for a while now and it's becoming more and more apparent to everyone food prices are rising around the globe. and they are beginning to hit here at home. this is going to be a real problem for those who are not prepared, especially those who are living the closest to the edge. people will be looking for answers. people will be looking for anybody to do something. anything. and then there will be the hunter. remember that word. "the hunter." the people who will be looking for power. they will have an answer to a problem that most likely they, themselves, created. it won't be a new answer. tonight, in the next 60 minutes, you will understand the answers that could be coming will be some of the oldest answers in the book. ♪ ♪

i want to start in an unusual place. we will start and end the program here. believe me, this is worth the ending. show you this building. this is where we start and end. this is the e.u. parliamentary building. i don't know if you have seen it. striking. dramatic the way it looks. the symbol of one united europe. one language. one europe. this is what george soros calls it. >> the european union was built by a process of piece mill social engineering. indeed, it's probably the most success fful feat of social engineering in history. >> glenn: papara is george

soros' hero, a guy you should look up. where we're headed. what does he call it? the greatest feat in social engineering. it may be. how is it working in out spain? they sport the highest rate of unemployment at 20.5%. by the way, that's the country that led the way on the green jobs. debt is 63% of gdp. next door, portugal, 11% unemployment. their debt is 76% of gdp. greece, just when you thought it couldn't get worse for them, it did. their debt hit a staggering 120% of gdp. they have 12.2 unemployment. now the spill over to ireland. unemployment at 14%. the debt is 65% of gdp. the e.u. spearheaded by germany is urging ireland to

take the bail-out. why? well, to calm the global markets. we're all tied together now. europe, especially so. they are all tied together. what happens to one spreads to the others. it's dominoes. portugal is spooked, spain is spooked. they can't withstand ireland causing the shock to the system with bad news because they will topple. we talk about it on the program before. a year ago i talked about the dominoes falling. do you remember? we were talking about greece. greece was telling -- germany was telling greece the same thing that greece was telling ireland. didn't work for greece. they're still rioting in the street and the situation is getting worse and worse. why are they doing it? let me alert the soros bloggers out there on this one. yeah, you ready?

here is why they're doing and pushing everyone in to it. they're building a new world order. here is why it will fail. ready? they're aiming for an affront to god. ahhh! how can glenn beck say it's an affront to god? i can tell you with 100% total assurety. why? even when it's good intentions, we know what happens when big government gets control of the people. what? yeah. the oldest story in the book. history that will boggle your mind. ireland doesn't have the money. they're only good for part of 2011. why wait? because they know what happened when they ask for help. they don't want to take the help.

why? they lose their uniqueness, they lose their sovereignty. they are afraid of being gobbled up. ireland will no longer be ireland anymore. they'll have to do exactly what the e.u. says. they're on the hook. we are on the verge of doing the same thing they did years ago. it's not going to take us as long to reach their point of no return. will we reach the point of ireland or greece? yeah, we will. how do i know? remember the $600 billion bailout? here it is from the "wall street journal." bucking the federal reserve effort to push interest rates lower, investors are selling off u.s. government debt, driving rates in many cases to the highest levels in more than three months. in other words, you know that whole print the money thing that they said is going to keep the interest rates or the yield so people will be able to buy it. yeah, yeah -- highest level in three months.

uh-oh! it means the exact opposite of what the fed told us would happen is happening. should you be surprised that the central power failed to control something? of course. people are not cats. to be rounded up. it's a trend all through history. show that building again. do you know the idea behind this building? europe has not always been one big happy family. they'll make it one big happy family. the idea was to join together. focus their power centrally and become a world super power. then they abandon the currency in favor of one currency and they officially tied each other together. as nations. you are seeing this in ireland. they're pressured in to doing what is best for the e.u. first. worry about your country afterwards. when greece falls, they fall. ireland falls, they all fall.

it's what we talked about on this program before. mutually assured economic destruction. do you remember this? there is "mad." add eein there. mutually i sured economic destruction. you're probably the only audience in america that has heard of the theory. is it what is happening to the world. the whole world is being pushed to a global model of government. george soros, we told you, we showed you the strings. the strings that he is pulling are amazing. is it a coincidence that the e.u. and really -- i mean that's where we're going. he is a big fat -- really? global government. that's everybody's answer, it seems today. our founders would say smaller government. everyone who has power now is saying bigger. tonight i want to spend some time on global government. one big government. one language.

people like george soros talk about global government like it's a new idea. pauper has a new great idea. really? no, it's one of the oldest ideas known to man. have you ever heard of the tower of babble? this is fascinating. buckle up, gang. here we go. it has effected each and every one of our lives and our culture. without us really even knowing, your kids start babbling. comes from this story. has anybody called -- do you remember when we were kids. "you're an nimrod." even bugs bunny called elmer fudd an nimrod. why? because he was a hunter. how does bugs bunny calling someone an nimrod because they're a hunter tie in to the tower of babel? it's all there. everything.

