2:00 am
is your last call. loits are blinking. thanks for being with us tonight. we'll see you again tomorrow, tonight, i have one question for you: how secure is your freedom, the freedom of your children? i want you to remember this one quote from benjamin franklin, those who give up essential liberty to purchase temporary safety deserve neither liberty or safety. keep that quote this mind and remember at the end of the hour, how secure is the freedom for my children? >> hello america. i want you to know i am an optimistic guy. i said that over the weekend
2:01 am
when we were out and i have great faith if what's coming because i know the american people. you are wide awake but on days like today, i need a bucket of zoloft. the budget is staggering. wait until the bottom of the hour, you will not believe the games they are playing. it is $3.8 trillion. the deficit will shoot up to a record $1.6 trillion in the budget year. now, if this were your budget, you would jump out a window. the bankers will look for the nearest window to they loan you money. not good news. the sliewghtses are -- the solutions are more depressing because they are proven failures. the president said we're going to double the exports and pass
2:02 am
$100 billion third stimulus package. sorry, no. we have done two stimulus packages and this would be a jobs bill. i don't know why i didn't think to wave the wand and summon the jobs fairy but we were working on other things, experiencing the result of the first and second stimulus package. how is it working america? anyone can see we don't have anything to export now. if we could export, if the world were beating a path to our door we would export. what do we have that everyone wants from america, that they can afford? with unions and red tape it costs too much to make anything here in america. then the justice department wants to investigates the college football play off system. you got to be kidding me. we are looking currently for a new place to try the harry bat
2:03 am
guy and our administration is going after college football? i could care less if it fell into a giant sinkhole. this is what you are planning on doing? there are not enough drugs on earth to make me feel happy today. the real state of the union is not looking good. i will tell you again, the g.d.p. is coming up. things are looking great. watch in the next few weeks what we will show you especially tomorrow. on some of the games being played. don't be fooled by this. if i'm wrong, there's no harm, no foul, if you are prepared. my grandfather used to say "prepare for the worst, hope for the best." that's all i'm asking. and yesterday in the headlines, a company in switzerland on the verge of collapse.
2:04 am
why? our government has decided they want to go on a fishing expedition with no evidence of wrongdoing. it is my understanding no evidence of wrongdoing. to that changes, this story changes. nod of wrongdoing, they have demanded the bank to hand over the account information of thoroughly 4,500 clients in the united states. they want to hand that information to the tax authorities. i'm pretty sure that switzerland makes its money because they don't happened over that kind of information. what happens to the swiss banks if they start doing that? what happens to their business? the justice minister said if ubs loses the license in the united states, the swiss economy and jobs would suffer on a major scale. so now we can hack off the people with the cocoa. we are isolating ourselves and
2:05 am
driving business away. then over the weekend, ahmadinejad said iran will deliver a blow to the global arrogance on february 11th. he is always threatening things but he is not a clown. he is actually a guy that is spooky. not everyone in iran believes this but this guy does, they are so dangerous that the ayatollah banned 12ers during the revolution 30 years ago. if you look up their theory of twelvers, compared to jesus coming back, it is opposite sides. spooky. are we ready to handle it in the bush administration let this one go. what happens if he is not
2:06 am
bluffing? is the obama administration ready? we were duped by a guy wearing underpants with a bomb this his underpants and the president thinks he has something that will overwhelm dick -- dictators like president ahmadinejad but i am not brimming with confidence and if the middle east thinks, we are this deep trouble. watch this picture. here is the president of the united states now bowing to a mayor. this is a mayor from tampa bay, florida. i'm not real confident. can we stop with the bowing to everyone. everything in this country is up in the air. our budget. our security. you know the sound bite i played over and over and over again. this is the critical part. you can look at the problems but we have always had a sense we were on the right track even when the carter administration
2:07 am
or bush administration, which ever you hated you knew we would make it but there are bigger problems now because of debt and this statement from the president. the fundamental transformation of america. a way to fundamentally transform the united states of america. >> i'm not sure what that means. do you know? this is not a trick question. can you explain "the fundamentals of transformation." there are a couple of different ways to take it, it could be a wonderful transformation, away from lies. maybe he means he will give america an extreme makeover, going for maximum freedom. or he thinks the old american system doesn't work and he wants to try something new, a government that will speak in
