favourable deals that are in america and the world's best interest. the chicken little on the left looks stupid and dishonest as per usual. this pattern is now playing out yet again with trade negotiations and tariffs against canada and mexico. canada just back down from a 25% tax on electricity, exported to the u.s. trump's proposed tariffs on
6:06 pm
canadian steel and aluminum have been paused while the countries hopefully will be able to hammer out a deal of free and fair trade. we've got a deal with real issues here. canada must address three very glaring issues. first they need to shut down illegal immigration and fentanyl trafficking across their border. with the u.s. it's never been higher than it is now. second the free ride for our friends in canada and i consider the people in canada are friends is over. canada must start paying for their own self defence and don't forget all nato allies are required to spend 2% of their gdp on defence. of the u.s. spends nearly double that target at almost $1 trillion a year. canada meanwhile only spends a measly 1.37% of its gdp on national defence. our neighbours to the north must fulfil their obligation to nato. third the issue that canada must resolve are the pretrump tariffs
6:07 pm
and limits imposed against a variety of american goods. you may not know this, we already have a trade imbalance with canada. they already put tariffs on us. how many of you knew that? a base 7.5% tariff on milk but the amount of imports is capped and after that cap is reached than the tariff rises to a whopping 241%. that's not good for american dairy farmers in wisconsin and elsewhere. there is also a 200% supply management tariff on eggs and poultry and nearly at 300% supply management tariff on butter and cheese. for friends to the north, we either have free and fair trade ob don't. if they want free and fair trade donald trump will give it to them. if they choose reciprocal tariffs that will be on them. i will also add one less thing. canada spends $30 billion on their military every year. the u.s. spends nearly a
6:08 pm
trillion dollars in the world knows that the united states will protect our friends to the north in canada if they are ever in need. just a little more appreciation would be nice from our friends to the north and i'm not sure if i really want canada to be the 51st state because i suspect that would be two more liberal senators and we don't need that. progress is underway and the trump haters look foolish. tonight we are seeing this very same pattern play out with doge as well. the hysteria directed and the outright evil directed at elon musk is absolutely insane. he's receiving constant death threats, tesla dealerships and owners are under attack all over the country. the smears, the lies from the media mob, the democratic party, the radical left our nonstop, why? all because elon musk supported donald trump, is now helping donald trump and losing billions of dollars in the process, he's
6:09 pm
helping to identify waste, fraud, and abuse of the washington swamp. helping to save our country from bankruptcy and insolvency. will hopefully be saving astronauts in just a few short days. i pray that mission goes well. i have every hope that it will and today the white house announced that attacks against tesla dealerships will be labelled as domestic terrorism and he had this to say about the leader. >> this man has devoted his energy and life to doing this and i think he's been treated very unfairly by a very small group of people. i want people to know that you can't be penalized for being a patriot. and he's a great patriot speed >> sean: the hysteria directed at him from the left it is ugly and sick and twisted it is now downright evil and dangerous. for the record as i promised yesterday i ordered my tesla today.
6:10 pm
it's on x if you want to look at it. or you can see it on hannity.com. you start to understand the hysteria of the left when you see reports like this one. usaid official tells remaining staffers shred and burn your documents. i think that would be illegal. we ought to check with pam bondi on that. that is a pretty good sign that elon musk and his team are doing exactly what pull after pull of you with the american people want them to do. they are uncovering corruption and waste, fraud, and abuse at the highest level, all paid for with your hard-earned tax money. he's hated for stopping an out-of-control bureaucracy from stealing from your children and your grandchildren and he's getting death threats. his dealerships are being attacked. charging stations put a blaze and a boycott to try and bankrupt him. this is beyond sick. once again the state run media
6:11 pm
mob, democratic party look stupid, dishonest. tonight we have yet another example of this pattern surrounding the price of eggs. for the past four weeks the left has been in a state of hysteria. they told us in spite of biden inflation that it was only transitory. visit the border was secure. they said joe was a cognitive pillar of strength and the rising price of eggs, blaming trump for the economy that he inherited even though the increase was caused by the biden administration and bird flu related to mass murder of chickens. now after less than two months under donald trump look at this, prices are starting to come down. take a look. >> i had no inflation. i had a great economy. he gave you high prices, you couldn't buy bacon or anything. i inherited a situation with eggs. the price of eggs was through the roof. now the price has come down a lot. interest rates have come down.
