their mine. and, also, herman cain is still at the top. not only nationally but in florida and south carolina after the allegations. >>dave: that is very interesting. a "wall street journal" poll asks who do you think is the likely nominee for the republicans and voters say romney overwhelmingly: 45-13 percent for herman cain. but the polls show him right there at the top. has he turned the page from the scandal? >> well, cot is right, it is mit romney and not mitt romney and right now not mitt romney is getting 75 percent of vote and i add that 25 percent want romney and 45 percent think he will be the nominee sew there is a quarter than the want him and close to half think he will be the nominee, and there is a deficit gap in support. so that works to his advantage but you need votes to win a nomination, not polls.

>>dave: scott, to herman cain, now, 30 percent of republican voters say they are less likely to vote for him because of the scandal. his support among women has fallen 13 percent in a month. has he survived the scandal? has he turned the page? >> it has hurt his poll numbers. he went from down 5 in a matchup against president obama, to down 11 over the course a couple of weeks. so there has been some impact. but, most voters overwhelmingly are saying we are not sure what to make of the allegations. we will see what else comes out. herman cain is still on top of the polls and he has a chance to turn it around but he has not finished it yet. >>dave: it looks like rick perry's fall helped out gingrich and in this poll it shows that the unfavorables for rick perry not so good, 25 percent. any chance, doug, he can come

back? how big does he have to perform in the debate tonight? >>guest: well, he will be spending a lot of money in iowa, south carolina, on television commercials. and that's an effort to try to blunt the impact of his disasterous debate appearance last week. he will have to do extremely well tonight. and change the narrative but at this point given the high unfavorability and the poll numbers are single digits i am not optimistic. >>dave: is he done? >> you never want to say someone is done but a single vote but it is difficult to see a path for require and the only hope is he can pick the i'm not romney candidate if the others falter and right now, no matter who we were what up in a two man race against romney, it's dead even between romney and cain.

incentive of feeling you are invested in the company and you will benefit from the growth and success of the company and it has add more incentive to do a great job even more than just collecting a check every two weeks. you are more invested in the company. >>clayton: how can you afford this? you have to understand what our company does, what we do is, we are not the normal consulting form that goes into the company and section, okay, this is what you are doing wrong. we come in on the company side and we will say what the vendors are doing wrong, the phone company, trash company, landlord and see if you have been overcharged or we can save you money. we are only compensated if we successful and we sure in the savings over a long period of time since we invested all the time and capital to do the project so that is how we can

>> welcome back, check out the new poll, putting presidential candidate newt gingrich in second place. while herman cain appears to be maintaining his lead right now. so is the 2012 g.o.p. nomination still up for grabs? >> let's ask the rnc chairman who joins us live. we appreciate you being here. >> good morning, guys, happy to be here. >> dave: interesting polls. i think we still see romney floating around that 22, 23, kind of has a ceiling, but the news is newt gingrich, rising up into that upper tier, alone in second place in that poll. you see there from mcclatchy. is he a legitimate contender for the nomination without a whole lot of money in the back and without opposition research having really started yet? >> well, i think, you know, the field is wide open and i think any one of these candidates could do a good job for the country considering the position the president put

this country in. what you're seeing is that people across the country are starving for real leadership again and that's why you're seeing so much talk about the republican candidates and what's happening to get this country back on track and save america. >> and a little more nuanced on some of the numbers, because the criticism i'm reading from some of the numbers and some on the right. this is a reflection and seeing the reburg of the gingrich numbers, from some of the the g.o.p. faithful. they see newt gingrich as more conservative and someone they can rally behind. what do you say to that? >> well, i don't buy any of that. what i think and where a little historical reminder, you might remember the seven dwarfs on the democratic side of the aisle and bush was seen unbeatable and lo and behold you had a governor from arkansas come around named bill clinton and he did pretty well himself. i think what you're seeing, you're seeing an american public that knows, by over 70%

