suffering is not pro proprotracted. this may sound trite right now, but my father told me it is not whether you win or lose, it is how you play the game. well, how are we playing this game? and is that something this game turned into? a war is not a game. a war cannot be won without honor and horror. stop the politics. find the honor and fight to win this thing so we can limit the horror an return home with honor. several years ago, i received an awful lot of heat for putting together a series of rallies across the country. i called them rallies for america. the media and the left, of course, did what they're doing now and made fun of me and the

was, now in afghanistan, in iraq, and that's what the people at the rallies promised, that we would do everything we had in our power to make sure that the public reaction for our troops, the ones that they experienced after vietnam, didn't happen this time, and that we would never abandon them. we would fight to win. well, tonight i continue to fulfill that promise to myself, mr. president. we may disagree on an awful lot of things but i don't think you want to have people killed. i don't think that you are intentionally trying to kill our troops or anything like that. please. i am begging you. follow the advice of your commanders on the ground and fight to win this war, or fire that commander and get one that agrees with you and will do it the way you want to. or just bring them home now.

it is immoral to do anything else. i have said on this program several times that i find myself becoming more and more libertarian all the time. it's because of our politician s. i don't seem to trust very many of them anymore. i don't think many of them have given us reason to trust them. we have troops all over the world right now putting their lives on the line and their families' lives on hold, and in return, they're being treated like garbage in the countries that they protect. south korea, japan, germany, find your own security! we're kind of busy right now and a little tired. not only is our military denied the tools and resources they need to finish their mission and come home, but how does the c.i.a. feel? has anybody in america really asked that? these are the people that put their lives on the line every single day, every single day after 9/11. these were the people that both parties went to and said

"get 'em! do what you have to do, get 'em!" and now they're being called liars, they're threatened with investigation, prosecution and have their hands tied. all my sources on capitol hill have told me that congress's main question to the c.i.a. in the aftermath of 9/11 was "are you sure you're doing enough to get the information?" oh, but now those same people areville villifying and threatening and cutting these people off at the knees. have you no shame? we won't investigate rampant corruption at acorn, but we will investigate the c.i.a. and what they did to keep us safe after 9/11? what is happened to our country? whose side are we on anymore? president obama just held a mini race summit at the white house after accusing a highly respected police officer of acting stupidly without even having all of the facts. he said that himself. again, jumping to such a conclusion about an officer

i mean, acorn was talking about bringing people in across the border 13 years old and having them engage in prostitution, and the people in congress this week are still sitting on their hands on this! it makes you wonder sometimes, whose side are we on, but let me tell you something. when it comes to the police officers, when it comes to the troops, i stand firmly in their corner. i think the american people know who side with their own. we stand with the troops and the police officers and mr. president, please, if they're not the right guys, if you disagree with their mission, if there's a problem, let's face it right now and get it done. give them the tools to do their job. give them the men and the women that they need or bring them home, please.

5:22 pm
so, quickly, looking at last night, here is the bit from start to finish, which they should have posted. i think it even jumped out of my hand there. get the little frog here. barack obama has galvanized the country. right now, america. because of the sheer size of the bills he has proposed, and the number of the bills, the urgency that he has been placing on the bills. he forced us to think and get involved. we have, not like john mccain, been boiled slowly. we have been tossed quickly into boiling water, and don't forget what happens when you throw them in. when you throw them in, frogs into boiling water? the ambassador is here and i know pete will be all over me.

but just to set the record for people who couldn't tell, do you think you might make a statement on the show clarifying that it was a ruse and reiterating that he is against cruelty to animals? of course i'm against cruelty to animal the, and i absolutely love them. i mean, look at me. i'm practically half dog. thank you, peta. now, the reason why i wanted to point this out, and i knew this was going to happen. we looked at each other at 7:00 yesterday morning, and i said oh, watch, watch the blogs, watch people just go crazy to disked it me, to make me now into some evil frog killer. look how eager people are to smear. the very next line after the youtube clip that they cut out makes it clear the frog was safe. they had to cut it in the middle of a monologue. all these people think they could fool anybody into believing that i'm a frog killer maybe i am.
