18 sars in 300 years. those were the folks that ruled with absolute authority and no accountability. in just six months of being in office president obama now has at least 32 of them. and more are on the way. let's be fair, presidents from is about to george w. bush have appointed so-called czar to have task force or work across agency lines to accelerate the ridiculously slow wheels of government lets not forget the truly inspired man who created our form of government decided to go slow in making changes to they were so afraid of testing too much power in one person or even one branch of government that they created a government that was a stuff to steer is a big ship with a small writer. there are three reasons to be concerned about a government by czar. typically they don't have congressional oversight or work within the boundaries of accountability within an agency
2:04 am
that has rules and regulations in place of interactive, revised and approved through a thorough process. the second reason is that you have to pay for these. government operates off your dime. because the only times they have are the ones that take out of your pocket. by the way, to be honest with you where not talking times we're talking dollars. trillions and chosen them and this is a government that wants more. the third reason is that a lot of them, having them is indicative that government is trying to do a lot of things in a hurry. when government goes fast, it usually goes wrong. i would rather trust a 16-year-old with the keys to a supercharged orbit than to trust government with a bunch of sour without a budget. we are supposed to have a government by the people for the people had yet of unelected czar's running everything from car companies to the california water supply violates the spirit if not the letter of the law. so with apologies to robert frost, a sentiment condition of type" little czar.

for excellence in government bully at a zoo. thank you for being a. >> thank you. [ applause ] >> mike: and democratic political consultant and former staffer for the governor of new jersey, tara del valle. great to be here. >> we know we have global warming, we are no longer debating about the effects of carbon emissions in our environment. and if we don't want to take -- you know sometimes it's hard to take a leadership position on something that your constituency doesn't want to give up, but what will it take for america two say i will use less gas to give i will use less electricity rather than just scary people to say this is going to cost you $3000, a taxpayer, which is already the bashed in debunked. what does america need to see to agree to use less. >> mike: there is some debate as to whether we are getting warmer, whether there is climate
2:07 am
change and who is affecting it. when i was in college the world was coming to a deep freeze so there is this difference. there is this point we can agree on. the boy scout rule. the boy scout rule is that your campsite in better shape than you found it. it's real simple. the bigger the better shape than you found it. so i have a personal responsibility, i don't want the government to tell me what i can or cannot do, but make sure i realize it's about my children and grandchildren be able to breathe the air, go to beautiful lakes and rivers and enjoy the magnificent creation that i get to enjoy it every week. >> okay, governor huckabee, but i want to move onto it -- i thought the first was controversial, now we're getting into the controversial area territory. speaking of territories, segway, israel a two state solution and expansion of settlements. given the fact that we are israel's grand, they're one of our biggest allies and they are a friend, as friends should the united states of america step in and encourage israel to do
2:08 am
things that might put them in a safer position later? >> mike: why don't we encourage all the hostile nations around israel gets where they back off and give israel a security zone. i've been there ten times i probably will be there for my polemic or 12th trip in the next six months, and one thing i understand is you can't have two sovereign governments claiming the same piece of real estate. we would never accept in the u.s. or if it will never work in the middle east. to ask the israelis to give up more top land at tiny sliver of property they barely have access to is probably not only unrealistic but it's unsafe. so is there a solution? i think there may be, but it does not involve having to governments trying to claim the same cities, neighborhoods and apartment buildings. >> i had a conversation with president clinton about this when he was president and one thing he said was this is like cutting siamese twins. you have to know where to cut in order to save both children. i wonder what's your view about
2:09 am
being that we need a solution, about his view on it and just what your thoughts are on how we cut to create space? >> mike: if you look at the total amount of land controlled by jewish people and the total amount of land controlled by the muslim world, there's a lot more space in the muslim world to give the palestinians a homeland rather than to take what the land the jewish people have who have been under absolute assault for most of the resistance. and listen, i would love to talk about this even more, our time is gone. let's do it again. you are both wonderful. >> thank you very much sue hecht thank you. >> mike: the mr. president, that soundbite give us an idea for a game. these so-called experts appointed by you, mr. president, those with no congressional approval, have the power to make assertions that affect us and to get into it without reporting to anybody. not the senate, not the media, just the president. there are now 32 of these czars. three more are waiting in the wings and a wonder who are they and are they really qualified? to find out we will have a game called "dancing with the czars." we're going to do this. we will pick some members of our studio items, and then we will show them pictures of some of the czars, give them some clues and ask them if they know what they are in charge of. if the contestant guesses what the seller does but will give them hear does a nice 100 how about that? here's one. he left princeton law school to work for president obama as a senate aide. does that help you to give jack a little. >> mike: what does he do? i really want to help you here. i'm a clue. get a clue is he is a pentecostal minister. does that help at all? >> a little. >> mike: i'm afraid we're going to hear the buzzer. yes, i know we would hear it. i'm glad i kept the $100. okay. here's what he does. he is the faith-based czar in charge of helping faith-based and secular groups that provide social services and job training. did you know we had a czar for that? straka heard something. >> mike: i think he is praying we don't find out how many czars we have and how much their cost america. but very much for playing with us today. out of the back. but turning?