6:12 pm
gasoline prices have come down. it's all coming down. it's all a beautiful thing. i could do it the right way or the wrong way. i have tremendous confidence in this country and the people of this country. much more so then if i sat back for four years and had a good time in the oval office. >> sean: the moral of the story is simple, tune out the noise and the hysteria and the lying and the screaming and if they are great patriots that are trying to help our country and they are under fire for doing nothing but serving the people in this country, maybe we can help support them because obviously the left is a vendetta attitude about everything. there's no doubt we're still dealing with the effects of biden's terrible presidency. we are living under the biden-harris economy. president trump is busy now executing the plan that he wants to fix what is broken and generate a new era of peace and prosperity, what he calls a
6:13 pm
golden age in america. the results are starting to pour in. here with analysis, our friend larry kudlow. can you explain, i interviewed elon musk, i happen to like him a lot. i'm fascinated by the guy. all i see that he's done is he has identified well over 100 billion in waste fraud abuse and i would argue corruption. he's saving astronauts, help the people after helene and north carolina... than he's building out the possibility of ai generated support that will help the blind to see and people with spinal cord injuries walk. can you explain why he's hated because i don't understand it. >> elon musk is a great patriot. and he's a compassionate guy and he's brilliant and he's a genius. he's devoting his entire time right now to trying to save
6:14 pm
america from bankruptcy. he's got a team of 100 people. he expects to build it out to 200 people. i talked to him in my interview yesterday about this. there are all the agencies and departments working very hard. their goal is to find a trillion dollars worth of savings because of waste fraud abuse and corruption as you said in your opening. by the way this is not new. they looked at this last year and came up with a number that was 500 billion but no whatever acted on it. here's the difference. elon is going to get 500 billion and find much more and... is putting together a big rescissions package which would essentially stop the spending on all these areas that were abused and fraudulent and corrupt. the appropriations can be taken
6:15 pm
away with simple majorities in the house and senate. this is what elon musk is doing. there earning his electric chargers, they fired shots into one of his dealerships. they are demonstrating around it, it's absolutely crazy stuff. meanwhile he's forging ahead. he's told me he's going to go at least another year. he told me basically this entitlement problem, not the benefits from the big entitlements, but the fraud like social security, people are 150 years old getting social security checks which is insane. or small businesses getting credits where people under 11 years old. nobody checked this stuff before, he's checking it. it's going to translate as i said into rescinding... it's like tearing up a check. that's with going to happen. the house and the senate have to
6:16 pm
get on the stick and pass these budget packages and you are going to bend spending down. this is the key. trump wants less spending. he wants lower federal workforce and he wants to reprivatize the economy. part of this business, the stock market selling off over tariffs. that's crazy. tariffs are not inflationary and they won't lead to recession. trumps reciprocal tariff policy is very good and you saw the canadian back off today promptly when trump threatened him. let's get the tax cuts through immediately. i know there is a continuing resolution to keep the government open but i don't for the life of me understand why they can't put the tax cuts and there. did you hear trump a week ago tonight, he gave the most brilliant speech about american greatness and there are no limits. in that speech he emphasized
6:17 pm
getting the tax cuts, making them permanent. how about this. he's saying i will give you full 100% expensing. full depreciation from day one for machinery, for equipment and get this, for factories. by the way made in america factories will get a 15% corporate tax rate. and by the way after four or five or six weeks in office, almost $2 trillion of foreign investment has now been pledged to come into the united states. so guess what, you put the money into the united states you don't have to worry about tariffs. we rebuild our factory. rebuild our industrial base. these are terrific pro-growth policies and congress... listen to what elon musk is saying. he's a great patriot and a great american. you are right, i asked him this,
6:18 pm
he's going to rescue those astronauts that joe biden literally left hanging in outer space. and that is another sign of elon musk's patriotism. >> sean: they don't want to understand trump. he's negotiating at all times that's why apple is going to spend 500 billion in four years. that's why it nissan and honda are building in america. that's why this taiwanese chip company is now coming here but he will learn over time. >> just let his plan take place. get it through congress and we will see an absolute blue-collar boom. >> sean: people forget it's not his economy yet. we are still living under the biden-harris economy. appreciate you, thank you for being with us. white house press secretary caroline levitt, we get our white house briefing from her.

