for a missing university of pittsburgh student who vanished in dominican republic last week while on spring break. >> brian: sheriff from her hometown of virginia named a person of interest. >> steve: nate foy live from punta cana with the latest details. tell us about this person of interest. >> well, we are still learning about the person of interest, i would say most notably and good morning, seeing final moments that sudiksha konanki was seen before her disashes appearance and it was with this person of interest. take a look at this surveillance video taken at the resort she stayed. it shows sudiksha konanki with her friends just after 4 a.m. on thursday morning. she was with a young woman who appears to take a selfie wither had. now the sheriff of her hometown

in virginia says this is a person of interest. louden county sheriff's office says this is still a missing person case, not a criminal case, the sheriff wants to make sure investigation is comprehensive and includes all techniques. we are working with the fbi on this and working with the dominican republic national police. we saw dominican armed forces spoerting with scuba divers in the water and helicopters in the air. they say they have 300 agents investigating on the coast and search area expanded. the hotel,ria republica confirms it had a power outage in the 24 hours leading up to her disappearance. many people did not have air conditioning, they went to the beach to cool off and relax. dominican police say they are reinterviewing all witnesses to

have burn areas and areas that are susceptible to flooding and rockslides. back to lawrence, inside. >> lawrence: thanks, jd. fox news alert. key inflation report just released, february consumer price index shows inflation rate ticking down slightly from last month and year toer yoo. former trump economic advisor steven moore joins us now. explain the report for us. >> we are just looking at the numbers, what it indicates is that we still have an inflation hangover from the biden years. last three or four months inflation has been growing at three to four percent and weun wa to get that down to 2 percent. biden had a massive spending spree in last three or four months in office. when you spend and borrow that much money, it raises prices.
