american panel, he's a fox news contributor, jacques is back. and he's the crazy guy on the red eye show that gets huge ratings, fox news correspondent -- you do. congrats. >> they never tell me anything. i'm a glorified intern. >> okay. >> good news for me. >> good to see you, bill. thank you for being here. letter. the exchange. food stamp president, newt gingrich. keep in the back of your mind, when did they ever do this to barack obama over bill ayers. never happened. watch this exchange. >> are you intentionally playing the race card to win votes? >> you know modern liberals are just, i think, frankly, totally off the deep end -- >> i'm asking, mr. gingrich, about the nature you are of the way you are characterizing president obama as the food stamp president. >> right. >> go ahead. >> i'm trying to make a point to you which is when conservatives care about the poor and
9:48 pm
conservatives offer ideas to help the poor and conservatives suggest the poor would rather have a paycheck than the food stamps, the very liberals who have failed them at places like the new york times promptly scream racism because they have no defense. >> obama's policy we have 12 million more people on food stamps, his programs have failed. he stated a fact. and i don't think she even heard a conservative speak by the sounds of that. >> have you ever seen an n get so passionate about something? >> no. >> and where were they before. >> they never asked him about that. this he hammering bain capital. the cayman islands. >> i like the cayman islands things because i think i picked my president and he's a pirate."
9:49 pm
i love pirate. >> let me go to jacques. >> wait a minute. >> in barack obama's book, i know people are going to like what i'm going to do, but i'm going to do it anyway, he admits he used cocaine. do you remember anyone grilling him about cocaine use, who was your dealer works did you get it from, where did you get it from. in this environment, attacking every republican on every wart from 15, 20 years ago, why not ask him about his relationship with bill ayers and his drug use s that fair? >> on the one hand you don't want to talk about somebody's marriages years ago but you want to explore -- >> no, i want the media to be fair. >> i president of the united states, a, is not running against the media, number one. he's running against whoever the republicans will eventually nominate. >> why didn't ann curry and him about his coke use. >> why not when the debate took place this week when they had a debate on martin luther king's
9:50 pm
birthday, an day a country examines its values and where it is, why didn't any republican candidate say anything meaning about someplace. >> i can. >> not you. why didn't any of the candidates say anything meaningful will race. >> no, it did, i was there. >> no, race came up, but. >> can you ask you a question? when $12 million people are on food stamps. >> but you are not answer manage i question. >> i'm the host. you are guest. >> okay. >> when 12 million people are on food stamps why is it wrong to say he's the food stamp president because he's increasing the numbers. >> the food stamp program is created by president nixon, a republican. >> but $12 million more under obama. you are dodging. >> i'm not dodging. >> i kind of think those numbers are suspect. everyone is asking if it's a racial thing but no one has called him up on the numbers. yesterday the u.s. department of agriculture said there are
9:51 pm
400,000 fewer recipients of food stamps unobama versus bush, so in reality if we want to crunch the numbers, bush was the food stamp president. >> i think what is happening now is the obama administration, his campaign, they are trying to brand the republican party for us. we've had a disconnect on branding and they are trying to brand the republican party as someone that's the big rich guy, the guy that's insensitive, billionaire that doesn't care. when in return, a lot of these people, take the billionaires like wal-mart, fedex, he's billionaires aren't the bad guys, they are creating and jobs and giving jobs. >> but it goes deeper. he spent $5 trillion of money we don't have. he's accumulated more debt in three years. he called bush unpatriotic and said he was irresponsible and unpatriotic. 5 trillion already in three obama years. >> sean, as donald trump says,
9:52 pm
he should be fired. >> he should be fired. i wish trump would get him on his show and fire him. >> i don't know if detroit would griffin agree with that. the economy is on the up swing, we are leaving afghanistan and iraq, it's not that bad, guys. >> the economy is to the on the up swing. >> ain't a down swing. >> foreclosures are still happening. >> it will be 25% this year. >> he's created jobs -- excuse me, government jobs. >> but the alternative is the cast of characters that you call the republican primary candidates. >> i'll take the pirate. >> i'll take any of the -- i'll take this football over obama. >> but the american public won't. the american public remembers obama of the month club and that's what we've had. >> every republican is a bum? >> that's what i am saying. >> what if i call obama a bum? >> i'm saying politically a number of people have put their personal ambitions ahead of principals and that's what the

>> we continue with our great, great american panel. i think one of the biggest decisions that did not get a lot of press is the keystone pipeline rejection of obama. here's why. unemployment in north dakota is 3.5% right now. 3.5% because of drilling. canada got out of the recession because they started to drill. there are literally hundreds and hundreds and thousands of jobs available. this oil -- the pipeline is going to be built, the oil is going to china. how big a mistake is this for obama? >> it's a huge mistake, number one. number two, i think the reasoning behind it is he was pandering to his environmentalists. he said i'll tick off the unions because where else are they going to go? he pandered to his far far left because he knows he has the unions in his pocket anyway. but he could have made a really good mark on his campaign if he would have gone ahead and approved of this. >> and immediately it would help the economy. even his own, what was it, the economic commission, they
9:58 pm
recommended that they drill, baby, drill. he didn't listen to his deficit commission, why are we paying for these commissions, jacques? >> he's not bound by the commission. they advised him. he has other things he takes into consideration, as every president of the united states has done. they take advice and weigh it against other factors. >> why didn't he -- >> it's not a final decision. >> not final? >> it's not a final decision. >> it has been the most researched project in terms of safety and harm to the environment as any project has been researched. look at the political instability in the it's midwest, and the iran. >> great. i'm going there two eks for vacation, now you tell me. >> you are allowed. >> i'm for this. you know, i'm not much of an environmentalist. i pollute my lunch daily f this is going to create jobs, i can't defend obama on it. i think they should have done
9:59 pm
it. >> the notion we should plunder the environment just to create -- >> plunder? >> environmental people have legitimate concerns. he wants them addressed. he didn't reject it flatly out of hand. they have been in ongoing discussions and i think eventually you will find a reasonable compromise. >> we are trying to decrease our dependency on foreign oil. what in the heck is he doing? >> the same american who rescued the auto industry, the same person who got osama bin laden, but he's the person who made the decision. >> i don't think it was the right decision. >> you are right. we have bush on record three separate times saying i don't care where osama is and obama's campaign is i'm going to get it and he re-upped and he did it. >> but you have to lock at the fact. if we would have adopted the measures we wouldn'tha
