5:00 pm
[captioning made possible by fox news channel] glenn: welcome to the glenn beck program. are we facing the end of the almighty dollar? and the latest on the acorn embezzlement. and i told you for a long time now you have to watch the other hand. we have been. is our freedom of speech under attack without anyone really real liesessing it? we'll give you an update. if you believe this country is great but we could be redistributing the wealth to death, stand up! come on, follow me.
5:01 pm
glenn: well, hello, america. did you wake up this morning and read about what is going on with the dollar? yeah? probably not, i mean if you still get the news from the newspaper. i mean, especially if you get the news from an american newspaper, then you didn't read what was going on with the dollar definitely. if you only get the paper, you probably -- well, i'm guessing you know the name of all of david letterman's interns and the latest with jon & kate plus 8, did you the demise of the american dollar, please! didn't you hear they arrested are erin andrews' stalker? why would we waste time talking about the dollar? we have plenty of them. here is why. whenever i ask people how it is that they can possibly believe that we can sustain the out-of-control spending and foreign debt that we have, they always respond exactly the same way -- oh, you're such a worrywart. we're going to be fine. america just will. we have mounted problems bigger than this one, we're america. ok. that's nice optimism, but what
5:02 pm
are you basing it on besides we're america? i'm sure you're going to be a favorite with lindsey graham, he's optimistic about stuff as well, but that doesn't really provide comfort after what i read in the "independent on the demise of the dollar." that was the is headline of the story in the u.k. paper. they claim that arab states have launched secret moves with china, russia and france to stop using u.s. currency for oil trading. they plan, instead, to move towards a basket of currencies. oh. that sounds inclusive, doesn't it? i mean, are there isn't witches in it. the basket includes the euro, the pound, the sterling, the canadian dollar, the sweetdish crown and the french franc. there seems to be something missing there. what do you say? just so you know, the saudi central bank governor denies the secret talks took place. in fact, they said "at this time
5:03 pm
there is absolutely no reason to move away from the dollar. we have no plans." uh-huh, uh-huh. so i'm sure we can all assume that the dollar is here to stay, and everything is just peachy. but in the off chance that maybe somebody in the middle east wouldn't tell us exactly the truth, you know, that they're not 100% reliable, maybe we should discover what it means for our dollar and our country if it's no longer pegged to oil. what does that mean for you? well, everybody -- let me show you this. a long time ago, back after the world war, in fact, during world war i, it started. america had a whole bunch of gold. everybody had gold, ok, but they were borrowing money from us, because they were fighting the war, so we said, you know what? why don't you just give us some gold? after world war ii, we
5:04 pm
officially went to the gold standard for the u.s., and we said, you know what? there's just not enough gold for everybody. why don't you just use the dollar, and what we'll do is we'll give you guys equal amounts of money so everybody has currency. u.s. dollars. it's fantastic, and we'll just keep all the gold, and we promise, we're never going to trash our dollar. we never would do that to you guys because we love you, and we're trustworthy. got it? so everybody gave us the gold. we still had a nice stack of cash here, and gold. you're over here. you don't have any gold, right? this is you. this is you. this is your savings. how much did you lose if you had any money in your 401k? did you lose, let's say, i don't know, 40% of it? well, that's gone. now, did you know that the dollar has lost nearly 29% of its value in the last 7 years?
5:05 pm
29%. that's gone. just gone. 9% of that drop was in the last six months alone. you now only have this much left. now, you can compare that to the basket of currencies, oh, that nice basket they're talking about. i love. this in the last six months on these currencies, it has lost 189% to the australian dollar, 13% to the canadian dollar. do you remember when the canadian dollar was a joke? and 12% to the japanese yen. how come you haven't heard all of this? while you were sleeping, they came for your 401k and then they just came four dollars. well, most people haven't minded that much. our attitude has been, well, the dollar goes down, we will be able to make more, because then we will be able to sell our goods and it's good for business and we will be able to make more stuff and sell to more people. yeah, yeah. well, here's what's happening.
