both sides have a lot of strong feelings about this. as we saw, eric, this weekend, we caught another terrorist plotting an attack. and so should they have not used profiling to catch the guy? >> eric: the whole thing, cair, the organization has been telling the members and various people associated with cair not to cooperate with police. meanwhile, we're constantly catching these people. this guy, the guy they caught on sunday night, i believe, sunday afternoon, was an hour away from planning the bomb that was going to go after a cop, returning military service person. think about what is going on. we had a guy in times square ready to blow up explosives. >> andrea: most muslims are peaceful. it's a radical arm. is the nypd not supposed to

♪ ♪ >> eric: welcome back to "the five." bob, stop it. a couple of quick updates to a story we did in the "a" block earlier in the show. congress -- by the way, the democratic congresswoman from new york, issued a state in the support of michele bachmann. the statement reads, "the choice of songs they introduced michele bachmann on late night with jimmy fallon last night was insulting and inappropriate. i do not share michele bachmann's politics but she deserves to be treated with respect. no female politician and no woman should be subjected to this offensive innuendo like
