ron paul organization may split some out. you have a more main stream mitt romney. and if you listen to what mitt. i have a lot of tea party friends in the audience on the gulf coast and in the audience in jacqueline. listen to what he's saying. this is a conservative governor who had executive experience and 800 veto in one of the most liberalitate nation and cut deficits up there and brought back jobs. this man is going to protect our boarders . he is pro life and support supreme court judges . he's saying what southern voters want to hear in their next president. >> with mr. romney acknowledging he is facing opposition with the southern voters. he said they don't like me but they tolerate me. is that a fair comparison?

>> not at all. i wouldn't get close to that. i think the fair comparison is ronald reagan. he came to mississippi from california and he had been a democrat and they listen to ronald reagan . they said he played in movies and was a governor and former president of a union . i can remember in those days, there was an idea of who is this ronald reagan guy and should we embrace him? they did and as they got to know ron aldreagan and they will get to know mitt romney and they will realize he is a great american and restore america to the shining city on the hill and make sure we bring down the four dollar gas prices that are killing the economy here mississippi and across the nation. i think he realize that the economy is rebounding because of the 29 republican governors that are rebuilding their

story. >> the motive behind the attack is unclear and a hundred police officers are on the search for the suspect this morning up in washington state. this happened inside of the main entrance of the courthouse. though it is not clear if the assailant was at a court proceedings and why he was at the location in the first place. we know coming from eyewitnesses, say that the suspect got in a struggle with a sheriff deputy stabbing her when what is a pair of scissors and then shot her in the leg. a judge saw this all going down and he intervene was also injured. listen there had been a commotion in the hallway and i came out to see what it was. he had a weapon in his hand and a knife or something and he was stabbing at her. and that's what i got stabbed with. that's the judge who was hurt there.

the suspect managed to wrestle the deputy's gun from her hand and fled the scene. the town was on lock down for a brief period of time after this all happened. we are talking about a very small town. only a population of 4,000 people total. 90 miles southwest of seattle. the judge and that deputy who was hurt have been treated and released from the hospital. there is a press conference underway about this time. it is supposed to be happening soon in that area and we are going to be having more information come also sound out of that briefing and we'll have that for you in the next hour on fox news, uma. >> casey, we'll look forward to that. thank you very much. a new video of a rocket launched in israel and 15 people were killed in the renewed violence with the gaza strip. this as tensions reach a

he spent a lot of money over the course of the last six months and we have seen his favorable numbers are lowest of a front runner for a nomination had in yearings. he's losing support with independent and lost support with women and the republican base is not excited with this guy. and you know, he's probably going to do well on tuesday . that will be good for him to win and demonstrate that he's not a rional candidate and he will probably win the nomination, what is left of him in november? i think that is a question that his campaign will have to deal with. >> amy, is it a situation where mitt romney is winning the votes but not the love of voters? >> i just think uma, that we don't have a ronald reagan running right now and that's why the excite enthusiasm is not there. we have seen the turn out in all of these states is very low . the race is not over. we can have an impact.

every vote counts and what i encourage everybody to do is get out and work for your candidate f. you don't work in the primary, come the generall election you will be voting for the lesser of two evils. people in the states need to work for their candidate this weekend and even in otheritates, activist can be phone banking to mississippi and alabama and that's what i am encouraging people to do. we can impact the race but it is up for us to do it now. >> rick santorum firmly believes that he would be the front runner in newt gingrich dropped out. he pushes for newt gingrich to step aside and he can garner the votes for social conservatives and others out there. should he at this point? >> well, the problem that rick santorum has. it is that he has to, the rest of the electorate and a lot of

people think he's not electable against the president. not all of the polls bear that out. his other problem is that he is not competing from a money stained point against mitt romney. he has spent sevenmillion on tv ads and rick santorum under two million dollars. with all of that money that mitt romney spent he's doing poorly over all with the general electorate and amy mentioned he's not able to generate the excitement. i think the republicans are looking for an rg3. quarterback for the redskins are trying to get a dynamic game changer and now they have a robot that is detach disconfrom the party and that will cause them problem in november. and amy, as head of the tea party express what is the strategy going forward? we haven't heard from the tea party as of late in terms of

taking a stand on specific issue in a public way. going forward how are the tea party members looking at this race at this point and where do their loyalties lie at this point? >> the thing is, the tea party is alive and well. and they are focused on local anditate issues . we are focusing on the senate. regardless if president obama is reelected or not we need to take back the senate. i want to go back to your question a minute go. governor romney is spending more money. and all of the candidates. it doesn't matter who is the nominate. they will not have the amount of money president obama will have in the coffs. they need the boots on the ground to work for them so that they can beat president obama even if they don't have the monep and so who ever the candidate is. they have to bring everybody together and we have to work

>> i am sure that is what the romney team hopes. newt gingrich if it is not mitt romney winning mississippi and alabama they hope newt gingrich will. if newt gingrich doesn't win at leastt one. he has to win both some say, he can't continue the campaign credible. if newt gingrich wins both alabama or mississippi the split continues. if newt gingrich doesn't win alabama or mississippi, santorum would be expected to gain some what. we tend to oversimplify. it is not that all of newt gingrich's voters would move to santorum. good studies suggest that 55 or 60 percent of them would move to santorum. but romney would get a quarter and paul would get some and some would drop out for a while it is more complicated that it appears on the surface. >> romney camp is confident

about the math. they say they have the delegates in place . even if they lose severalitates over the next few weeks, they come out ahead. some say mitt romney is overconfident; how do you feel about that? >> after what they have been through. i couldn't imagine they are overconfident and there are bumps in the road like today in kansas. they will have another bump in the road in kansas when kansas probably votes for santorum. we'll find out later today. what is really interesting, uma and we don't focus on. look at what happened in guam and the northern mara ana. vast majority of people didn't even know guam and the northern meriaanahad convention. it sitotal of 18. mitt romney swept them. why? he has the national organization and financing to have done the ground work there and he sent his eldest