5:06 pm
now the rest of the world -- see, oil is only traded in dollars. that's it. you can only buy oil with dollar s. well, if we go to the basket of currencies, they get the end of the dollar, well, they don't need all of this. already, china is divesting themselves of the dollar. they're just throwing this over here. they're just getting rid of those, because they're buying up all kinds of stuff. they're buying up land, minerals, oil wells, all kinds of stuff, so they're getting rid of it, and everybody else, well, if the gulf states get their way, well, they're just going to push all these dollars over to here, and they'll just trade in the basket of currencies, which, by the way, doesn't include the dollar. what does that mean? oh, that means we have more money. that will be great! look at all the money we have! yeah. except if we have all of this moneyed intoing the flooding the
5:07 pm
world, where does your little stack go? your little stack, now worth about that much. con gatt lations. oh, but by the way, don't worry about it, because we can just print more of this. it is called monetizing our debt. hyperinflation. this is why you don't do what we're doing! you keep printing money, and there's no stopping! why is there no stopping? because the people in congress don't have a spine! the government thinks, including the president, and the last president thinks you will freak out if we say we've got to cut back on our spending. you won't be able to have as much. we have to dolt responsible thing. they don't think you're capable of understanding that. they don't think you're capable of doing the hard things! i'm sorry. but if you're one of those people who think america will always be there because we're america, let me make one thing very, very clear to you. america can fail without
5:08 pm
vigilance. it is possible. yeah. wasn't it only back in january that we had a united states congressman say that america was three hours away from ra complete economic and political collapse that would bring about martial law? i mean, i don't know if he was right on that one, but is it possible that it could happen? let me ask you this -- do you remember what it felt -- close your eyes for a second. do you remember what it felt like on september 11? do you remember how fragile this country felt, and we all thought, oh, my gosh, it could be over tomorrow. are you are honestly telling me thaw believe this country is in better shape financially now than we were on september 9, 2001? if you do, you're living in a fantasy land. i expect tattoo to say "da plane, da plane." it can fail easily.
5:09 pm
the strongest can fail. have you been to the redwood forest? the redwood forest in california, these gigantic trees. they stand for hundreds of years and can withstand great storms and fires an earthquakes. if you have never been to these forests, you have to go. they're unbelievable. almost nothing can take them down, but there is something that can take them down and has, something very tiny, a little beetle. they get inside of the trees and they start infecting it, and little by little they continue to eat and consume and they weaken the trees, and before you know it, the trees begin to fall. what mighty winds and storms an earthquakes and fires could not take down, a nine ny little beetle can -- a tiny little beetle can. from the inside, our society, our government, our financial and business system is infested with tiny beetles. it's called corruption.
5:10 pm
it's called me, me, me, me. lindsey graham said, and god bless him, he said that i'm a pessimist. no, i'm not. i think america's best days are ahead of us, but he doesn't think that. he thinks that i believe her best days are behind her. he said he doesn't listen to pessimists. >> you can listen to him if you like. i choose not to, because, quite frankly, i don't want to go down the road of thinking our best days are behind us. glenn: let me ask you a question. do you think i do? o you know, there are people that watch this show and say he is just a raving t.v. guy. i believed in ronald reagan. pessimism doesn't work with the american people. you think i want to believe that? as a dad, do you think i want to believe these things? that i want to believe that we're going to go into hyperinflation, that the country
5:11 pm
could financially collapse? let me make this clear to you. i am not a pessimist. if i was a pessimist, if i believed these things and i was a pessimist, i wouldn't be living in new york city. i mean, they're going to be eating each other in this city. things collapse, it won't be pretty here. i would be living on a farm someplace far, far away from new york city. i am an optimist. let me take that back. i am a realist. we must recognize that the system we have is infested with beetles. it's got a disease. it has a cancer. why is america spending its time ridiculing somebody who says, you know what, you should really get a checkup and then maybe get some chemotherapy. why are you making fun of the term nex guy? start getting treatments. call term nex. hello, i think we're infested with beetles.
5:12 pm
because i'm a realist, i am an optimist. because i know what the disease is, and in your gut, you do, too. it's corruption, and it can be treated. it can be cured, but not if we just sit on the sidelines and going, well, what are you going to do? not if we continue to tear each other apart, not if we waste time screaming at each other. well, you're a donkey. well, you're an elephant! i'm an optimist because i know we're americans. we are the people that conquered the west. we are the people that kossed the mountains in wagon -- that crossed the mountains in wagon trains. i don't think i could do that. my father told me, and he was born in 1926, he said, son, when i was growing up, i never thought that we could ever put a man on the moon. we're the country that did it in one decade. you telling me we can't defeat corruption? no! somebody has to spell it out! the system is corrupt! and if we don't fix it, we're doomed.
