>> andrea: both sides, for both sides this is a race to define not just themselves but to define each other. i think that barack obama is going to try to define mitt romney as a strange out-of-touch elitists, rich guy. that is that he is not hope and change. he said he would unite, he is dividing. he said he would bring down the deficit, he didn't. he said make less dependent on foreign oil. he didn't. he said he'd create jobs and he didn't do the things he said he would do. he is not the president to fix the economy. i think romney has an easier job in that sense. this is a race, really, to define each other's onus. >> kimberly: that sounded like things are not good at all for the president. >> greg: i think romney has it tougher, because the fight isn't with obama, it's with his powerful p.r. firm, mainstream media. once they kick in, he will be

johnson. the fact is, mitt romney is way over to the right now and has to work back to the center. >> andrea: this is what we talk about a number of time. if the flip-flopping was going to hurt him in the republican primary it would hurt him in the general election, too. >> bob: right. >> andrea: i think that mitt romney has to be more unapologetic about his record in business. he has a tremendous record. shouldn't back away from the success. he got better at it after being hit by gingrich and santorum but he has to i think come out swinging. >> kimberly: own it. >> andrea: i have a great record on this. i created more jobs than the president has. >> kimberly: the poll numbers favor him. that they feel like romney is more qualified than obama. >> eric: i want to point out what you brought up. romney had to tag right. he did in the fight to get the nomination. the question is will he tack back to the center. prominent conservatives say he won't, he can't and he shouldn't, because if he does,

liberal think tank, conservative think tank. midof the road think tanks, there is a majority of americans that think something is happening. here is the issue. they don't think it's a crisis. the number has gone down, look at a pew study. 2006, much higher number. 77% believe in it. 43% think it's serious. now that is down to 63%. and only 38% respectively. people think something is happening but they don't think it's an alarmist crisis to spend taxpayers dollars to fix. >> greg: can i say something about this? even if there is global warming going at a slight, you know, sliver of celsius, though scientists measure by kel vin. it's good for human beings. if a polar bear dies i don't feel bad. i don't. human beings, when the temperature goes up, human beings live longer. when you have cold spells across the country, people die. >> bob: you are very upset. >> greg: part of the flat

april. we're getting to the point where commencement addresses are coming up. and i have not been asked to participate in a commencement address for any colleges. so i'm putting myself out there. but i have some standards. it those be an all girl college. by the east coast. they have to supply my meals and a roof over my head. they should have a decent lacrosse team. >> andrea: high school? >> greg: i'm not allowed near high schools. >> bob: there is the women's correctional facility in maryland that has a high school equivalency program. >> greg: really? >> bob: yes. field hockey and soccer. >> greg: fantastic. >> bob: perfect for you. >> greg: it would. you would like me to do that. you know i would not come home. >> bob: no, no. you'd come home. you might come home wounded but you'd come home. i took an a.a. meeting there once. >> kimberly: is this segment called the stream of consciousness or something? i don't know what to do about it. >> bob: graduation date.

sorry. >> kimberly: i have a story. before we head to the green room we have one last one more thing. this is a nice story. little boy who is 13 years old. quick thinking on a bus ride, the driver went in to a medical distress situation, was like passed out, eyes bulging. 13-year-old boy on the bus jeremy jumped in. took ahold of the wheel. eventually pulled the key out of the ignition to get the bus to come to a stop. 13 other middle school students on there. from milton, washington. >> greg: do you know how fast they were going? the faces were blurred. >> kimberly: all right. that is a wrap for us. we want to end on a positive note. god bless him. he's a hero. that's it. thank you for watching. see you tomorrow rht here on "the five." ♪ ♪