>> sean: the state run legacy media mob has clearly not learned their lesson despite there rapidly declining relevance, they are still trying to make a name for themselves. but no surprise picking fights they do it by picking fights with the trump administration every chance they get. watch this exchange between a reporter and white house press secretary karoline leavitt >> when president trump last addressed the team, is big push was on tax cuts. he's going there today as he's proposing tax hikes in the form of tariffs. i'm curious -- have you ever paid a tariff because i have?

6:26 pm
you can side with a foreign terrorist organization that has killed american citizens, that has murdered innocent babies, men, women and children across the globe. under this a administration that type of activity, siding with radical islamic terrorists, will not stand. the trump administration at the direction of president trump executive order has a zero-tolerance policy for foreign nationals who are given the privilege of getting a visa and going to some of our finest universities and colleges, studying at those institutions and then siding with these radical terrorist organizations. this arrest that took place on the campus of columbia is the first of many to come. they are working together and i would like to add and emphasize to the mainstream media who still doesn't get it, this is well within the presidents and

6:28 pm
canada in particular has placed on american agricultural goods to the tune of nearly 300 percent, look at the tariffs they've implemented on our automobiles. finally the american people have a president who is standing up for them, for hardworking american workers and their families for our industries, in the beauty of president trump's tariff policy is that it's very simple. all he's asking for is reciprocity. we're going to treat nations the way they have treated the united states for far too long. canada saw if you want to step up into the big leagues you better be prepared to play. it looks like they are not because the ontario premier also asked mike already dropped his 25% tariff on electricity after having a threat to shut off electricity for the american people. president trump said absolutely not. he did what is right he stood by the american people and his tariff policy is working. it's going to make america wealthy again and bring jobs

here in washington, d.c. the same foreign policy class that has always doubted president trump continues to. but the president masters the art of the deal. he's a negotiator in chief and he put president zelenskyy in his place and told him that the americans are serious about a long-term peace deal and we are very pleased with the way that the ukrainians and this deal today turned out and we hope that this will continue in a long and everlasting peace. that's president trump school and we hope we can deliver on that goal. >> sean: i made a promise yesterday i was buying a tesla and people can look at it online. it's the most american made car of any car made in the u.s. i live about -- i only have 30 seconds. he knew explain why there is this hatred, what does he -- what has elon musk done to gather this hatred of the left because i'm having a hard time understanding it.

>> sean: over the weekend i sent down with health and human services secretary rfk jr. at a steak 'n shake in florida. the food was amazing. we discussed a number of topics including the measles outbreak across several states. health officials in texas announced that they have now confirmed 223 cases since late january. it's important to know that a similar small cases and outbreaks have happened regularly around the country during the biden years. we also discussed bird flu, its impact on chickens and eggs. here is part two of my interview >> i had a long conversation with governor abbott of texas. it's relatively small, we've had measles outbreaks long before you were health and human services secretary. there was one in new york last year.