5:13 pm
but we can fix it. but if we don't, we're going to go the way of the soviet union. the last arrogant big superpower and empire. for 670 years -- for 70 years they were the big sequoia, they were the ones, the soviet union, a world superpower with a military of 5 million, over 30,000 nuclear weapons. they were feared and they played a big role on the world stage. i remember the olympics when we were going after them! do you remember what happened to the soviet union? oh, yeah. it came crashing down, didn't it? it didn't take long for it to fall, either. it didn't come crashing down. it didn't collapse. they were saddled with beetles, soaring budget deficits, foreign debt. during the 1990's, it was out of control n the 1980's, who did it to them? then, the price of oil declined overnight. inflation was at 20, 25%. the rubles' international strength
5:14 pm
declined. they were embroiled in endless conflict. where? afghanistan. is any of this sounding familiar? let me show you the parallels because it didn't collapse. it happened! we were spending them into owe bliff on. -- into owe bliffian. ronald reagan was bluffing on star wars? why, to get them to start spending rubles, to spend money. he knew they could collapse from the inside on the monetary issues and then the seeds of discontent. the pope played a role? how? he got the people inside fighting each other. poland, the seeds of discontent. then, this man played a role. we were paying for this man. why? get him 'em embroiled into a war they could never win. then, the price of oil. saudi arabia. let me just change a few things here for you. ronald reagan, got bless him,
5:15 pm
is gone. let's change the exphen necessary yo from russia -- let's change the scenario from russia to us. who has got us spending all kinds of money? who has sown the seeds of discontent to where we're yelling at each other all the time where we're not allies anymore, we're not even allies or neighbors anymore. we're hating each other. who is doing that to us? i know, they'll blame it on me. really. of course they blame it on me. otherwise we got to look at what they're doing. they're sewing the seeds of discontent. we're in a war in afghanistan. i don't know if you know this, not going well. what's the plan there? and then the price of oil. gosh, what happens if all of a sudden saudi arabia says, by the way, the oil no longer paid for in dollars. this is garbage.
5:16 pm
it's worthless. we have these problems in place. yet our government is still jamming through trillion dollar healthcare plans. what? spending hundreds of billions of dollars on bank bailouts. oh, they need more money. how about some more stimulus money? they don't even flynn much at billions in the cost of a mass itch cap and trade program. one, one, that in the face of rising energy costs who in the their right mind would raise energy prices on purpose? >> under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. glenn: skyrocket. why would you do that? america, this is not about you. it is not about him. it is not about the flag.
5:17 pm
it is not about money. i know, because i hear it all the time from politicians, and i don't think -- i think they're robots. oh, it's about the children. this is about the children! this is about our children having some sort of future left! i will live without this, i don't care, but i want my children to have something in the end. it is important to note that the soviet union did not collapse. it was transformed, which is why this sound bite that i play over and over again bothers me so much. >> we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the united states of america. glenn: what does that mean in context of the soviet union? well, after all of that stuff happened, and their rubles with worthless, and oil shot up, dlee soviet leaders met in the woods.
5:18 pm
they decided the soviet system wasn't working. they knew it would e event actually implode. our leaders now know it will implode if we continue down this road. well, in the soviet union, they drafted a document and transformed the soviet model. they presented that model, that plan, to the supreme soviet counsel, who had one hour to debate. they were told, do this or it will implode. you be very aware. keep your wits about you. read history. know what you believe. know the truth. question with boldness. hold on to the truth that you find, and when you speak without fear, i think then some day, somebody is going to have a meeting and they're going to say this is going to be worthless, and the people will panic. we need a plan. oh, there will be a couple of mans, i'm sure.
5:19 pm
there will be a couple of plans, i'm sure. i wonder if it will take us farther into freedom or in their hands and their control? the people that created this mess will come to you with a plan. you will have to know, because everybody else will be freaking out, you will have to know, do you want your life and your freedom and your children's freedom in the hands of the people you don't trust with it right now? vigilance. vigilance. there is another turn on that story. nobel prize winning economist joseph stig lel lits says the financial markets should be subject to new taxes, global taxes that would discourage dysfunctional trading and help pay for the damage of the global crisis inflicted on poorer countries. gee, who caused the global problem? what's wrong with that? next.
5:20 pm
5:21 pm
5:22 pm
5:23 pm
glenn: so very true, too. it is like ice cream. i'll keep my chins up. david buckner is her columbia university, professor of business, ivy league guy. good to see you, david.