2:08 am
universal health care. did you hear what nancy pelosi said over the weekend? the gated close, we go over the gates, we go over the fence if the fence is too high, but we will get health care reform passed for the american people. for their own personal health and economic security. she knows better than the american people because who is building the fence. the american people. they decided they will possibly use side-car legislation, i'm sure this is what the founders had in mind. i told you for months "do not allow anything to pass from this congress or this administration." they are building something. i don't know what they're building but they are putting pieces of whatever it is they're building in all of these bills and we don't know it. again, we see it coming through. here they go. it doesn't work in one bill so
2:09 am
they will break it up. health care, they break that bill up and pass it this different bills. i don't know what "fundamental transformation is," and what the president is shooting for, since the president said in the past the constitution is "fundamentally flawed," since this president is surrounding himself with radicals. some socialists. one a communist. is it reasonable to ponder, what kind of transformation is he shooting for? i have pondered that question. i don't have an answer. if you want to use emergencies, if you are a radical, and you want to take control of a country because it was the "right thing to do," in an
2:10 am
emergency situation what would you need control of? how would you do it? how could you make sure you could lock everything down and control it and transform it? this is the list i have come up. manufacturing and industry. financial. media communication. the military. energy. education. got it? education is more long term. this is crazy talk. to be talking about command and control. but we have to,+ think out of e box here. if i asked how fragile was your freedom, if i asked you that question on september 10, 2001, you would have laughed for having and said, no, no, we are fine. we are great. what if i ask you that on september 11 or september 12th? let me ask you today: how fragile is our country, system
2:11 am
and freedoms? are we more free? or less free? how secure and strong is the republic? if you have listened to me for five years you heard me explain a near i have had, called "the perfect storm," theory, a theory , and i hope i am wrong, but it is coming more and more accurate, we will be overwhelmed with financial debt, security, energy, political problems, and there would come a time where someone would say "now." and there would be a blow. one emergency or crisis that would change the world as we knew it putting our most sacred freedoms to the test. it would test those people who would use a crisis to take the freedoms away. i don't think we will have a dictator and i hope to god we
2:12 am
don't. i'll concerned, because of what i know of history, so, let me go through key areas. if you want command and control, and you needed to control it, you need to do manufacturing including g.m. and chrysler. gobble up what you can. then you control labor. if you control labor you control industry. guess would controls labor? unions. they have more power than the average american. the number one visitor in the white house is the president of a union. whose concerns are addressed first? his or years? let me let president obama answer that. >> you will know who is on your side. i've been at this a long time. i spent my entire adult life working with sbiu. i'm not a newcomer. energy. that is next.
2:13 am
global warming rates dead last among the issues of the day with the american people. but cap and trade is in the new budget. wait until i show you the gains. the president is putting phantom profits into the budget from an energy policy that we are nowhere near close to passing. what does he know that i don't know? i don't want to hurt mother earth. i don't think you do. they will force us to go "green." how? cap and trade. >> under my plan of a cap and trade system electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. >> what will that do to our financial system? and now look at the banks. many did not want the bailout. they were forced to take them. the bailouts of the banks and the auto industry, tarp, wall street, stimulus, the government holds a gun to people moves
2:14 am
heads in the financial industry and demanding reform that europe won't do. "reform," is a way to say "government control," capping salaries. windfall profits tax. deciding which investmentments are risky. obama says he does this reluctantly but he has and will use big government in hard times. and how about media? freedom of speech? and the internet? who doesn't get the thrill when listening to the president and that is harshly declared a news network. and the s.e.c. tells someone to step down. president obama tried to intimidate tv pundits as an enemy of reform in the state of the union address. look what they are trying to do to the internet -- grab power. education. nationalizing the student loan industry. that is part of this. and education. education is longer term.