this is not just a history book, bible is to teach us lessons. so we don't forget them. most important lesson of all of man. you see the pattern. always the same pattern. what is the pattern we're supposed to look for? in the book of genesis. after the great flood, everybody on earth was getting together and then all of a sudden, somebody had a different idea. hey, how about we all speak one language and we'll build a tower to reach the sky. god wasn't happy about it and he confused the language and they all scattered. that is probably your understanding of the tower of babel. i've read the story many times and i never understood it until i talked to friend of mine. you can read it a million times and never fully understand it, unless you have a rabbi and read it in ancient he brew. i can't read hebrew and i

tower? >> the important thing is what you said a few moments ago. this is the first time of history where people consider themselves educated but they're biblically illiterate. >> historically illiterate. >> but imagine people who are the heirs of western civilization not knowing the foundation of western civilization. people are on television all over the place and don't know how many books are in the five books of moses. talking about remarkable effect. people dismissed the bible as some obsolete collection of legends about long forgotten nation. >> glenn: let's say, i don't know, michael moore is watching. say michael is out there and he has cheetos all over himself and he's like, "it's a legend!" look at the legend itself. i don't believe it's a legend.

what is it teaching? a great king says let's build a tower. what is wrong with that? >> he didn't say -- according to chapter 11 in genesis and the nine verses reveal the dark secret that lies at the deepest recesses of the human soul, our susceptibility to become slaves. it's there. it's ready. it can transform us to serfs. sure enough, the nine verses in chapter 11 in genesis, the king nimrod doesn't say let's build a tower. he starts off with an announcement, hey, everybody, let's build bricks. then he says let's build a city and tower. ordinarily people would say build a city and tower. shining city on the hill, says john winthrop. people say how are you going to do it? we'll make bricks. no here, the key thing is let's make bricks. he's not identified necessarily or early as a

king, in chapter 10. eight through ten. the key thing about that, everybody was hunting. today it's just the good guys hunt. but everybody hunted then. that's how you ate. why on earth would nimrod be identified? everybody hunted. because he hunted people. he seduced people to be the suggest and allow them to become the master. >> glenn: so he said nimrod, a great hunter of man, says let's build bricks. then let's build a city. why did he say let's build bricks first? what do they represent? >> they're important. in the five books of moses, wisdom highlights that that an altar to god must not be built of bricks. it has to be built with stones. why? the tension between the bricks and stops is crucial. bricks and stones are a

biblical metaphor for the way people should be stones, and the way we are easily pulled to be bricks. >> glenn: i live in connecticut. stonewalls are beautiful, because everything is different. it takes an artist to put them together. you're saying that the stones are representative of people. >> more differences between brick and stone. number one, brick is the same as every other brick. that's the point. totally interchangeable. if you want to turn people to bricks you can turn them to clogs that can be plugged around society. the second thing about bricks is they're made by man. stones are each unique. when we have a tradition in western civilization that man is created the image of god, what it means that just as god is unique, so is every single human being is unique, just like a stone. don't allow other people to turn you in n to bricks.

>> glenn: it's a difference between yes, i can, and yes, we can. nimrod is a guy and he says i'm going to build bricks. was it, was it a real religious society? this is after the great flood. everybody is wiped off. everybody is scattered and have they own language. >> mr. different languages. >> they're worshipping god. nimrod had a new idea, right? tell me about the new idea. >> the new idea, and presented as the babel blueprint. this is not long forgotten story, it's as relevant today, as tomorrow when they were conducting the french revolution. the principle is the same. the two competing ways of organizing human society. one is the abraham vision of

individual independence, individual accountability. god-centric. versus the idea of centralized control. >> glenn: it can be really -- even our founders, thomas paine and thomas jefferson were misled by this. they thought the french revolution was good. it's a subtle difference if you don't know what you're looking for, right? >> very important. right. >> glenn: thomas paine ended up in prison. right. >> so abraham gives the vision of individual impendence, which always has to include economic impendence. that's crucial. abraham, first man in the bible described as a wealthy man. blessing, good thing. not a curse. a good thing. >> glenn: so when we come back, the bricks and the mort mortar. america, when you find out what the mortar means in

nimrod says let's build bricks. then we'll build the tower. but the bricks, the bricks represent people. taking people and making them all uniform and exactly the same, right? >> yes. >> glenn: in that part, he says we'll use bricks and mortar, right? what is the mortar? bricks and mortar. why is the mortar part important? >> well, so this bible blueprint is a depiction for all time of how the world really works. >> glenn: okay. >> one of the way it really works in every epoch there is always somebody who tries to seize power. what the 11 verses, the nine verses in chapter 11 tell us is here are the things you have to watch out for. here are the things that a potential tyrant is going to do in order to seduce you. number one, he is going to have a tower. now a tower means reaching for the skies.