5:24 pm
you saw the opening segment. did i get it right? >> that's exactly what is happening. glenn: first of all, i feel like there have been several, but this is like a warning for anybody who is paying attention. here it come we'rdoint.they're warning us. >> but it's not subtle. they make it so complex that you think willo g away and you n't have to worry aboutts ttle peoe week an announce inittsburg ggesd theyld mve awaymolla ashe t global currency to something as f.d.r.'s and it would would become a new global currency away from dollars. that announcement was clear. there was a "wall street journal" article. everything is clear. >> who is getting screwed here? the big guys understand what is going on. who is getting screwed here? >> it is going to be the american individual, the american citizens, because what we are going to do is go over there and the government will pay off through inflation to the people. glenn: any way to protect yourself? >> invest in things friendly to
5:25 pm
inflation. >> gold? >> gold, real estate and some realm of the world, a twisted way of saying it, if you have it. you will never be able to sell it, because interest rates will go up so high that people won't be able to finance, it but your value will go up, because it's inflation driven. now, these things have been -- they're not just little warnings. they are things that they are depending upon. the government is depending upon that. >> what do you mean? >> they're depending upon it so they can pay down the debt. why are they spending so much in such a crazy fashion? inflate it and it's gone. that's all you have to do. >> there is nothing left after. that. >> there is nothing left to the consumer but the government is free from its debt. it is a very my myopic approach to reducing debt. glenn: do you understand the consequences? are you saying that the government doesn't even look at the american people as people? they will just take everything away from the them, pay down this debt and then they will be strong and whole, but we will be --
5:26 pm
>> yeah, but as you look at it, they're not long term anyway. the government is starting to tax our way out of a recession. that's not long term. that's very short term saying look, i'll take care of you, i'm take care of you and i'll take from the rich. you have shown up four or five times and discussed it. taking from the rich depletes the rich, depletes innovation, diminishes invention and nobody will -- if they're going to be penalized for that, they will no longer do it. it is a short term mission. >> a guy who is at columbia, if i'm not mistaken, still lel lits, he -- stiglits, a well respected man, isn't he? >> he is. he worked with the clinton administration but was pushed out of the world bank. there have been things back and porth focialghts. glenn: he came out and he started using almost ecology language. he said look who the great polluters are. the great polluters are these giant rich companies that have polluted the world with toxic
5:27 pm
funds and toxic dollars. >> toxic pollution. glenn: right. he said those rich countries or those countries need to be penalized through global taxes to pay and help the poor countries. if i may, take from america, and give to the poor countries. >> that's correct. when you do that within a country, it is bad enough, because it takes away from production and motivation and rewards idleness. when you do that from a country to the rest of the world, his proposition would leave america as a country desolate. glenn: we would be the disease, wouldn't we? >> we are praintsing ourselves into this corner where we have a president flying around apologizing for everything. we are a big part of the problem, because of corruption and everything else. we went over and said buy them,
5:28 pm
but they bought them just as anybody who bought a house who knew they couldn't afford t. >> they demanded it and we honored the market. glenn: they were involved as well. but everybody needs a villain, if it all falls apart. we are going to be the world's villain. >> i view it is a little differently. i view that it is not a villain. the u.s. is not corrupt. my view of this is that the corruption was a very small piece of this overall market movement. people have to have the right to sale. >> i mean corruption. there was corruption in the global corporations in financial, but also massive corruption and special interests are being played on the government's behalf. >> those specialists now have only increases. now you are going to a monopoly. the monopoly is now the government. the special interests are bearing down hoping that they will get the spoils of war. glenn: i've only got about 30 seconds. what does the average person do that doesn't have gold?
5:29 pm
what do they do? >> in effect, honestly, you sit back and you observe the fact that if you don't wake up, if you're not attentive to the fact that the world is changing underneath you, and in america, we still have the chance to change, those individuals, or the bodies that makes these decisions, you don't wake up to that. if that doesn't occur, then you are going to be subject to what occurs to you. it is a tough one. glenn: thank you very much. one of the stories that we have been following is acorn. well, the leader of acorn has been accused of embezzling a million dollars. next guest says you had your numbers wrong, way off. louisiana attorney general buddy caldwell, here, next. to other people,

acorn's embattled c.e.o. bertha lewis was addressing new gations thhe organiza's former c.f.o. may ezzl f m moreey ewan wasallyeported. in subpoena issued by louisiana democratic attorney general, it says "an acorn internal review in 2008 has determined that the amount embezzled by dale rathke, who you're looki r s $5 milon, nothe original $1 million that we have been reporting," so yes it seems that this program has got another fact wrong. we said it was a million and now it looks like it may be $5 million. lewis' response, quote "the full board decided just to make up a $5 million figure. this is speculation, completely false." well, let's hear from the attorney general. acorn, in case you're watching, please note that buddy caldwell is a democrat. hello, sir. how are you? >> good, glenn.