2:15 am
this means from cradle to grave the state has a grip on the educational system already loaded with progressive revisionist history. the obama administration indoctrination, organizing tore america, wait until you see what is handed out to the kids, it is unbelievable. if you don't like what the public school is teaching, do not argue for school vouchers because the teachers have to compete! they are shutting them down. in normal times it would be outrageous to think anyone would want to transform us into anything but a better, freer society as our constitution dictates. the world is changing before our eyes. and moving under our feet. the changes, this grab of power, has not been happening just in this presidency. where were the people lined up
2:16 am
on the left who were screaming about the patriot act? you were worried about bush as was i. i joined you the last four years of the presidency. grabbing power. abusing it. gathering too be strength. you were right. now where are you? the reason you were right is not because of republican was in power. and the reason why i'm concerned is not because it's a democrat in power it is the word "power." if you can say it could never happen in america, remember the radicals the president placed around himself and the things those radicals have said. we are trying to persuade and if that does not work we use the persuasion of power. >> we will change the system. we will not put a battery in a broken system. we want a new system. >> we agree with mao power comes
2:17 am
from the gun. we took names. we watched how they voted. we know where they live. >> these people are advising our president. unthinkable. unthinkable that someone in a time of crisis someone could approach the president and say what the journalist that was revered, and what he said to f.d.r. in 1933 "the situation is critical, franklin, you may have no alternative but to assume dictator power." f.d.r. did not turn into a dictator. but americans knew how close they were by the end of the administration to getting one. i found an old book the other day from 1935. "hell bent for election." written by a former economic adviser to f.d.r.
2:18 am
he said, the author, said this, carrying out the rolls where it marry -- carried out the promises where it matters least and brought hasty reform of the banking and investment system and the rob is by no means solved and requires careful study in order that the much needed real reform could some day be accomplished. on the negative side he failed to reduce the cost of the federal government, to balance the budget, to maintain a sound currency, to take the government out of business or maintain the fundamental principle of the american order. he has led us into an orgy of wild spending undreamed of in prior administrations, piling up commission on commission and bureau on bureau and tried to set up a federal dictatorship over the various factors that
2:19 am
affect the lives of our citizens. he has flouted the constitution and made a laughingstock of the national promise in the name of an "emergency." which was an advisor of f.d.r. and two years later congress passed the 22nd amendment to limit the president to two terms. americans could sense we were headed toward a dictatorship. do you sense that today? i hope you don't. i'm not asking you to go down that road but asking you to do this: how secure is your freedom today. lech walesa who freed the polish people, said a couple of days ago the days of america as the moral leader are over.
2:20 am
ronald reagan said if we fail, where does the rest of the world run? we cannot fail. we must pay attention and be involved. i leave you with this: the july before the declaration was designed, 1775, john adams was away from his wife and he wrote these words: "the constitution of government once changed from freedom can never be restored. liberty once lost is lost forever." according to the epa, the air in your home can be two to five times more polluted than the air outside. smoke, germs, viruses, allergens, pet dander, even smelly and potentially harmful voc compounds can actually be floating in the air you're breathing! but now you can clean that air with the incredible

2:23 am
2:24 am
>> i showed you the necessary ingredients for taking away freedom and a key is education. ridiculous. education is not controlled by the progressive agenda or the administration. well, tell me about this. obama, true, organizing for america had announced new internships at high schools. they are now recruiting our high school students to "build on the movement that elected president obama by empowering students to help us bring about our agenda." well, i make this clear, you can intern for anyone you want. you can be a fox news intern for me all summer. some may call that cruel and unusual punishment. you want to intern or have your kids intern, i don't care. but here's the problem. during the first, this is the actual form your kids are handed, during the first week, national intern organizer
2:25 am
curriculum, suggested readings: "rules for radicals," in the first week. now if you want your kid reading this book you are progressive, a marxist or you don't know what is it in, things like "the ends justify the means." really? i didn't learn that from my president, any other president. this is the second step in the indoctrination. first you get the kids in t-shirt and then read saul's book. or "the new organizers," a fellow at the radical left wing george soros open society institute. do you think that is okay? this guy brought us the new kind of politics that obama is high about, during the campaign, let's just be good to each
2:26 am
other. the guy who wrote the second book is the one who came up with the antibush slogan "just say no to a former cocaine abuser." well, that doesn't sound like what obama says he is for or what i want my kids to learn. the third book is "stir it up," from the leftist activist. i love all that work. if my kid is going in to be an intern for campaign and it teaches them of civics, duty, honor, standing up for things that are principle, learn more of our country and the founding, that is great. but if you teach my kid that the ends justify the means and tearing people apart without evidence or substance, is something they did this their past, if you think that is okay, just smear them to get elected, as long as you win, i don't think america should be okay with that.
2:27 am
here is the issue: how come this administration dismisses people like saul, they dismiss the radical 19630's influence, including the man who did not apologize for bombing the pentagon. how about a marxist passed off in the media, a year ago or year and a half ago. no one pays attention. since then we fine out that obama loves him for schools and chris matthews just said this . >> a hero from the past of the 1960's. >> a hero from the 1960's. and obama organizing for america, for your kids. and it is not just if you want to be an intern, but the nea has
2:28 am
a new recommended reading on the website "rules for radicals." the average american, are they with saul, "the ends just the means." should the average american blow this off as unrelated coincidence that the government is training radicals instead of educating children? the original idea for public schools was to train people to be americans, bring us all together and teach our ideals. the ends just the means? is this an american ideal? is this being taught this this video? do you think we citizens pledging allegiance to the republic?