6:37 pm
>> we had 16 outbreaks last year. some years we have hundreds of outbreaks. measles outbreaks every year and part of that is there are people who don't vaccinate but the vaccine itself wanes. the vaccine wanes about 4.5% per year. that means older people are essentially unvaccinated. their immune system is not protected and one of the problems is that tends to shift measles infections to older groups and also two very young children. it used to be everybody got measles and measles gave you lifetime protection against measles infections. the vaccine is effective for some people for life but many people it wanes. one of the problems is does

they were protected by breast milk and maternal immunity. it does not provide... so we are now seeing measles hidden very young kids and hitting older people... that is something we need to worry about and that we are looking at. >> governor abbott was singing your praises. you providing the vaccines. triage basically. >> there are many studies,...
6:39 pm
death from measles, historically it was between one and 1201 and 12,000. so it does not have a high infection fatality rate and the people... they were malnourished. the vaccine came around in 1963 and the program... but it's something we are worried about and something we are keeping an ion. i've spoken with governor -- governor abbott and officials all over texas. i've spoken with the family of the one girl who died. it's a heartbreaking story. i've spoken with health officials all over the one there are -- there are people who are choosing not to get vaccinated. one thing governor abbott did emphasize, he said you have made vaccines to whatever number they need to the state of texas.
6:40 pm
>> anybody who wants a vaccine can get one and we will make sure of that. >> and he can get it for free? >> yes. >> people wanted to create an image that you are against that, you are not. >> on the freedom of choice person. we should have transparency, informed choice what if people don't want it they shouldn't force them to do it. there are adverse effects from the vaccine. does cause deaths every year. it causes all the illnesses that measles itself because. so people ought to be able to make that choice for themselves. what we need to do is give them the best information and encourage them to vaccinate. the vaccine doesn't stop them spread of the disease. >> you said encourage them to. that frustrates me because i listen to people talk about you and they don't tell the truth and that bothers me.
6:41 pm
i don't like when people don't tell the truth. >> let me ask you a concern and you inherited this. president trump inherited this is the avian flu which is impacting the cost of eggs and check-in in the country. -- chicken in the country. what he think we do short-term and long-term. to be important eggs or chickens , do we have to wipe out the population that might be infected by this? >> first of all avian flu will never be a advocate it. it is endemic and wild populations of birds mack that's what infects the domestic flocks. you will never get rid of it and it doesn't appear to her wild birds. they have some kind of immunity.
6:42 pm
the strategy, all of my agencies have... if you vaccinate with a leaky vaccine, vaccine that does not provide sterilizer immunity and is not absolutely protect against the disease, you turn those flocks into mutation factories. they are teaching the organism how to mutate. it's much more likely to jump to animals if you do that. so all my agency has... all said we should not be vaccinating. the question is should you call -- call those flocks. most of our scientists are against the culling operation. they think we should be testing therapeutics on those flocks. they should isolate them, you should let -- let the disease go
6:43 pm
through them and identify the birds that survive which are the birds that probably have a genetic inclination for immunity and those who should be the birds that we breed like the wild population. right now the white house strategy is to repopulate those farms that have been depopulated. we've killed 166 million chickens. that's why we have an egg crisis. the disease is not passed through food. you cannot get it. as far as we know you cannot get it from an egg or milk or meat from an infected animal. the white house strategy now... i'm all on board with this, we should arm or the domestic populations to insulate them from wild infiltration. this is how these birds are getting infected.
6:44 pm
most of them are open-air poultry farms. they will fly into eat some of the corn and that infected mallard will infect the flock. i think that is the best strategy and also to intensively test therapeutic drugs on those flocks so you put a therapy in half the population and if that half that is treated survives, now you have a drug that potentially is useful in human beings to treat avian flu. that's what we should be doing. >> you work for a boss although he's getting healthier. >> i saw him yesterday and i think he's lost 30 pounds. >> he looks great and he told me he is not using -- if he has a burger he doesn't have it with a bond.