5:36 pm
how are you doing today? >> very good. glenn: you are a democrat. are you getting much heat for taking on acorn as a democrat, because remember, it's only supposed to be those on the right that take on acorn? >> well, i'm a 31-year prosecutor, murders, armed robberies and i have done them myself. party is not an issue with what we do. glenn: tell me about the $5 million. we have $1 million that was 'em embezzled and you're saying $5 million. how did you arrive at that number? >> originally the board of acorn asked for an audit. the audit can tell us whether it was $1 or $2 or $3.7, so that's why we're asking for the figures to determine exactly how much, and then to classify the $4.8 million to determine what percentage of that, if any, is public funds, private donations,
5:37 pm
assessments, whatever, so we can determine if there are any cases that have not proscribeed or that are still viable on the criminal level and any civil implications across the country r. glenn: do you have full records there? i know that i have heard, and i don't know if this is true. i have heard because of katrina, a lot of the records for acorn were destroyed. true or false? >> well, we don't really know. that's why we have asked for the records, and we have issued subpoenas earlier in october, and we've recently issued more subpoenas. of course we have done interviews and we have actually gained a lot of cooperation from the members of acorn. glenn: good. >> in fact, the board of acorn was not given the audit, and that's really where we started after back in 2008 when i looked at their status as a non-profit and threw that away and couldn't get back on it until recently.
5:38 pm
glenn: i don't know if you feel the same way, but it's not the people on the ground at acorn. it is like the unions, seiu, it is not the union members that are bad. it's the top. that's what you have to get to. that's what their own board tried to get to -- wait a minute, can we get an audit here because something is rotten at the top of this tree, true? >> well, yes, and that's why we went straight to the top. in fact, it was the top who got us on the matter. they wanted to clear themselves of any wrongdoing, and if nothing has been done wrong, an investigation can implicate you or clear you, and being a prosecutor, i have to have evidence, so all i want to do is see the figures. let's go through it an determine what the tiewght is. that's my job, because we got plenty of things to do. glenn: are you looking at whitney bank, the bank that apparently the money has gone through with acorn? we found this on rathke's blog. old school banks like whitney,
5:39 pm
for example, where we keep our money, require a court order before someone can crack your account. these new-school banks and they're very big, just let any joe schmo bill collector from the utility collector to whomever suck the money out of the account." i mean, i have never said that about my bank. >> well, i think that most of these banks for the non-profits serve a lot of non-profit organizations and that's the essence of what we need to closely monitor what our non-profits are doing across the country, and they all have banks. certainly i don't think it is any implication, whitney bank, as to whether or not it has done anything improper. we haven't found that. they just have agents there that we have to subpoena who handle the records. glenn: acorn runs -- i mean, it says on the building, seiu, and they're going to acorn international. they got 300 and some different organizations connected to cci,
5:40 pm
which is the clearinghouse, right? >> that's the financial arm, and that's why we have issued the subpoenas to the whitney bank in new orleans, because that's where they had their money. we start with the money. glenn: ok. that includes, though, the 300 some organizations, including seiu. are you going to be looking into these other groups? are you looking at all of the records for everyone or just acorn? >> well, we're looking at where the information leads us, and we're serving as a clearinghouse for federal and state agencies across the country r the reason we are getting involved is because acorn's hub has been here in new orleans, and that's where the organization started, but we are having the function of serving as a clearinghouse for federal and state agencies all across the country so if we get something, we're cooperating and collaborating with these other agencies both to clear and
5:41 pm
implicate wherever the facts take us. glenn: sure. honest questioning. that's no big deal. do you believe -- probably not a good -- i don't know if it is a question you can answer. i'm tieing to think how i can phrase this. do you believe you are looking at anything that appears to be criminal here? >> well, i have said where there's smoke, there's fire, so we won't know until we have looked at the embezzlement to see if that is still viable, and we have to classify the funds. if they're public funds or if private people who gave contributions attached contingencies or conditions to their money, then we still may be able to prosecute for what we know have been thefts that have been committed for criminal things. at the same time, there may be reimbursements due. the i.r.s., for example, they would look into the failure to
5:42 pm
file tax returns, so we have withholding issues in louisiana and maybe other states as well, and we're working with a lot of other agencies who may have an impact by this pyramid group that we have that are possibly involved. or maybe not involved. glenn: how involveed is bobby jindal in this? >> well, the governor is interested in making sure that the state of louisiana is taken care of, and certainly we share that with him. we want to do what's best for the state. it doesn't matter whether it's the governor or the secretary of state who investigates incidentally voter fraud kind of cases, so we cooperate on those things. if we end up finding that kind of thing, but we're interested in the financial things to start, because it's less expensive. our organization is not real,

real big. we need the governor's cooperation to help fund what we do, and in that sense, it's important to keep him involved as we can. glenn: good. sir, i appreciate your time. thank you very much. we'll follow the case. we wish you luck. >> my pleasure. quality and reliability...