2:29 am
how about in this video? (inaudible) >> our children are not being trained to be responsible citizens but campaign workers for a political icon and ideology. during the campaign obama camp had kids for obama parades. the public school teachers more than once were caught indoctrinating children into the obama cult. do you remember this, caught on tape, by a european documentary filmmaker. zuda
2:30 am
(inaudible) >> you have to keep your disad in iraq for -- your dad in iraq for 100 years -- from a teacher? that is unacceptable in america. our country demands the founders be taught, we need to start standing up and say original sources. the radical left will find out when they are smoking dope this college, can we leave our kids alone? president obama found his marxist professors in the classes in college. back off our children. shall we, mr.~president?t the t.
2:31 am
2:32 am
2:33 am
2:34 am
2:35 am
>> the great -- this means passing a comprehensive energy bill with incentives to make clean energy profitable kind of energy in america. i'm grateful to the house for passing such a bill last year.
2:36 am
and this year i am eager to help advance the bipartisan effort in the senate. that is the president from the state of the union. bipartisan cap and trade. i thought that was as dead as a cartoon polar bear in al gore movie but the washington examiner reports that the president now is writing the budget assuming that we will have the $650 billion over the next decade from cap and trade. so we are counting our chickens before they hatch and from a mother that hasn't been born yet. what do they know that we don't know? how do you develop a budget on things that you don't have? back room activity is not new to the process. and reviewing all of the science, the schemes are based on from the u.n. climate arm.
2:37 am
ready for this? we told you about how the claims of melting glaciers were based on peer reviewed science. but in an off the cuff comment with a magazine interview this is undone. the head of the ipcc, and i can't say his name, was asked about the glacier mistake on january 22 of this year. he admitted the "error," and said "i became aware of this when it was recorded in the media ten days ago." facts are sticky because the problem is, he was actually told about it months ago in november. by a reporter. at the journal of science. but, november. that's when climate gate was heating up. surely they didn't need another scandal right before the opening
2:38 am
of copenhagen. did they hide the information from you until copenhagen was over? the head of the ipcc says "absolutely not." but is it possible they were suddenly tipping their hand? remember the timing here, the ipcc knew of the bad sourcing in november but did not say anything. and now an article from the new york times quoting the ipcc on november 26 of climate gate "we rely entirely on peer reviewed literature in carrying out the assessment." that was from "new york times" and on the website but on their website, the ipcc web state, a statement dated eight days after "new york times" reports on that with a word change "the ipcc relies mainly on peer reviewed literature this carrying out an
2:39 am
assessment." so not entirely on their website and now just mainly. that is big. 418-word statement and only one word is different. al gore states his entire case on "peer review." i asked, what do they know that you and i don't know? fast forward to this week. the u.k. telegraph reports on two more newly discovered sourcing stories claiming of melting ice in the alps and africa, not from peer review. they came not from the peer reviewed scientific literature but from this, "climbing magazine." the equivalent of "runners world," for mountain climbing. that is the better of the sources. the other source was, and i kid you not, a student dissertation written while studying for a degree in geography.
2:40 am
well you would think the ipcc head would step down but no, he is releasing a new book. not like the "dynamic of electric energy supply and demand," a romance novel! about a climate expert who runs around saving the planet and sleeping with "shapey dark-skinned girls," written as he traveled between the ipcc meetings, he says. i am not kidding. trillions of dollars of policy are being based on the equivalent of a tennis magazine, a geography student and a scientist pretending to be, i don't know and they expect to get away with it. what we started with, again, the president currently has money in this new budget reporting as income in the new federal
2:41 am
budget, based on cap and trade which we don't have yet. i ask one more time, how secure is your freedom today? what exactly do they know that you and i don't know?
