out-of-control spending. >> are silent no more. stop that tax and spending and do not end at our children and instead am in debt. stephen tea party organizers in washington state adding that point home posting the names of lawmakers on poor potties their message number government waste. for a fair and balanced debate join us. republican congressman trent franks and eugene green from the dnc also president of the group rock the vote, thank you both for being here i want to start with you. you believe this is all manufactured outrage to give. >> well, the great thing about america is that we are a free country. i'm a big believer in freedom of speech having worked for an organization that was founded on free speech for many years. but the reality is that there are organizations, local action committees, that are in a sense i feel like really hurting some
3:31 am
of these people -- hurting some of these people like cattle. some argue they have the best of intentions but some people are following the leader like little lemmings do when they go and dive off a cliff. they are not i think in the true fan of what our original evolutionary founding fathers were trying to do when they would face during and really talked about the points that they were upset with. what really concerns me is when we see the type of mccarthyism and fear that this is being promoted here. those aren't american values. when you say -- see kkk type sides, president obama compared to hitler, confederate flags flying during those marches, those are not american values so that concerns me. i know there are well-meaning people who are there but there are organizations behind this who have one simple goal in mind and that is to break this administration, that is to --
3:32 am
>> julie: are obviously -- within one or two while many people there. there are millions of americans, congressman franks as you point out, who oppose president obama's health care plan. many feel they are outraged pretty much over bigger government as it grows bigger and as it grows bigger the voices grow smaller as you point out. had these tea parties gotten that message to the president? will make a difference? two actually, i came away with the opposite perspective as your other guests. as i looked down on the capital steps it occurred to me saying tens of thousands of people filling the small that without people like this, there never would have been an america. these are people with dreams and big hearts and big hopes and they know every time government grows bigger that their dreams and hopes grow smaller. i saw people pushing baby carriages treated i saw a lot of veterans. i saw senior citizens. and to suggest that these are equal that don't represent
3:33 am
middle america is just ridiculous. these are the kind of people that have always stood up to radical government and the obama administration is the most radical left-wing government in the history of the united states. and these people simply want to make sure that we don't undercut the greatest foundations for freedom that the world has ever known. i have to tell you i see them as reinforcements have arrived just in time, i hope. >> julie: the frustration, and you have to see this among conservatives, is partly due to lack of bipartisanship and some sort of rest -- revolution -- resolution the fact that president obama is listening to their ideas, hearing his ideas -- sharing their ideas republican conservatives feel he does not. do you have any examples to disprove that? >> the reality is, julie, that president obama was elected by large numbers and democrats on the house and the senate by large, large shortage. someone i understand how you got into office.
3:34 am
we don't have much time. >> a part of that is because a lot of conservatives stayed home. this is their reawakening. there party was in disarray. if anyone watched -- i'm sorry president obama speech tonight, he put out his hands to republicans. he said if you have ideas that will help make our insurance -- health insurance issues more stable and more secure for americans, he reached out a hand and what he has gotten in return is talking points calling in the socialist. talking points that are really focused on breaking his administration. but he has reached out an olive branch and we'll see if the republicans come up with anything. i haven't so far. i hope they will do in reaching out extending an olive branch and speech doesn't necessarily mean reaching out. his speeches are fabulous but my question is is he listening to republicans to give. >> is absolutely listening. he talked about several points to impoverished and isolated close. >> i just have to tell you whether it's the give us package
3:35 am
of $787 million, whether it's the $40 billion spending package the two-time dollar tax increase in the form of the cap and trade. whether it's this idea of taking over government healthcare are taking over healthcare by government, republicans have been completely shut out of all of that. the obama administration has tried to make it sound like we have no alternatives. we held up our bills tonight in his speech, and they have ignored that. these people that came to washington, i got it to you, if they try to shove government healthcare down their throat, they may shove it somewhere else in the next election. the one we'll leave it at that. congressman franks and general green we appreciate you coming on. a very fair and honest debate i appreciate you both and taking some time. it went on "fox news sunday" an exclusive interview. chris also talk one-on-one with congressman joe wilson. you may better known as the person who accused prison obama of mine. he called him a liar during a

primetime address to a joint session of congress. since then the south carolina republican said he is sorry, and white house accepting his apology, that the controversy is not dying down. some on both sides of the clinical spectrum even using the outburst as a rallying point. "fox news sunday". right here on your local fox station. check your local listings for times. you can also catch it right here on fox news channel at 6:00 pm eastern. good stay tuned for the "fox report" for a complete wrapup. it should be interesting to my morning. some fireworks soon on the leader of one of our benjamin netanyahu traveled to moscow without telling the israeli media. early reports claimed he was there to stop the potential sale of antiaircraft missiles to iran. that has yet to be confirmed. being a man has more from jerusalem to mecca hi, julie. israel's attorney prime minister confirmed today that prime minister benjamin netanyahu did visit russia this week. he would not confirm the aim or
3:37 am
purpose of the trip, but he said no more time can be wasted regarding iran's nuclear threat. but in yahoo's advisers to the pressing and yahoo was at a military installation when he was actually on a secret trip to russia. reports suggest that netanyahu met with the russian president apparently trying to convince the russian government not to sell us 300s, surface-to-air missiles, to iran. russian as 300s if given to iran would be the one thing that stands in the way of israel's fighter jets hitting iran's nuclear facilities. these reports are emerging weeks before the un general assembly will meet in new york. the international community may push for stronger sanctions against iran, but it appears china and russia will not support harsher sanctions. the obama administration may still be open to testing the prospects of talks with iran. if that is not likely, sections may be the next option. julie?

>> julie: thank you so much. >> new word tonight the so-called lockerbie bomber is extremely ill and may not have wanted to live. al magrahi is the only person ever convicted in the deadly bombing of pan am flight 103 -- 103 over lockerbie, scotland. doctors say his health has significantly deteriorated over the past day. you remember a much different by brocchini. he was freed by scotland last month on humanitarian grounds after doctors said he had terminal cancer. a convicted terrorist, megrahi served only eight years of what was supposed to be a life sentence. his release sparked outrage around the world which intensified when he got a hero's welcome upon returning to libya. soon in germany, things get out of hand past the right-wing political rally. witnesses say thousands of left-wing demonstrators showed up at a rally ending to confront the right-wing activists. police had to step in and separate the two groups. they used water cannons to get the crowd under control.

3:44 am
it but critics argue that using food for fuel is wasteful. tonight we realize that will take biodiesel you don't have to go for it from food material. the whole process just to take the worst material, make some energy out of that. >> researchers at the university of nevada-reno got to thinking about chickens, because listen to this: united states producing 11,000,000,000 pounds of poultry waste every single year. the scientists have not found a way to make the iowa diesel from boiling the chicken feathers, feet and other byproducts. in fact there is enough of this waste to make about 593 experts say they are already doing it on a much smaller scale and laboratories, and the cost to produce fuel is roughly half of
3:45 am
what it costs to make traditional gasoline. but the best part, something you mentioned, biodiesel on average costs about $2 a gallon, meaning this of course could save consumers like you and me at the gas pump, although scientists don't have an exact timeline on when chicken power could officially become mainstream here in the u.s. echeconnee park fun thank you, casey spiegel. to make another surprising potential source of biofuel. researchers at the u.s. department of agriculture now say water balance, much more pleasing to the ear, could be used to power cars down the road. we are told one out of five watermelons go to waste because they are misshapen or have blemishes. these bad watermelons are usually just plowed back into the ground but scientists say the jews could be fermented to create biofuel. scenic city famous for car chases me up to the hype, and