glenn: well, the f.c.c. is staging a crackdown on deceptive advertising practices on global media platforms such as facebook and twitter. we got to crack down on those guys, huh? advertise something exploding and according to the government, they are so deceptive in their advertising practices that the government is here to protect us. even some bloggers will be held liable for false statements that they make about products. gee, i wonder if i'm a product? if you're actually spending our hard earned money on some product because a blogger told you to, you got problems. oh, but glenn, fred blog at net dot dot com said it would make the perfect pancake, and look, it doesn't.
5:52 pm
shady advertisers or sham artists should be held accountable, we already have laws for that but the last thing we need is our country working overtime to save us from stupid people buying the perfect pancake maker. doesn't the government have something else to do? there's this country called, oh, yeah, afghanistan. last time i looked, the government doesn't seem too concerned with deceptive advertising, president obama staged an event -- no, wait, i don't want to be deceptive, because it was totally gas roots. there was no astro astroturf here. it was totally impromptu. the doctors came to the white house, you know, the people that are so money hungry that they are pulling tonsils out for cash, because the government would stop deception if it was happening. in case you're too dumb to understand the word "doctor," the president handed out white

lab coats for the doctors, because that, i guess makes them more credible, you know. if you're a doctor of any cal caliber, you you are you kind of insulted by this? it insults me just looking at the doctors standing there in white lab coats like we couldn't figure out what is going on. hey, government! why don't you heal yourself, first? i think it is you who are vick on deceptive add advertising. i remember seeing something about the n.e.a. last night on some t.v. show. before you focus on us, clean up your own mess. hang on. you know, if i said that with a different coat, i think you might actually -- hang on just a be second. this is going to be so great! you know, if i said it and i had some books and stuff around me, i think you would be so stupid that you would believe that i am much smarter than i am. ha ha ha ha. so, let us now, focus on someone, maybe named adoll fuss

downs, you know him, don't you? the chairman of the house oversight committee on government reform. government reform. that's rich, and for all you idiots out there, that means he is in charge of important things like deciding whether or not to subpoena countrywide, you know, or those v.i.p. loan records. well, downs, he has got these two sweetheart v.i.p. mortgages, you know, not one, but he's got two of them at countrywide. can you guess if he picks them to get the subpoena? he didn't find the subpoena necessary, and listen, america, neither do i, and i have a pipe. oh, sure, i know that sounds a little shady to you people, but, oh, don't worry, downs says his staff has reviewed the v.i.p. program, and he didn't find any evidence of special favors to the government, so, nothing to see here, peons.
5:55 pm
just move on with your lives. gosh, don't you feel better now? i mean, the government oversight and regulation, they're going to tell us what we can and can't do, and they are never going to be able to get with anything. that's great. and it's not insulting. i don't feel like they're talking down to me at all. do you? no. we should listen to the guys in the white coats about healthcare, and i'm wearing a tweed jacket with patches on the elbows an smoking a pipe and the books make a man smarter, you know. imagine how wonderful the government regulation would be on a global scale. now wait a minute. that's an idea. did you know that the g20 in pittsburgh, i mean, you know, other than the riffraff throwing rocks through windows, yes, president obama, according to the financial times has committed america now to a collective economic leadership

and systematic pier review. that sounds egg headish. i love it already. the article says "we've passed the baton. we used for call the important shots." that's a quote. "but now america submits to the collective will of the g20." hmm. a lightbulb? is it, really? if i told you while i was wearing a tweed jacket and reading a book, well, then, my gosh, it would have to be the smart thing to do. we'll be right back, peons! jolly, that's wonderful. quality and reliability...