2:42 am
2:43 am
2:44 am
>> if you are not as old as me and did not live through the 1980's, a history lesson on lech walesa, the leader of poland's first independent trade union during the soviet occupation and founded "solidarity." standing against soviet oppression at a time it could be fatal. he was elected the president in 1990. he knows a little something about communist oppression. and he knows who it was standing there fighting for freedom against the iron fist of
2:45 am
socialism -- the united states of america. here is audio of lech walesa giving a speech here through an interpreter in the united states. >> the united states is the only one superpower. today they lead the world. nobody has doubts about that. militarily. they lead economically. but they don't lead morally anymore. the world has no leadership. the united states was always the last ... when something was wrong one could count on the
2:46 am
united states. today we lost that hope. >> it is painful to hear that from this man. sometimes the truth hurts but the truth is what we need to hear. he was asked in the interview with a republican gubernatorial candidate in illinois if he felt the united states was moving toward socialism. a little bit like the issue with the banks. this is an indication that it is in that direction, privatizing the entrepreneurs. they are more fragile. >> he says we are moving a little bit and mentioned the tarp bailout as an example, a failed example. and a special inspector general of the tarp program says policymakers have not addressed the fundamental problems that triggers the crisis saying "it
2:47 am
is hard to see how the fundamental problems of the system have been addressed." he added that "the substantial cost of tarp will have been for nothing if we do nothing to correct the fundamental problems." in our financial system, it could end in a similar or greater crisis in two, five or 10 years. he warned in the report that in his view little changed to head off another financial crisis. "to the extent that huge interconnected too big to fail institutions contributed to the crisis those institutions are now larger in part because of the substantial subsidies provided by tarp and other bailout programs." he also said "the mentality of the institutions to take reckless risks through a heads i win, tails the government will bail me out is more prevalent." sounds like he thinks the tarp bailout has failed. yet not only did we do a second

package called a "stimulus," but now about to embark on a third stimulus package.
2:49 am
2:50 am
2:51 am
>> polish president and anticommunist leader electric look said america is no longer the last hope of earth. we are moving a little toward socialism. it is a sad truth but look what is going on: a new jobs program which the stimulus program. you can call it a ten minute miracle for the economy's ab program but it will not work because we cannot spend our way out of debt.
2:52 am
and let the free enterprise lead the way. but they won't in washington. too many in this administration and in congress on both sides of the aisle don't believe in free mark. people like ron bloom in the administration. we know theg nonsense. the whole point is to "game" the system. to bet the market. or fine someone who will pay you a lot of money. we know this is about power. it is an adult's only no limit game. this administration has abandoned capital im. the system that brought us the greatest prosperity the world has known. did greed play a role? you bet. obama and his people want to blame every problem on the free market system but will not give any of the kudos to the great things. they will not blame the government for the intervention
2:53 am
or the role congress played in enabling government-sponsored entities to spiral out-of-control. a budget expert at the brookings institute told the wall street journal "the spending freeze is only going to affect a small lies of the budget -- slice of the budget. the pay-go rules will not affect the red ink and the commission will be a paper tiger and the proposals will leave us with unsustainable deficits as far as the eye can see. who has been talking about that? i remember -- you have. lech walesa was partly right. which part? you have to ask yourself. we have moved toward socialism, just a little? you ask and answer those questions. and answer this one: how secure is your freedom today?
2:54 am

>> do you lie awake at night and think you just you had a juggler on hand to explain the role of government interference in our lives? or just a big pile of money to make sense of foreign debt? lucky day for you. look no further. just record this show. or dvr each day at 5:00 p.m. eastern. i'm there for you, baby. i made the audience throw up just a little bit. nothing like a little me after hours. midnight snack? and a side of me. >> they took away my m and mx's and replaced them with grapes.
2:58 am
>> i am grossing america out. join us each day, dvr or record 5:00 eastern. bill and i went out on the first leg of the bold and fresh tour, in movie theaters nationwide on saturday. if you did not see us in person, here is a little bit of what people got to see. nancy pelosi i swear, does anyone else think she looks like "skeleton." just me, do i remember her more fondly or she had massive plastic surgery lately? when she blinks it is so stretched that i feel like it must hurt when she blinks.
2:59 am
ouch. ouch. ouch. ouch. ouch. >> that was a more serious moment. you still have one more chance to see it in a movie theater near you, tomorrow night and then we are headed to los angeles next weekend. no better way to spend valentine's day or the weekend, the thit before valentine's day with me and bill. you will look really, really sexy by the time you get out. your wife -- you may walk in with your wife and she is like, really? you? valentine's day? but we do all the work. we gross her out, she looks at you and she knows you are a catch. traveling two days with bill o'reilly, i learned a lot about