on every poll taken for the last six months, 70% of the american people believe that this country is on the wrong track and so air seeing people that are desperate for an answer and a solution to this president. you're going to see fluctuations, and i think primaries are tough, but we're going be to be stronger when we have a nominee coming out of the republican side of the aisle. >> speaking of the wrong track, the super committee appears to be headed nowhere, because, look, they're trying to find 1.2 trillion dollars in savings, they have to have a deal on paper by the 21st, nine days out. done by the 23rd, or 500 billion dollars in cuts from the defense department. now, we've heard republicans are offering around 500 billion dollars in new revenues, and democrats are balking at that. one, do you see any chance of a deal getting done and two, some are speculating that the president might not actually want the deal because now he can paint the republicans as

obstructionists, as a do-nothing party. what do you say. >> well, first, we have to have a deal. i mean, our country is approaching 15 trillion dollars of debt. and for all the talk that this president loves to spew out of his mouth, he is on pace to accumulate more debt than every single president before him combined, 15 trillion dollars. second point that you made. i don't doubt that for a second that this president is hoping for failure because here is the deal. this president came and campaigned across this country as the great uniter. he was going to change washington. everyone was going to come together and now, this president's coming back to america, as the great divider. hate on everybody, republican versus democrat, rich versus poor, have's versus have not's and let's see how much we can get everybody polarized in america. his plan is to roll the dice, take his chances and try to

the warning comes days before one of the busiest travel weeks of the year. officials say there's reason to believe that terrorists might try and detonate bombs on buses both in the u.s. and abroad. documents received from osama bin laden's compound outlined a plot to use the buses as weapons, driving them into buildings or crowds of people and officials say a specific attack is not imminent. more trouble the at mf global, the embattled securities firm reportedly fired the entire fork force as part of the liquidation process. that's $1066 employees now without jobs. the company once run by new jersey governor john corzine. the troubled firm also under investigation for allegedly misusing investors' money. what are the odds of this? not one, but two very special babies. both of them born yesterday, on 11-11-11 at you guessed it at 11:11 a.m.

a ran with excellent reputation, they came forward six week investigation and no charges were brought. mysterious in 2005 he disappears, he no indication of depression, no indication that there's a problem he just says i'm going for a ride and find his mini cooper with cigarette ashes in the car. this guy hated cigarettes and hated smokers and never been allowed in his car. they find his computer in the susquehanna river hard drive separated from it and curiously on his person computer he searched for way toss destroy a hard drive and we've got a guy, no suicide note, who clearly didn't indicate there was a problem and today we can't say to him, why didn't you prosecute. tonight on my show, i have the sitting d.a., good friends with him, will talk about sandusky and what kind of d.a. he was, and his nephew someone i've spoken to, whether or not he would have committed suicide and we've got a crime reporter. this is key to this whole

issue of who knew what and when, at penn state. >> alisyn: it's so mysterious, can't you conclude that in 1998 he didn't find enough evidence to move forward. >> sure, everybody concludes that's what he said, why? was it because he was part after conspiracy? was it because there wasn't enough evidence? is it because he just didn't want to go forward and bring down someone, 'cause he knew there was a super due process in this case. >> dave: was it about money? there was coverup on many be. lels of the administration, could it have gone to investigators and police. it will go to the grand jury. >> make no mistake, there will be many more victims. >> dave: they will pay big time. >> their foundation will be the shattered by the legal lawsuits up and coming. >> clayton: all right, you've the got to watch justice with jeanine pirro tonight. good to see you. fascinating.

going to have to pay a little bit more, perhaps cut some of the work hours and that might attract some american workers. >> so that's part of the sacrifice here, look, getting illegal immigrants to do the work and american labor, but what is it now, they need to cut from ten to eight hours a day. >> apparently, yeah, and pay more, and now what, that t tomato is going to cost more. more americans would embrace the more expensive if it was more and more american work force. >> it's not that americans are lazy. >> not true. >> one of the hardest working countries in the word and that's why the story fascinates. >> as a matter of fact, manual, menial labor used to be american jobs and boot strapping and getting the uniform dirty is american exceptionalism and the other side, again, being willing to pay more, it's such a big, big situation that has to be turned. i always say it's like turning