appealing to everything that is great in human nature. now, look, any leader, what you're tacking care of your family, running a business, whether you're a military leader. military recruiters don't say hey, come join us. the food is horrible. you're liking to get killed and you're going to be a horribly hot -- they don't do that. step forward and play a role to defend your country be. all you could be. you appeal to the highest in human nature. that's what tyrants learn to do as well. >> glenn: he erased religion and said god is not important. >> making a war on heaven. >> glenn: making a war on heaven and we're building a tower to reach heaven. >> we don't need gods. we don't need stones. we don't need anything that god created. you are great, people are great. this will be built with bricks and we'll make you interchangeable. that's why tyrants will do that. >> glenn: the mortar that holds the bricks together. >> hebrew, mortar is

realitied to the word materialism. you can even hear the similarity transfer to the english language. mortar, "m," "t," "r" the key consonants. material, matter, same word essentially. it's very important because the lesson from ancient jewish wisdom here is you can bond people and unify people with a sense of common spiritual purpose, but if you eliminate spiritual and take god entirely out of the picture, then you can unify people through materialism. get people in debt, use your credit cards, folks. buy stuff. acquire stuff. then you can rent storage facilities to keep the stuff you bought you don't need. but that way, we're all in this together and talk about the great commercials we saw during the football game. and we're all in this great materialistic splurge because it will unite people. >> glenn: america, think about this. what he is saying is king made everybody into bricks so

they're all exactly the same. everyone is equal. everyone is equal. then the mortar that holds it together is the stuff, the material. not their common experiences of spiritualist, or even history. think about this. what holteds us together as a nation. two years ago, did you know a lot of our own history? how many americans can't tell you the signers or anything about the american revolution, can't tell you about frederick douglas. can't tell you anything about our history? but we all know nike. we all know the mercedes benz logo. we know everything about materialism. think about what you're headed for. if you take our materialism, our stuff, our wealth, our tvs, our phones, if you take that away, what holds our bricks together?

>> exactly right. what my tyrant knows is you can't enslave a people that believe in the boss. you have can't. therefore, any tyranny will build hostility to the gods, to the biblical commitment of any kind of the all. you always find it. cuba, soviet union, anywhere else, secularism is the religion of the day. i gave it a name. secular fundamentalism is the religion of the day. >> glenn: i want to take a break. i guess where we go now is god gets mad and punishes them but a happy ending. >> wonderful ending. sliver of hope for us. >> glenn: right. god doesn't get mad and he doesn't punish them. then we will end where we began with the picture of the tower of babel. blow your mind!

especially want to be exempt from it? it's so delicious. even the group who helped design the bill, the unions getting exemptions from it now is a job killer and an economy killer. you know it, i know it, so do they. europe is ahead of us. they're on fire because of the similar policies they've done years ago and they all failed. what they created over there is coming apart at the seams. instead of admitting wrong, they're doubling down and trying to force the entire globe in a new world order. this may seem like a new story to you, but a new world order is not. the fist time it was tried -- i'll bring in rabbi lapin. rabbi, the first time socialism or communism or new world order was tried was the tower of babel, right? >> yes. >> glenn: okay. so let's just pick the story up. if you miss the story, if you miss in theed first half of the -- if you miss the first

half of the show, dvr the show, man, what are you thinking? the idea the hunter of men started to erase god. he became king. >> yes. >> glenn: said let's make people like bricks, all the same. not like stone. mortar that will hold the bricks together is materialism. and we'll have this utopia. we'll build a tower that will reach the heavens. >> yes. >> you will be able to fulfill your highest aspirations in that fashion. >> glenn: we're all bricks. >> and i urge people to read the story and to listen to us. not as if we're describing some long forgotten historic event, but we're describing what is really happening today. and we'll happen in our grandchildren's organization, somewhere in the world again. >> glenn: tell me the happy ending. i read the story and god gets angry and comes down and scatters the people. >> okay, fine. well, to just put in to context, the surest indicator

that this is going on is when your leaders try to turn you from stones in to bricks. a lot of way it's done. people might want to get you out from freedom of independence, the automobile. buy it in whatever color you want, whatever make, go whenever you like when you like. no, we want you to public transport. for the tower, for the higher purpose. we're going to save the environment, fewer cars. surely you want to save the environment. the housing is in cabrini green in chicago and moscow, the government housing looks the same. everybody in dicky tacky boxes. we want everyone to be like bricks. there will be a war on state's rights because we take away individual rights and take away the states rights. it will go to the tower in the middle.

that is happening as well. god comes along and as you said earlier, it doesn't punish the people. the name of god used in the hebrew text is not judgment god but the mercy god. he says i'm on the side of people. i'm on the side of the abraham model which happens to be the model subscribed to passionately and fervently by the founders of the united states. >> glenn: what he says is i'll make you back to stone, not bricks. >> right. >> glenn: he confuses it because they're not working together as one. >> not crazy about the one world idea. >> glenn: he's not punishing them because thought they were doing the right thing. like social justice. people are involved in social justice a perversion in most or many case of that jesus idea or the grand idea of help one another. push it in the government, in

i do believe and was told that the design of the headquarters in the parliament in strasburg, france, the designers were asked to make it resemble the tower of babel -- >> glenn: we call and they tried to verify and they say they're just reflecting the coliseum. >> right. that's what we want to build in europe. place for christians -- >> >> glenn: right. i doesn't make it any better. but it's remarkable. what is the name of that report? >> many languages, one people. >> something like that. yeah, their slogan is many languages, one family. >> they can't help it. anybody who is following the
